There are a handful or so of us who were well into our 30s or older back then, but the majority of people were still at school. Farty types indeed, lol.

I was 4 turning 5 later that year. I don't remember watching any Big Brother until I was about 9 or 10 though.

I was 2 turning 3. I only tuned in to my first Big Brother season during BB08 when i was 9!

The years 2001-2006 were certainly golden years for Big Brother and reality television as a whole. Those years will be remembered fondly.

I was 21 at the time. I didn't really watch until the Anita eviction, and then I was pretty much hooked there after.

However I was traveling overseas from 2002-2004 and missed Seasons 2, 3, 4 & Celebrity.

I came back in 2005 just in time for Season 5 and I think I barely missed an iota of that season. Granted 2005 ended up being a year of my life I don't care to ever repeat (lack of employment and struggling to re-adjust to life in Australia), however in turn, I got to watch a lot of television.

After that I actually... got a life and while I probably watched seasons 6 fairly regularly, everything there after was almost just premiere and finale. Also the increased sanitization of Big Brother turned me off as well. Uplate, live cam/webfeeds and Uncut where major drawcards and without them it was really a case of 'ho hum'.

I was 19, just about 20 when it ended. Sara marie should have won. Everyone else was forgettable, apart from Blair I suppose but really I don't think of him as anything more as a cop on Neighbours these days.
