The Lodger..... Well that was an average episode. As others have said it was this series budget episode and was rather uuum OK in parts. I like how the Doctor tan transfer information to humans with a bang of the head...

As for the finale from what I have read here and there and everywhere there still are unanswered questions even when the fiinal credits roll So I do hope that they will be addressed as the next couple of series goes. Would be a shame if nothing left open from this series is addressed, and there is one very important thing I'd like answered... But don't want to spoil it, so I'll just shut up.

The final is really good, watched the last two episodes last night.

The final answers things, wraps up things but the plot still continues into the next season which starts filming next month. Don't know what to say, but you aren't left dissatisfied at all. Umm the plot next season is more into the background behind the plot of this season. If that makes sense? There's no cliff hanger or anything. This is from what i've read.

Don't want to have to wait until Christmas for more Doctor Who :(

SPOILER ANSWER : No, that's probably for next season.

Everything important for this season is wrapped up in a satisfying way, it's a good finale.

As long as it answers more questions than the finale of LOST did , then I'll be happy.

I found 'The Lodger' entertaining with a touch of mystery, (I did'nt read spoilers on this one)
The Doctor playing Soccer ! .... that's gotta be a first :)

I watched the -Confidential- special too, which revealed that Matt Smith has a talent for soccer.

Tonight- episode 12-"The Pandorica Opens"

I have'nt watched this yet but I've snuck a look at the spoilers and it sounds exciting ...

wiki trivia:
The Pandorica Opens was the twelfth episode of a series 5 two part story of the BBC Wales version of Doctor Who. Its narrative concluded in the following episode.

At the time of its release, it was unique amongst BBC Wales series finalés for a number of reasons. It was the first series-ender that had significant principal photography outside of Wales. It was also the first to have been the Doctor Who debut of its director and cinematographer. It was the first finalé to have used major guest actors — aside from companions — that had featured in previous single episodes of the series. Finally, it featured the largest number of individual alien species seen in a single episode of Doctor Who since the programme began in 1963.

I'm presuming that the "* spoilers *" in this thread name means we don't have to tip toe around re: talking about plots etc, and everyone realises that by reading here, things WILL be spoiled for them.

If I'm wrong in this, stop reading this message now.

Just watched it, soon figured it was going to be a "merlin imprisoned in the crystal" thing (why else would all the "spectators" be there and not zap him on sight ... twas obvious that the box wasn't about "what is in it" but rather "what WILL be in it"), but rather than have to wait another week for our ABC to show the second part, I grabbed "The Big Bang" from online and we've just finished watching that.

The story could have been better told in just one episode ... the second part starts off well but then drags.

Still, at least "River" gets to give a few more clues.

So, no more of Amy's crack, eh ?

It was wearing a bit thing anyway.

I thought you don't download TV shows as that's piracy?
