Count me in too for wanting to see a photo. My fish won't allow me to dress them up.
What sort of fish do you have?
I have a marine tank but it's down to two fish at the moment, a tang (like Dory in the Nemo movies only he's a blue tang, mine's a sailfin) and a pearlscale angel.

Fish... now that is one pet I will never have. Am I the only one who always thinks the tank will break and there will be dying fish jumping around the floor? I asking hate aquariums and seafood restaurants and anywhere where there is a fish in a tank. Well obviously the aquarium especially.

Five goldfish. Varying colours and sizes. Most relaxing to watch them. They do clamour to the side of the tank when they see me and I can feel ten eyes boring into me when it's dinner time, which it is now, and I need to replace the filter wool or whatever it is.What sort of fish do you have?

I have goldfish in an outside pond, they are quite self-sufficient but they do get excited at dinner time.
@jessy_girl I had an aquarium disaster once. The tank split. Luckily we knew the local pet shop owner quite well and he let the fish board there until we got a new tank, it was horrendous though, water and glass and fish everywhere. Glad you weren't there!

The table my tank was on collapsed and there were fish flailing on my carpet. I rescued them then got as many towels as I could find to mop up the mess. Thankfully my tank is plastic. Didn't lose any fish either. Friends of mine have fish in a pond in their front garden and they've grown quite large. Someone in the neighbourhood as a joke put dishwashing liquid in the water as they have running water with it. Killed the fish of course and another time they saw a heron feeding itself. They also have attracted frogs. Love frogs.[DOUBLEPOST=1446101312][/DOUBLEPOST]
Today is my Sunday, but yes, I know what you mean.Does anyone absolutely hate Thursday? It's a tease of a day. You know tomorrow is the last day of work so Thursday just seems to drag on and on and on and on.

Oh, what assholes to do that to the pond water, I hate cruelty to animals (though maybe if they were kids they just didn't think).
My cats and fish co-exist peacefully, frogs are another matter though. There used to be frogs, but I think they get sick of being caught pretty quickly.

From what I gather, they didn't realise there were fish in there. They must have been under the water plants as it was at night. My friends put a sign on the fence saying that there were fish which had died. Someone had a conscience as they contributed to replacing the fish.Oh, what assholes to do that to the pond water, I hate cruelty to animals (though maybe if they were kids they just didn't think).

Ohhhh noooo that would be terrifying with the table. Awful with the dishwashing liquid though. I guess maybe they didn't know there were fish in there? I do struggle to tolerate animal cruelty though. Sadly the bird part is common though. I have seen a horrifying image of a bird carrying a big gold fish through the air. I think it was meant to be funny but for me... Scary!
You post was anything but boring. In fact I think you nailed the off topic criteria!Oh I always wanted a pool, but when we bought our house it didn't come with a pool, and never got around to installing one. Now they are so expensive to put an in ground in. Would love to see the finished product, sounds like it is going to look great, and will be such a peaceful place to hang out. So happy for you that life is going well for you.
My boy turned 21 in June, we had a dinner at this gorgeous Italian restaurant and invited family and his close friends. It was such a great evening, the food was delicious. His dad just sent him a card and some money a few weeks after his birthday. But he has great friends and family so that made up for the lack of thought from his dad. Only person missing of worth was my dad who was in hosp at the time.
Im a terrible grower of herbs and plants, and a little lazy when it comes to planting and maintaining the garden, but I do love flowers and seeing them grow.
Glad your dogs are doing great together, my girl Rosie is fab. Never thought a dog would turn me to mush when it comes to animals now, but she did that to me. I love her so much. I did something I thought I would never ever do, and bought her a little tutu, for Halloween. I know I know, shes a big girl too so not sure how she is going to look. And I have never been one for Halloween, but I have a bucket with some lollipops in them for Saturday. Usually I turn all the lights out and hide.
Maybe I should of sent you a private message instead of a boring post, oh well
And lastly, my dad is sick again, in fact he has Cardiac failure, which is looking like progressing end stage. With that he had Lung CA last year (diagnosed and part of lung removed) as well as a rare blood disorder myelofibrosis. So all in all he isn't well, which make me sad. But he is being compliant atm and is alert!!!
Happy birthday to your boy, what lovely gifts did you buy for him?
Sorry to hear about your poor old Da. I still miss mine. So glad to hear you have raised your sin to focus on what he's got, rather than what he hasn't. My son has not had contact with his father since he was 2, and I think because I never made it a Dr Phil type issue, he has never had an issue. I remember he came home from year one crying that the kids were all making Father's Day cards and gifts, and "I don't have one". I told him he has a Poppy who loves him more than anything or anyone and two uncles who adore him. He can either be happy for what he has in his life, or be sad for what he is missing - the choice is his, thankfully he chose happiness.
I bought myself a beautiful ring as a giving birthday present, and th be honest I have spoiled my son with waaaaaaay too much.
I am working all weekend so dinner will be an at home affair.
True story, as a boy, my son had two fish, Homer and Marge. One morning we woke up and Homer was missing. we searched and could not find him anywhere, so surmised that Marge ate him. Fast forward two years, we were moving house, we picked up his dresser drawers and oh my God, there was a dried out Homer, stuck fast to the wall!!!!!!Fish... now that is one pet I will never have. Hysteria ensued.[DOUBLEPOST=1446105484][/DOUBLEPOST]

Noooooooooo!
Holy crap. I will continue to be traumatised by this and the other stories. I'm glad to know my fear is not irrational and actually quite likely.
Did Homer leave a stench behind?
Columbo
Never again
I wonder when dogs will evolve to speak human? Surely it is not long now. I mean they can just like tell us when they want to go walkies, or when they are hungry or thirsty. Although speech may come with advanced brain power and they may try to overpower us and make us the dogs.
Hello you, hows things going up there in QLD? Are you still a big shot professional account?
Hello! Things are going well up here in
Your studies seem to be going well. Is it strange that I kinda miss studying? Hope the family is doing well.
