I was going to get something like this

Given 98% of the time it would be a digital photo gallery, but I wanted to maybe jailbreak the interface and simplify it, give it a basic calendar which could sync to other devices, notes etc, basically really dumb it down haha

By the way, the attributes of the person who is ganged up on is usually perceived as annoying and unlikable by a majority, that is how the lone person became the target in the first place. How we respond to that behaviour as a pack is what determines whether the person is "bullied" or not.

The thing that saddened me most with this instant was the fact a good number of those posters were in fact middle aged women with misfits of their own, who would have been the first to call A Current Affair if their children were treated this way.

Anyway that was a zillion years ago, and Jordan has since cemented his place in this nuthouse, as well as made many forum friendships and no doubt taught himself and a number of us a lesson in basic humanity while doing it.

Being honest here, when that thread happened I was just happy to be included in what I perceived to be the cool group of posters and that is why I acted the way I did. Totally embarrassed by my behavior and I use that thread as an example to not be like that in real life. The funny thing is that thread is mirroring a situation at TAFE in my class. There is this girl who asks a lot of what appears to me and most other people to be pointless questions... Overtime the majority of the class are openly rolling eyes, groaning and other rude things when this girls asks questions. I feel really bad for her and have at every opportunity defended her and told people that it is rude to gang up on her like that. So that thread has tought me not to participate in gang mentality and to speak up where possible.

Dude there's person like that in every class, actually its usually the lecturer that tires of it quicker than the students:tongue:
As long as its just eye rolling and groans..hopefully...they'll get used to her, once everyone goes through stressful exams together it tends to bond people.

The thing is, that thread was not the start of it.

You can't go around and abuse people and annoy people and then be upset when they are all upset with you. That's what I mean by the group being created by him. In my mind, that's not bullying. It's not as though he was just annoying so a pack of people decided to gang up on him. He was directly confrontational, abusive and annoying to individuals and then he lumped them into a group by naming his blocked group together.


I'm not saying I dealt with it in the best way, and Jordan and I did work it through afterwards.

Anyway..

2 sides to every story :)
 
Hm. I don't know everyone's background for sure but actually only a couple of those posters were middle aged women with children? The majority were not middle aged women with children. Just sayin. ... Facts. Can be pesky.

I disagree with some of this but it's the past, so I am not bothered by it all anymore.

I do believe it is bullying though, as there were insults hurled at me in a group mentality, regardless of how the group was started.

Right now though, the past is the past. We have all changed and as someone mentioned, the true, better me has come out :) So I do prefer to stop discussing that topic of it is okay with all of you? :D

Now we are like, friends :happy: Totally embarrassed by my behaviour as well - don't worry about it, :D

In regards to the TAFE situation, I think that is very common among educational institutions. For questions to be pointless though, they sound like they have nothing to do with what is being studied.

There must be reason for her asking the questions though, so I feel sad for her.

I think that's par for course to get "those" people in the classroom. Somewhat ironically it was my psychology lectures that really brought out the crazies, OMG they were so annoying at times, but I didn't have much to do with them. There was also one girl who I briefly befriended who would converse with me really loudly throughout the lecture. Like yelling almost. It was extremely distracting but also embarrassing really as I got lumped in with the annoyed looks when I was not participating at all.
