In The News

Latest news - evil doer is awake and answering questions by writing, sporadic but it's looking lke he will survive and be capable of responding, whether he cooperates is a different matter.
Tell him he squashed his evil brother - in detail please:)

And buddy if they caught you doing this in your friggin culture they would cut off YOUR arms and legs and throw you to their dogs...........ooo could they arrange that take him to some Islamic country after trial for sentencing!???

Good points

BTW that seems like a very weird movie. What was it with the futuristic car and all?

Good points

They aren't good points.

In fact I think they are very very bad points.

Those points merely promote further violence, hatred, cruelty, misinformation and ignorance, which ironically are the very traits that inspired these misguided young men to target the innocent in the first place.

so many people are coming out of the woodwork with class photos, one girl went to the prom with him! I have never known such a prominent person to have this much background info... like "terrorists" are just supposed to be no-name no-face evil people.

the older one has a 3 year old daughter too I feel so sorry for her as she grows up

My comment was aimed at the last part of the post. If these guys had done that in a country with Middle Eastern laws they would have been punished very badly. And lost hands and stuff.

I am not sure if you have read a paper lately, but US relations with the majority of Middle Eastern countries is at an all time low. I would go as far to suggest if you shipped that boy off to Pakistan, Iran, Palestine, Iraq or Afghanistan he would be considered a national fucking hero. And as far as terrorism goes, most Muslim countries live with suicide bombers exploding on their street corners on a daily basis.

This is an awful situation, a heartbreaking situation and by calling for arms and legs to be cut off and dogs to feed on flesh is neither helpful nor comforting to me. I feel we need to understand why. What drove these boys to create their own mental jihad, why are so many Muslim people prepared to die for what they believe and kill the innocent in the process, what can we do to improve relations with the Middle East, and how do we learn from this and move forward. In the Western world we are fortunate to have a fair court system, this boy will pay with his life one way or the other. To me by shrieking for blood and revenge you just become part of the problem.

Charges Dropped Against Man in Ricin Letters Case

(TUPELO, Miss.) — Charges were dropped Tuesday against the Mississippi man accused of sending ricin-laced letters to President Barack Obama and others, while authorities searched at another man’s home in connection with the case.

The surprising move was announced in a brief document filed in federal court in Oxford hours after Paul Kevin Curtis was released from custody. The charges were dismissed without prejudice, which means they could be re-instated if prosecutors so choose.

Attorneys for Curtis have suggested he was framed, and an FBI agent testified in court this week that no evidence of ricin was found in searches of his home. At a news conference Tuesday, they declined to discuss whether they were told what new information the government had uncovered.
