It's odd with the spying thing. It really shows people want to live in a fascist dictatorship where the government is free to do all sorts of things that the people wouldn't approve of. The idea that the government working with in consent of the public is a bad thing. That they know best and are always doing whatever they can, even if wrong in the best interests of the people. That while we may not approve, we must blindly trust them and not ask questions or ever hold them to account.

This whole idea that the leaks are embarrassing and worse are likely to come should be a major red flag. If the government and it's agencies think it'll look bad and the Australian public will not like what they hear when they find out what they are up to. Then they shouldn't be doing this at all.

They should be saying that they aren't worried how it looks because the Australian public will be happy and support it. How in a democracy can our government and it's agencies be saying people won't be happy when they find out what they are secretly doing behind closed doors? They they aren't acting in a democratic fashion.

Of course Murdoch and his cronies are all against it, they're just part of the, 'tell the public what we want, doesn't have to be true and they'll think how we want them to' way of viewing the masses.

Anyhoo, lscp, numba1son and I enjoyed watching "Ender's game" (despite its many reminders to me of one of my favorite movies, "The Last Starfighter") tonight and we all reckon it was far better than the latest movie offering in the "Hunger Games" saga.

At the time I was two minds as to whether I should enjoy it or not as I thought the author was Samuel R Delany (shudder) rather than Orson Scott Card.

This was one occasion I was so glad to discover I was mistaken and had got it wrong.

The only logical next step is to send the auditors, backed by the riot squad if necessary, into the offices of ABC3 and ABC4 in Ultimo. Considering that our Creator, Savior, Lord, and Judge has objectively declared marriage to be between a man and a woman then, regardless of the kind of sick parody certain elements in society would like to force and inflict upon us, even via "lawfare", it ain't ever going to anything other than impossible.

Just because one judge one day decides to deem evil good and good evil doesn't change the ultimate reality regarding it, let alone the objectively determined benchmark / measure.

In short, what happened the other week could never legitimately have been called marriage because, in the eyes of our Creator, Savior, Lord, and judge, marriage is only truly possible between a man and a woman.

It seems plain to me that it is not something that can be modified, changed, or redefined and so it is utter folly (and an attack on all that is Holy) to attempt to.

Don’t believe me little robbie… Head to Russia or China for a while as I have and see what makes those societies tick and how happy they are- Hell, you don’t even have to do that… just see how many women put themselves on the net as “brides” to escape the hellish nightmare they endure in those Countries mate… Seems those who have experienced life under your ideological Utopia are voting with their feet to escape it in their millions.

Apart from DH’s like Snowden however, you don’t see too many from free democratic Capitalist societies heading the other way mate… Wonder why?? They are not even under threat of being “eliminated” should they choose to do so…

It doesn’t matter that the poorest in our country are still better off than 99.9% of human beings that came before them throughout history. That’s irrelevant. It also doesn’t matter that the alternative is much MUCH worse, that’s irrelevant too.
