OOO that looks very cool, what a thoughtful hubbie.

And is that REAL money? Spendable, looked real. And all the Doctors are coming, very nice.

Do yourself a favour and check it out - it's the best show ever made for TV.

I wonder why you wouldn't take a look?

The newer series are like fabulous movies - every single episode, why are you missing out on that?

Edit - forgot why I came back. Wow, our new Doctor is a seriously talented man.

Check out how many movies & TV shows he's done, and quality stuff.

And - he won an OSCAR, for writing and directing a short film.
He's won bags full of awards.
This man is in demand - wonder how long he intends to be a Doctor?

I'm so happy about this. I don't even like Doctor Who, but I love The Thick Of It. I'll watch purely because of him.

Also, Peter Capaldi and Craig Ferguson are childhood mates, having played in a band together. I hope this means Dr Who appearances for Craig, Geoff and Secretariat!

The new Doctor is fabulous - must watch Craig Ferguson tonight, his mate is the Doctor!!!
He will go Doc Who nuts, he's already Doc Who nuts anyway, his punk buddy and he look like relatives - both witty sexy men.
He's so talented he is bound to be very, very good for our beloved DW.

Yes I was trying to imagine what he would look like as the doctor and I could only picture him wearing Tennant's blue suit. He has the same frame, like an older Tennant.

But in terms of personality I can't imagine him playing anything other than a rather bitter doctor, completely unlike Tennant and more in line with Eccleston when he was first introduced. He has the potential to be as bitter as Eccleston, as funny as Smith and as charming as Tennant. Fuck I'm getting myself all excited.
 
Don't forget to watch Craig Ferguson Tonight - this is the first show since the announcement, ie it's USA's Monday night show.

He's Doctor crazy already; now his punk band mate is the doctor he's gonna go oopy loopy - well that's what I imagine:)

Nothing, not a thing - it will come, I will keep watching, maybe with different time zones he didn't know yet.

Minnie Driver was good value as a guest, I love her why isn't she in more movies, she's really fun.
 
BBC Worldwide ANZ have announced a partnership with television network ABC to open a special Commemorative Exhibition at the ABC Ultimo Centre in Sydney, Australia. The free exhibition opens on Thursday 15th August until Friday 31st January 2014 (see below for opening times), and will have a variety of props on display from the series, including the Tenth Doctor’s costume and Astrid's costume from Voyage of the Damned (as played by national superstar Kylie Minogue), plus the Fourth Doctor's scarf, an original Dalek, an iconic TARDIS, Ood head, and Cybermat amongst the many other exhibits.

The ABC has been the home of Doctor Who in Australia for all of its record-breaking 50 year history. I am delighted to be partnering again as we offer fans a chance to celebrate this important anniversary and to experience some of the wonderful history of this iconic and classic - BBC series.

I believe that in the long history of the ABC, there has only ever been one program for which we believed the Australian rights must cover all time and space dimensions—and that is the magnificent Doctor Who.
