I don't know how they work either but i feel like I hear of them being used in similar circumstances to these.

The purchase ideally would be 100% an investment.

Hmm I've not really dabbled with anything like this. If you want to use it in the kitchen I would just get a dock and stand for it and place it on the bench. But I'm lazy nerd, not a handyman!

By the way, I disagree with your opinion of what happened in that thread. I think on the whole, people were honestly just baffled by Jordan announcing he had blocked us all. Sure that brought some laughs from a 'group' but we were only placed in a 'group' by Jordan himself lol!

I still found that hard to read. And even all this time later, it is still not lol worthy to me.

By the way, the attributes of the person who is ganged up on is usually perceived as annoying and unlikable by a majority, that is how the lone person became the target in the first place. How we respond to that behaviour as a pack is what determines whether the person is "bullied" or not.

The thing that saddened me most with this instant was the fact a good number of those posters were in fact middle aged women with misfits of their own, who would have been the first to call A Current Affair if their children were treated this way.

Anyway that was a zillion years ago, and Jordan has since cemented his place in this nuthouse, as well as made many forum friendships and no doubt taught himself and a number of us a lesson in basic humanity while doing it.

I think the evolution was in fact a group effort.

Feeling like you are being attacked by a group is never going to bring out the best in you, just as being the member of a group who is doing the attacking is never going to bring out the best in you.

Jordan taught many in here a valuable lesson. So well done to you, Jordan.

I don't disagree with this - it was interesting (for want of a better word) to see just how easy it can be to get caught up in that group mentality and to be involved in bullying. That might sound trite, but I really did find it interesting as I would not class myself as a "bully" (again, I probably want a different word here) yet there was I, and it made me reflect. Through teaching I've seen that literally every single child has the capacity to be a bully even if their nature doesn't reflect this, so this must also apply to adults. As with anything though, there are two sides to the story.

I wasn't necessarily referring to that thread specifically though and just Jordan overall, however yes that thread plays a part in my perception. I feel that the @JordanS that is here now is the "real" Jordan and beforehand he was just finding his feet here, so to speak.
