In The News

Don't think I need to highlight the tragedy in the USA.

All I can say to sad American families is - flee.
If your country refuses to protect tiny kids and finally stand up to the friggin gun lobby bastards - well the only thing you can do is mass migration somewhere safe with maybe less for you but hell your kids get to live, and live fearlessly.
Soon schools won't exist over there, too dangerous - how utterly sad, you can't love kindy, you can't go to the movies, what's next hospital massacres, nursing home murders?

And every American I heard today, lots, STILL won't go there - UK broadcast kept asking will this murdering babies make you do something - ever friggin one said ooooo no don't ask me that, different issue..........they are fucked.

From: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_gun_owners_are_there_in_the_United_States_of_America

Number of guns and gun owners in USA.

Most estimates range between 39% and 50% of US households having at least one gun(that's about 43-55 million households). The estimates for the number of privately owned guns range from 190 million to 300 million. Removed those that skew the stats for their own purposes the best estimates are about 45% or 52 million of American households owning 260 million guns).

There are about 80 million gun owners in America with a combining total of 258 million guns.

... and AFAIC, despite such tragedies as has just occured, the USofA would soon be a far worse place if it wasn't for their 80 million or so citizens who, thankfully, make suitable and proper use of their constitutional rights.

My how the luciferic left would just luuurv to have an unarmed general population.

It would make their dream of utter totalitarian control so much easier to achieve.

As for this latest tragedy, I've read that the 20ish year old gunman's girlfriend is missing and his first (lets call it for what it is) murder at the school was his own mother, a school teacher.

Hmmm.

The following yodaism springs to mind

We know you love to oppose everyone Ders - but this is tasteless with at least 20 small children massacred.

Because, AFAYC, when there are "at least 20 small children massacred", YOUR opinion and those that more or less agree with it, is the right or tasteful one, hmmm ?

Based on what ?

As for my POV, the murder of those children is a horrible tragedy but if it wasn't for the fact that the USofA was deliberately designed to maintain an armed general population it would have already suffered the same sort of thing as Nazi Germany and the like, with far more murdering of young and old alike ... and it carried out by the very State.

[ADIT]

Anyhoo, perhaps those of the luciferic left should be blaming their darling Obamanation ?

From here: http://www.forbes.com/sites/frankmi...ont-tell-you-about-the-boom-in-u-s-gun-sales/

What The Left Won't Tell You About The Boom In U.S. Gun Sales

As gun sales surged in early 2009 the going joke among employees of gun manufacturers was that President Barack Obama was the “greatest gun salesman of all time.” The trouble with this backhanded complement, however, is Left-leaning news outlets have since used it to avoid something that really scares them.

As ABC put it, Americans are buying more Glocks and Berettas simply because they fear “a second Obama administration might restrict gun ownership.” Their reporting conveniently stops right there.

...

So why did overall gun sales begin going up well before President Obama was elected? The answer is in the way American’s view guns. In 1959 some 60 percent of the American public favored handgun bans, according to Gallup, whereas today 73 percent oppose such bans and only 26 percent want bans on handguns.

Other Gallup polls are even more interesting. The number of women gun owners in America has gone up from 13 percent in 2005 to 23 percent today. Also, the number of Democratic households with firearms in their homes skyrocketed from 30 percent in 2009 to 40 percent today.

Seems like back in 1959 lotsa folk in the USofA felt way safer and less fearful of their neighbour and their government than they do now !

And. For. Good. Reason.

From the same article

... when the Supreme Court twice comes within one vote of ruling that the Second Amendment of the U.S. Bill of Rights isn’t an individual right, Americans have a right to be concerned. When an incumbent president seeking a second term has already put two people on the nine-member Supreme Court who would vote away this basic human freedom, they have the right to be fearful. And when you realize that, if reelected, that incumbent president would have a good chance of getting a few more Supreme Court picks, and so could reshape the high court for decades, people have a right to be motivated to buy firearms now.

Do you seriously think that responsible owners and/or users of firearms, etc, like it when those particular tools are used to deliberately and unlawfully kill or hurt someone ?

But Of Course we don't !

Sacred dart: Jesus lookalike kicked out of TV darts tournament because of crowd chants

It was an arrowing experience for Nathan Grindal when more than 4,000 darts fans decided he looked like Jesus.

As he sat down among them to watch a top darts final, the crowd started crucifying him with chants of: “Stand up if you love Jesus.”

The mickey-taking got so loud that it began to put legend of the oche Phil “The Power” Taylor and Belgian opponent Kim Huybrechts off their game.

From Jo
Draft IPCC report leaked (the evidence is so overwhelming it has to be kept secret!)
What was the point of keeping the IPCC draft secret? The point is so the IPCC can control both the content and the PR. The IPCC wants a free kick, and they get one if the world doesn’t see how they arrive at the conclusion, and if critics can’t specifically point to errors or flaws until weeks after the giant press circus has done its megaphone production.

From James
Breaking news from the US – h/t Watts Up With That? – where a leaked draft of the IPCC's latest report AR5 admits what some of us have suspected for a very long time: that the case for man-made global warming is looking weaker by the day and that the sun plays a much more significant role in "climate change" than the scientific "consensus" has previously been prepared to concede.

Here's the killer admission:

"Many empirical relationships have been reported between GCR or cosmogenic isotope archives and some aspects of the climate system (e.g., Bond et al., 2001; Dengel et al., 2009; Ram and Stolz, 1999). The forcing from changes in total solar irradiance alone does not seem to account for these observations, implying the existence of an amplifying mechanism such as the hypothesized GCR-cloud link. We focus here on observed relationships between GCR and aerosol and cloud properties."

As the leaker explains, this is a game-changer:

"The admission of strong evidence for enhanced solar forcing changes everything. The climate alarmists can’t continue to claim that warming was almost entirely due to human activity over a period when solar warming effects, now acknowledged to be important, were at a maximum. The final draft of AR5 WG1 is not scheduled to be released for another year but the public needs to know now how the main premises and conclusions of the IPCC story line have been undercut by the IPCC itself."

Over to you greentards. I look forward to reading your extravagant apologias as to why this is a story of no significance and that it's business as usual for the great Climate Change Ponzi scheme.

Anyhoo, how pleased are you lot about all your hard earned taxes going to folk in white coats who ButOfCourse turned out to be far less truthful or reliable or godlike than you thought or preferred them to be ? :D

Think on that the next time you pay your power bill or hear/read the words (there will be no) Carbon Tax (under a government I lead)

Not good news to wake up to this morning. :( I read the breaking news last night before I went to bed, when there was no news on casualties, was hoping for a good outcome.

CNN's blog:

http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/12/14/shooting-reported-at-connecticut-elementary-school

Not good news to wake up to this morning. :(

Gotta wonder WTH is going on in a family that a son goes into the school where his mother works as a kindegarten teacher and (presumably) shoots her dead (with firearms she herself had legally purchased) in front of her oh so young kids. :(

That she perhaps didn't get to directly see what her son did next is perhaps a small mercy to her.

From the well supported POV of view that we get to see what is going on around us as "The Real Us" leaves our flesh behind and moves on to What Happens Next, then at least the confused and scared kids who followed her moments later (presumably) had her presence (among the Ever Present Others) to greet and rally to.

I don't want to think about the kind of reception her son may have got though ...

[ADIT / Update]

oooer, It seems that she wasn't shot in front of the kids; she was found dead "at the suspect's home". Her son went to the school afterwards ! :( :(

[Updated at 6:43 p.m. ET] CNN’s Susan Candiotti is talking to investigators at the scene as they piece together exactly what happened and when. She says she’s learned that the mother of the suspected shooter, Nancy Lanza, was found dead in the suspect’s home in Newtown.

“Earlier we had information that she was found in the classroom. However, now I’m being told that in fact her body was found at the suspect's residence," Candiotti said. "We don't know whether she also lived there. We also don't know the timeline – when was she killed? Was she killed before the shooting began at the school? These are the things that authorities are still trying to piece together.”

Haven't found anything else about an alleged missing girlfriend but I'm now wondering if this guy was so angry @ his mother about something and wanted to hurt her so bad that he deliberately went to the school and her classroom after allegedly killing her during her visit to his place, to further act out his evil rage upon defenseless kids who she cared for and presumably loved.

Ah America and their love of guns. They are blind to anything in regards to controlling guns. They are a fucked.

The republican party doesn't want to spend on things like education and you wonder why so many of them are incapable of reading and writing but take away their guns they go bunta........

Ah America and their love of guns. They are blind to anything in regards to controlling guns.

No they are not.

If you bothered to actually look instead of shooting off your mouth in ignorance you will soon discover all sorts of sensible "controls" have been and are continuing to be developed and supported.

Developed and supported by people who are also righfully mindful about protecting a well designed constitution.

Developed and supported by people who own and use and/or support the ownership and use of firearms.

Wow, with an attitude like that you don't seem to be somebody who could pass muster or a background check for firearm ownership, to say the least !

Anyhoo, cheers for the reveal.

While you are being so passionately open about yourself, here is an opportunity to share with the forum on the following.

Are you for or are you against the murder of unborn children ?
(If *FOR* the murder of unborn children, then who are you to "waa" at the murder of born children ?)

Do you think humanity is likely to be the highest and most capable intelligence in existence in (or outside) this or any other universe ?
(If you think there are "higher" and "more capable" intelligences in existence, then couldn't there also be, basically, a "God" capable of creating all things both seen and unseen ?)

Do you consider your morals and measure of "right and wrong" to be superiour to God's ?
(If you do, what do you base you measure upon. If you don't, then why are you choosing to reject and rebel against that which you accept is superiour ?)

Do you think we are just flesh and when the flesh dies we are no more and basically cease to be ?
(If so, what does it matter who lives or dies and when, especially if you reckon the dead won't ever remember being alive and the alive will all be dead sooner or later ?)

Are you a willing supporter of ever increasing "Big Government" and corrosponding bureacrazy and totalitarianism ?
(If so, why do you not only want to be enslaved but also want the rest of us to be similar enslaved ? Are you afraid of personal responsibility or is it more a case of simply being lazy ?)

Are you basically "Married To The State" ?
(If so, I reckon your spouse is a fugly fat bludging beast that needs to get off its arse and start contributing to the good of the entire community and country rather than being such a parasite and mis-user of Other People's Money. :D)

Well i knew it was a mistake to read a post of yours.
But whatever - if I could find, without all the dogma and ranting, something related to gun laws - or anything that looks like a question that isn't some random rambling - well you know and i know it's all just hot air.
We separated religion from state a long time ago, but go play with the other fundamentalists who think killing is ok.

Must hurt you that your beloved HOWARD introduced gun control and is agittating for the USA tyo do the same -

Brothers in arms, yes, but the US needs to get rid of its guns

^^ Only decent thing Howard did during his term.

I have to agree. Hated Howard but this was a good thing. For the most part. Note only the honest people handed in guns.

Another thread that gets gutted and ruined by you know who.
