When the giant slammed that guy against the wall holy moly.. epic. Then Mountain slammed that guys head into the wall. Two head splats in one episode. EPIC!!
Pretty high death toll this episode, lol.

Turn it up!
Well that was the worst kept secret in TV history. I do wonder though if it'll be the moment we all look back on as when the show may have jumped the shark.
My OH was very underwhelmed. Said it was all predictable. He reckons now it's off book it'll go downhill. I truly hope he is wrong.

Can some please provide a hot bath for Sansa.[DOUBLEPOST=1462230299][/DOUBLEPOST]How come Tyrion can talk to dragons?
Because he drinks & he knows things.

I think that scene would have felt a bit Skippy if Tyrion hadn't just said that they are smarter than humans. The dragons spoke Tyrion rather than vice versa. Can some please provide a hot bath for Sansa.[DOUBLEPOST=1462230299][/DOUBLEPOST]How come Tyrion can talk to dragons?

The producers have said they think they only have 10 episodes after the end of this season, so I feel we are going to be getting the wrapping up of story lines and focusing on the end goal this season. I think the end goal involves Jon and Dany, at least, and probably Tyrion. I'm hoping there will be all the remaining Stark's there and Davos as well.

Well, it was only predictable because it made all the sense in the world that he would be back. When Robb Stark died it made sense. When Ned Stark died it opened everything up. If Jon died, it would have killed two major storylines. The White Walker storyline relies almost completely on Jon and without Jon there is not payoff for the "Who are Jon's parents?" arc.

OMFG RIGHT???
I KNEW it.. yay Jon Snerrrrr is alive. But how will he be? I have a feeling that Mountain will change or something will happen to him after being brought alive. He looks dead still.. if you know what I mean? I wonder if something will happen to Jon down the track after being brought back from the dead? Oh I don't know.. I'm just happy he is back... for now.
God dammit Ramsey Bolton. Urgh he is so hideous. So evil. That was a god awful scene to watch. Truly horrific.
Thoros of Myr was mostly fine. Although he did say that each time he came back he came back a little less. But he did do it seven times.
These producers/writers have a massive hard-on for characters like Ramsay and Joffrey. They have so much screen time, its unbelievable.

Correction - I also meant Beric Dondarion. Thoros of Myr brought him back.

The parentage arc though is something which exists entriely off screen - think it's barely been mentioned in the show itself. I do just think for a franchise not afraid to kill of characters and indeed as a result shut down seemingly major storylines it is a bit of a cop-out - although it'll be interesting to see where it goes from here and if there is finally a point in Jon Snow.Well, it was only predictable because it made all the sense in the world that he would be back. I also said at the time of the finale last year I thought it was a mistake to end it with his death as it somewhat lessened the impact, and now he's been resurrected I agree with that. Yes, they've got months out of the "Is Jon Snow dead?" campaign but I think it would have been far more effective to kill him off early in this series and then resurrect him a few weeks later - I think both moments would have then been more shocking, and therefore more rewarding for the viewer.

[How come Tyrion can talk to dragons?
Just a thought.. maybe Tyrion is Targaryen & not a Lannister by blood? Aerys Targaryen was infatuated with Joanna Lannister (Tywin's wife) and maybe they DID sleep together. Maybe that's why Tyrion is able to talk to the dragons?
Or maybe not...
Lots of maybe's in this post!!

Yeah, there are a few moments throughout the series that refers to it. The build is much bigger in books, but now they are flashing back with Bran, they are ratcheting things up. Tower of Joy scene next week is actually exciting.
I feel like the producers spend too much time worrying about how much impact a characters death will have rather than the character itself or the plot. Barristan Selmy, Doran Martell, Quentyn Martell and Roose Bolton were all killed for max shock value. Character development and plot logic were put to the side. I know its tough with such a large cast, but still.
