Estelle appreacian thread (i can't spell)

This is what I wrote on the Ben/media appearances thread:


Does anyone want to interview him?

The mags, certainly the ConsMedia ones, still associated with Nine Ent, I doubt will touch him.

He had a character assassination edit (it was justified but he's now damaged goods) and THEN he attacked his co-star live on camera. Nobody wants to hire talent like that. Then his mother so so so stupidly insulted the production by saying that the way he's portrayed is just the way it was edited. Of course it is dumb dumb but it implied the production was biased and then he wins. So bite the hand that feeds. What an idiot!

About 1.5 million saw it so... that's it for his brand. TOAST.

He'll do youtube stuff with Stacey I imagine but nothing professional.

The marriage proposal was a bit of a political hijack (remember Free the Refugees) and networks don't like that. Anyhoo. I predict fizzling press and absolutely no offers. The gay press wasn't behind him either. I could only find a couple of stories very early on in August.

He'll handle the fans well and he'll outbitch the haters.

Stell on the other hand, she will be offered Zoo etc. but I hope she resists that and does Marie Clare type press instead. Ultimately, I would love the ABC to pick her up or a production company develops something with her to pitch to the ABC (I will put my thinking cap on). Absolutely perfect fit.

Ah she's using the same picture on twitter that I'm using here, I didn't know that. I don't really use twitter much but I'm sure she will get plenty of support on there.

That's true, I don't think I have really seen any articles about Ben on Samesame.
 
The one article I saw, even back then, had comments from the community that they didn't want to be represented by someone so nasty. That it reinforced stereotypes of the screaming nasty queen...

He just had a very subdued interview on Mornings. He did that very well but the damage is done mate...

No Estelle or Layla appearances. That's absolutely fine. Let people percolate on what they saw in the last few days.

I've just had a flick through the trashy Melbourne tabloid hun and I couldn't find a single article on the douche. lol
That's saying something given the hun makes up stories to fill their content quota and their standards aren't that high either. double lol
 
Yeh Ben speaks through most of that, and yet he has complained about people talking over him. Maybe people talk over him just so they can get a word in. There might be a dig at the end where he talks about men jumping on her, certainly wasn't necessary, might have just been clumsy. But his tone compared to the other 2 just sounds a bit too overconfident and even arrogant to me. Certainly very different people, but the Ben type probably appeals to me less.
 
Hope that goes viral. It just plays into the martyrdom of Estelle.

Stacey really is stupid. She's so angry angry angry that Estelle didn't ever stop being nice and descend to their level forcing them to look at themselves.Good over evil.
