Housemate #4 - Ben

Maybe no truer words were said in jest when he was having his convo with Drew. Meet my wife Margie, here are my kids, I'm not gay,
I don't need glasses etc. He paused each time to come up with his next line, and when he said - this is my best role.................

Tonight with Drew and Tully we really saw the positive and the bad side of ben.


Him in the pool was really funny as a viewer.

Him just rambling on later when Drew and Tully were trying to have a conversation and upset. Really showed how annoying and how he lacks empathy or understand of human emotions in others.

Of course then based on clips and other stuff we've seen. He'd walk away from that feeling they were doing wrong to him by not engaging and embracing his taking crap.

Tully is crying he comes up when he's not needed and then just talks about how they are nice to him. That's really actually very disturbing behavior. No awareness of the situation and even the emotions of someone when they are crying in front of him. Talks about himself.


This is why I don't think he should win and he isn't a good person. Being innocent and vulnerable and what ever doesn't make you a good person. It's how you act to others. Not being mean doesn't mean you're being good and nice.

It wasn't shown on her eviction night, it was in her goodbye video that they showed the night after and Ben had a cry to Tim about it and said "She said mean things about me" :rolleyes:
 
well a lot seemed sad to see him go. or was that crying with glee that one of the ones they thought would win has gone
 
I found him funny last night, but I still don't know if I was laughing at 'him' or the character he's playing. Either way I was entertained.
 
I think he is playing a character but it's one that he adopted before entering the house. He likes having the attention on him and being made to feel 'special', so he does this by acting like a child and it works. People treat him like he's intellectually disabled.

Facebook friends doesn't equal real friends. It's must likely people that knew him for a heartbeat or knew him through a friend of a friends of a friend. People hoping for their own little 15mins of fame by claiming they know someone on the telly. Who knows if he is real or fake, whatever he is doing it seems to be winning over the people who vote and in the end that's what counts. I wonder if in this cast that in the end, even if he wins, if he will be someone people think of as a great housemate or that he just made it because people felt sorry for him.
 
Another faviourite HM is Ben, don't mind if he is playing a character or just being himself, he does it well.

LOL....this is Heidi we're talking about?
Possibly the most self absorbed person in there this year, wouldn't take what she said very seriously.
