Another excellent episode of Class tonight. With references to Doctor Who.
...I do have to say that although I did have a few reservations about 'Class' in the first few episodes about certain aspects of it... (including some of the cast members)... that the latest episode has finally won me over to it completely now... that was such a great episode... a credit to the writer of the episode for sure... this episode really fleshed out the characters to me... I can now now see a lot more clearly as to where they are all coming from...
...Fady Elsayed as 'Ram' was exceptional in this episode... he carried the episode on so many levels this time around... (for me anyway)... I've finally warmed a little to Sophie Hopkins as 'April' but am still a bit offset with Greg Austin as 'Charlie' still... I think that it's because he is an 'alien Prince' that annoys me for some reason... it makes me think of him as some sort of 'Fairytale' character for me and seems so out of character in a Whovian world... (I know... it's a silly bug-bear of mine and I'm sure that I'll get over it in time lol!)...
...one complaint though... not enough of my favourite character... Katherine Kelly as 'Miss Quill'... I so love her in this show... and wow!... she's no longer the subservient slave of Charlie!... god knows what is going to happen from her in future episodes!... I can't wait!... lol!... and I also must say... the special effects within the show are truly outstanding... not just in this episode but in all of them... it's a credit to the show itself...
...with that all being said... yes... I have finally been won over with the show at last!... I am now totally hooked and cannot wait to see what Miss Quill gets up to next lol!... you never know... I might even get to finally like Charlie within the near future at this rate lol!... cheers.
...both of those videos are so brilliant my friend... thankyou so much reepbot for putting them both up... cheers.

Glad you're enjoying it Mr Sticky! It's turning out much, much better than we had any reason to expect.
Can't wait for next episode, which is ALL Ms Quill, I don't know if the younger cast are in it at all.
I want to see Capaldi do a gothic type story.
...sorry that I've taken so long to reply to this reepbot but I'm full on repainting the inside rooms of our house at the moment... but yes I'd like to see Capaldi do some gothic type of episodes too... actually... I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of episodes with only him in the episode in some stories... he is so able to carry an entire show with only him in it mainly because he plays Doctor Who so deeply in character... it's as if he is so totally immersed in being The Doctor that he makes me feel like I could hear a knock on my front door and when I open it I will see The Doctor standing there and inviting me to take a twirl around in The Tardis lol!...
...I've mentioned on so many occasions that David Tennant is my all time favourite Doctor but Peter Capaldi is really nudging to take that throne with me...but I will stay loyal to David regardless... so to alleviate any pressure upon myself with my loyalties I've decided to not have just one favourite kind of Doctor... I've decided to create a few 'favourite Doctors' categories... (they appear in order from favourite down to lesser liked in each category)...
Most swashbuckling/funny/dashing and daring Doctors:
(1)David Tennant
(2) Matt Smith
Most serious/moody/dark and mysterious Doctors:
(1) Peter Capaldi
(2) William Hartnell
(3) Tom Baker
(4) Christopher Eccleston
(5) John Hurt
Most enigmatic/oddly interesting/quieter and many layered Doctors:
(1) Paul McGann
(2) Peter Davison
(3) Patrick Troughton
(4) Sylvestor McCoy
Most flambouyant/fancy nancey dancey and sometimes entertaining Doctor:
(1) Jon Pertwee
Most useless waste of space that should never EVER had been made a Doctor:
(1) Colin Baker
...but getting back to Capaldi... as with you I would like to see him do some more dark and intense gothic style episodes for sure... lets hope that now that The Moff has gone that the new writers put in a few of those episodes eh?... cheers.

...oh wow!... that will be a bloody fantabulous episode... she is the brightest shining star in that show for me as you all know so yeah... I can't wait either... cheers.

Hi Whovians, had to exile myself until I had watched episode 1, finally just before it was off iview, and watching no. 2 off BBC.
If anyone else needs to catch up like me, BBC has it for 10 months.
Life is hectic.
Class is fabulous, I love the cast, and it is produced beautifully of course.

What is thisThe Class show about?
A group of older school students at a school featured in Doctor Who, and their teacher, defend Earth against alien invaders.
One of the students is an alien prince, and the teacher is his mortal enemy (she's a different kind of alien but both look human now), forced to work together.
It's great!

What is thisThe Class show about?
Cole Hill Secondary/High School. Teenagers fighting aliens.
Do you watch Doctor Who @Rose711?
Coal Hill has DW historical resonance, appearing in the very first DW series, and then Clara & Pink worked there. Last companion Clara that is.
This is a Who spin off. There have been more - ie,
Sarah Jane Adventures, 3 series I think, aimed at younger kids, with the Doctor's esteemed companion from long ago in the lead, she is lovely and now deceased, loved this sweet series.
Torchwood, 5 series I think. This one is adults only, very sexy Captain Jack will flirt with anything, maybe even a lampost if he liked the look of it")
The Doctor is never allowed to appear in Torchwood because they did not want kids trying to watch it.

Didn't see Paddington movie myself, so had no idea peter is in it, and now filming no 2
And Hugh is in this new one
What is very INTERESTING about this?
Well, when anyone moans that lovely Peter is too old or whatever, Hugh is only 2 years younger, and still playing romantic leads!
I reckon he looks rougher than our lovely doctor. Hugh is 56, Peter is 58 - and far sexier I think.
