So super proud of you!Great, I am really enjoying it. So far I've passed everything, we've done two exams, been assessed for BP, TPR, PPE, HH, I've learnt a lot. Got work placement coming up in the next few weeks. Overall I'm very happy that I've been give this opportunity by my brother..... But at the same time I am a little overwhelmed, because my course is a 6 months course condensed into 10 weeks + I have work as well, so far I am keeping with the work load and I have got a study that is very supportive of each other... I'm just trying right now to as organised as possible.
Also thinking about doing another course next year, either the mental health, drug and alcohol or the pathology course... So many options out there for me I kind of don't know where to go.
That is the difficult thing. The people who get bullied tend to be super annoying, it is clear to see why a pack mentality forms, doesn't make it right, but you can see how it happens. There is more to it than I originally posted, the bitching about her behind her back and the bitching openly in the same room as her so she is able to hear is really getting on my nerves. I guess I had forgotten what school could be like. I'm still going to do what I've been doing, I just feel bad for her...
Bitching behind someone's back is okay to me. What my haters think of me is none of my business. However to bitch in earshot is done to further seperate and disempower the person, and that is not okay. In fact that is super mean.
It is okay not to like people. In fact it is human nature. It is not okay to form a tribe which is built purely on excluding one lone dysfunction and annoying person.

What the f*&#?A trumpet island where all the trumpets can play without those pesky drums trying to overpower them.
A sleep island with loads of beds and drowsy conditions.

Are you on meds or just talking shit? Serious question.

Oh I always wanted a pool, but when we bought our house it didn't come with a pool, and never got around to installing one. Now they are so expensive to put an in ground in. Would love to see the finished product, sounds like it is going to look great, and will be such a peaceful place to hang out. So happy for you that life is going well for you.Good morning friend!
I have just awoken from a delicious sleep in.
Life is good! I can't even begin to tell you how much we are enjoying our new home. We had a leak in our pool (my haters will be pleased to know bad things happen to bad people), thankfully I shag a man who can fix anything, so after much leak hunting we found it, to be honest finding it was a miracle in itself! We are in the process of decking the pool and pergola area. We are going to have a light deck and a fairy light ridden pergola nestled in a garden bursting with colour. Hopefully it will look magical when finished. At the moment the pool is sitting in the middle of a paverless pit of sadness. Useless fun fact about me, I love growing things from nothing. You should see my 'erbs! They look so healthy, green and full, and don't get me started on my ferns!!!!!
My dogs are delicious. Frank brings us so much joy! He is a ball of mischief. Having two weeks off the second week of November, and I am really looking forward to it. We were meant to go away for two weeks, but my partner changed jobs which means he is just starting the accrual process.
My son turns 25 on Sunday so I am off to the plaza today to buy some presents. I am actually going to buy myself a giving birth day present.
Give me an update on you and yours!
P.s. Went to a documentation seminar, and turns out the words 'alert' 'compliant' 'X1 assist' 'urine malodorous' are a no no, there go my notes!!!!
My boy turned 21 in June, we had a dinner at this gorgeous Italian restaurant and invited family and his close friends. It was such a great evening, the food was delicious. His dad just sent him a card and some money a few weeks after his birthday

Im a terrible grower of herbs and plants, and a little lazy when it comes to planting and maintaining the garden, but I do love flowers and seeing them grow.
Glad your dogs are doing great together, my girl Rosie is fab. Never thought a dog would turn me to mush when it comes to animals now, but she did that to me. I love her so much. I did something I thought I would never ever do, and bought her a little tutu, for Halloween. I know I know, shes a big girl too so not sure how she is going to look. And I have never been one for Halloween, but I have a bucket with some lollipops in them for Saturday. Usually I turn all the lights out and hide.
Maybe I should of sent you a private message instead of a boring post, oh well
And lastly, my dad is sick again, in fact he has Cardiac failure, which is looking like progressing end stage. With that he had Lung CA last year (diagnosed and part of lung removed) as well as a rare blood disorder myelofibrosis. So all in all he isn't well, which make me sad. But he is being compliant atm and is alert!!!

Happy birthday to your boy, what lovely gifts did you buy for him?

Only person missing of worth was my dad who was in hosp at the time.
