Eligibility to live work in Europe. Travelling without visas and Passports. Some ability (not sure exactly to what extent) to use/have portability in things like health insurance, unemployment benefits, pension etc. of course there is also a cost to all of that. They have to 'pay' brussels for those 'priveleges'
Cheers, yeah and the money used to pay for all that was claimed by a member of the leave side to be going to the NHS if the UK left the EU, now it turns out that that money was not as high as originally stated and it can't go to the NHS, think people are also pissed about that.

abso-fecking-lutely. Farage now says he 'made a mistake'. One on which millions of people based their Leave vote.

There is s petition w about 3 million and climbing to run the referendum again. 3 mill is approx 10% of the original turnout. (Im almost home so I will shut up as soon as I see my bed!)

And parliament has to consider a petition with anything over 100,000 signatories.

Agree, jessy. Like - whats the point any more. Espevially if London succedes!!

I am actually finally home now and the heatwave is over so I should hopefully be asleep Very Soon. So 'goodnight' (have a good day).

I think the Scottish Parliament is looking into whether they can veto it, hoping that it won't eventuate, so it's still a bit of a waiting game. Europe wants England out as possible but I don't think it will be that easy. Isn't the rule of thumb in these sorts of votes, if you aren't sure or don't know, vote for what's already in place?

It's going to bugger thing up a lot for people who travel a lot for work over Europe. I watched an hilarious video on facebook about leaving. A man and his girlfriend talking about it. I cannot believe the stuff she was coming out with and he knew she was super clueless and was asking her some questions that her answers to hear to be believed. According to her it all comes down to buying eggs.

Really?! Does it really mean that??! Huh! Because I didnt pick up on that as the meaning like AT ALL!!

all i know is that you are a mooseface. a mooseface who dances upon the shadows of the moon. crying out into the cold night sky as you travel along the dusty road. oh where is a mooseface? where is a mooseface indeed.

welcome to the greatest game show in the world mooooseluck! and welcome to our first contestabt mooseface!

great to be here, reepbot.

wonderful, wonderful. are you ready to play?

does candy like opera?

errrrrr......no?

exactly. so let's play.

why should candy like opera?

i don't know why are you asking so many questions.

because i am a dragon that is why.

well i am a moose. let us fight!

no, no fighttttting.

but bloodthirsty mooseface would not listen. her soul was thirsting for blood. she slayed the dragon was named champion of moosefaceville.

that was until she met a mooseface clone of herself on top of fairy floss mountain.

I haven't seen the petition young Reepbot. So I can not and do not know, but I thought not.

Europeans (living in England) were not (as a rule) able to vote. As I understand it. I think however Brits whoever/ wherever (in general, within 15 years) were able to.

You mean like this one?

I think to fully understand what is going on in the UK we all need to watch this video.

:laugh::laugh:

I have been doing a bit of reading today and now have a better understanding. I actually spoke at length with a guy who migrated here from the uk 4 years ago, and he said he had been wanting change since 2000. He said it was about the EU having too much power and dictating what should be law in the individual countries. He said the EU was super important after WWII to help unite the countries post war, and to help calm volatile situations, but Europe as a whole had outgrown the need to be governed by a union.

I don't think it's really about that though. The UK has only ever been half in, holding on to their precious Pound and imperial measurements like miles. There's a distinct snobbery here as the UK felt itself above the other EU nations, compounded more recently by immigration concerns (read: racism). While watching the referendum results come in, someone on the BBC noted "you don't call a referendum for something you don't want to change". David Cameron shot himself, the EU And possibly the UK Itself in the foot here. What an idiot. Even Abbott didn't do anything as bad as what Cameron has done here.
