Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I think Jade is the least bitchy girl in there. I am liking her more and more every day. Even her neediness in regard to the males is half endearing/half head in hands (get away from Ed... get away from Ed!!!!). I like how she is getting on now in the house, interacting more with the other housemates, letting Drew and Tully just get on with it - the best possible thing she can do, because if he does not realise it already, he very soon will, that he is virtually in a hostage situation with that two toned emotionally draining leech that has embedded her suckers into his very life force. I loved that she won the challenge, and I LOVEd her decisions re swop and presidential suite. It was a very genuine and believable choice to pick Ben.... who is going NO WHERE, so no question there that she was shafting Ben in any way. Increased the odds that Jasmin will go, which I really hope happens. The worst scenario would be Mikkayla or Tahan going and Jasmin remaining another week. It also would have looked too needy and too obvious I think to pick Drew for the presidential suite. A great choice to pick the girls. Maybe she is stepping back now a little and doing a Scarlett O'Hara on it......one day he will come back... tomorrow is another day !

No words really... are there ! Mind you... Drew is bedding with the she devil at the moment... so we have to get rid of both Ed and Tully. Nice double eviction next week lol

Yes, please! LOL. I miss Drade :( I haven't seen them together at all lately and Drew looks so moody in the live updates haha. Haha I loved your previous post a lot as well, especially wishing that she pulls a Scarlett O'Hara on it hahaha. I can see the similarities...Hopefully Ed is Ashley and Drew is Rhett Butler in the sense that Jade will come to her senses and realise how good Drew was to her and go to him in the end

God yes..... I really hope they gravitate back to each other, and that this is just a transitional phase.... in that HE realizes he has befriended a loon...... and she realises the vessel might be pretty, but its pretty empty !! Ed could bore for the olympics !
 
i don't understand why people liked "drade" so much, it was cringe worthy. However i would watch anything over drew and tully together, a little part of me want's to poke my eyes out with shards or glass every time they are together. I too think jade is a really nice person, a little desperate, but sweet hearted.
 
Doubt drade will ever get back together seeing as she was all over caleb last night and then in bed with ed, she really is like a dog on heat isn't' she?

As has been discussed here she just seeks validation from guys, it's quite sad and I feel for her.
She's worth so much more than she realises.

I agree with this. I think Jade genuinely thinks a lot of Drew and that's why she feels comfortable with being affectionate with him, but from the start its always been Ed that she says she's attracted to. She just comes across very awkward when she's flirting, kind of embarrassing for her but I don't think she's bitchy at all and it's not her fault Ed can't express himself using actual sentences, and also now seems to be sending mixed messages. Much as a lot of people would like Drade, I think it's important to remember that these are real people, not characters in a story and they don't always follow the script lol. Specially now Drew has a permanent leech attached...
 
The "Drade" ain't gonna happen no mo'.

Last season we had Michael the guy with the high IQ and no brain and the 'Surfer dude' - can't remember his name. The producers were going to have those two race into the final. It didn't work out because the Surfer dude pulled out due to a death in the family.

This season, the producers' formula is the same. Michael has been morphed into Tim, the Surfer dude into Drew... which brings me back to "Drade". Drew will be too busy doing 'fun stuff' with Tim. Should Jade demand more attention of Drew in a "Drade" scenario, she will be dropped like a hot potato, the horny-houswives-brigade will make sure of that.

Look what happened last season to the bland but pretty little girl who attached herself to the Surfer dude. It was obvious that they both enjoyed the smooching, flirting and even the 'touching of bodyparts'. The horny-housewives-brigade rallied and the Surfer-dude's pretty little playmate was written out of the BB script.

I fear the same will happen to Jade - damn, I hope I'm wrong :confused:
 
She sees Drew as an ally, keep him close to give her validation. She knows he likes her and she assumes correctly he won't nominate her. Be interesting to see what happens in the next week, seeing as her and Ed hooked up last night. And I agree Tesa Davies, what was with the whole hanging onto Caleb and he giving her the long swooping back and shoulders rubs. Maybe the Sisters will be start to get jaded over their bestie moochin in on Lucy's man. Never seen Caleb rubbing Lucy like that. I'm sorry but the more I see of Jade, the more pathetic she is.

Bring in another hot intelligent gentlemanly dude to even the score(. 2 guys out as opposed to one female) and then the fun begins or another Tim and then we'll have more pranking.

But I don't really think of her as Ava because Ava was an intruder that came in and we didn't really get to know her as well as we got to know Jade in the duo that was called "Drade" Lol. We got to know Jade and Drew together and it's hard to see them apart I think mainly for the people who liked that side of Drew when he was with Jade. However, I can seem them parting ways. Like many have said, I'd love to see what their thoughts are and get them in the diary room!

I concur with this. To be honest the females in there are quite average in comparison to the male beefy equivalents. Only jade and tahan would a second a look from most of the 'model' type guys in the real world and as such it is imperative that any future intruder is a good looking sheila to even the ledger. :cool:

Yes, of course you are right... I'd completely forgotten. I still fear though the public will be as callous with Jade as they were with Ava - once Jade has lost the "Drade" allure.
