Dear Channel Nine...

...I dunno... all of these Channel 9 Reality shows that they have going...

(1) Married at first sight... shit!...
(2) The Farmer wants a Wife... shit!...
(3)The Block... shit!...
(4)Reno Rumble... shit!...
(5)Australia's Got Talent... shit!...
(6)The Voice... shit!...
(7)You're back in the room... (I'm calling it early)... most likely is going to be shit!...

...all of those shows running and they won't put Big Brother on TV?... what's wrong with them?... why can't they... oh wait!... I've just noticed a pattern in that list... any Reality Show they produce is total shit!... um... Channel 9... I've re-thought this out... please don't put Big Brother back on our screens... I implore you... please don't... (just out of curiosity... does anyone know as to when their rights to the show finish?)... cheers.
 
...on the 'Today Show' just a moment ago one of Channel 9's 'reporters' reported that Tara Brown was 'manhandled' and 'bundled into the car' by a policeman over in Lebanon... here are some images of what happened...

...so granted that she was in handcuffs but all the cops were doing were holding her arm to escort her to a waiting car and then just put his hand gently onto her head to stop her bumping her head on the top of the door frame as per usual procedure and she is even smiling during the whole exercise!... so she was 'manhandled' and 'bundled into the car' was she Channel 9 'reporter'?... 'manhandled' and 'bundled into the car' eh?... you pathetic twat!... anything to amp up the 'drama' eh?... she was 'ESCORTED' to the car and 'HELPED INTO THE CAR' you wanker!... don't try to make it out to be more dramatic than it actually is dickhead!...

...the total contempt that Channel 9 has for it's viewers spreads right through that Network even to the way that they report the News in my books... they treat us like imbeciles on all levels... do they forget that we are actually watching the News footage and are actually seeing for ourselves what is unfolding?... I saw no evidence of 'manhandling' and being 'bundled into the car' at all!...what a pathetic report that was by that dipshit...

...Channel 9 when are you going to stop treating us viewers as total smegheads and start treating us with respect instead of contempt FFS!... we have intelligence!... we also have a voice so how about listening to what we have to say for a change?... the attitude of your pathetic Channel sucks major big time and it needs to stop!... ...ha!... I was right eh?... it's such a shit show... Daryl will be dying inside when it's canned... his 'high status personality' ranking will be going to an all-time low after this show is dropped by Channel 9 methinks... he will slowly fade away after another couple of 'Hey Hey it's Saturday' revival shows and he probably now knows it I believe... he was funny in his day but his star is really fading away nowadays... cheers.

I bet that Karl Stiffynodick is spitting chunks that it's not him because this would've been his perfect opportunity to become a 'serious' journalist again in his eyes... he would've been revelling in all of the publicity that he would be recieving as a 'serious' journo being 'manhandled' and 'bundled into the car'... he would've been a 'martyr for free journalism' in his eyes... he rushed over to France and then Belgium when those bombings happened to try and regain his journalistic credibility but he was just another Reporter there in the end so that did nothing for him... what a loser lol!...

...on the 'Today Show' a few moments ago I just saw the ultimate sad pathetic way that Channel 9 are trying to pander to Karl Stiffynodick and his massive ego... the way that they are trying to give him some sort of 'journalistic credibility'... there they were showing their celebration of 'Historic News' of the last 40 or 50 years or whatever of the 'greatest Historic News items over that time'... there they were showing the Moon Landing... John F Kennedy's assassination... Martin Luther King... Princess Diana's Death... and then BAM!... right in the middle of it all... Karl Stiffynodick in France running for a few seconds when there was gun fire in France during it's recent bombings... Gough Whitlam's sacking... the America's Cup win... etc etc etc...

...that's right... in among all of those Historic momentous occasions of the last whatever years of the greatest achievements and miseries of Mankind with all of that old dated Historic News footage and completely out of context with the 'Historic News' of those years... completely sticking out of place was that brief 'News' clip of Stiffynodick running in a panic in France just a short while ago... 'News' that was only just a few months old!... it had NOTHING to do with the Historic Newsreels that were being shown as part of that 'celebration of Historic News in such and such years' or whatever whatsoever!...

Little sympathy on social media for freed 60 Minutes crew

Friends and media colleagues of the 60 Minutes crew freed from a Beirut jail have taken to social media to celebrate their sudden release overnight.

But the sympathy appears to stop there, with talkback callers and social media users overwhelmingly unhappy with the botched child recovery operation, the perceived conduct of 60 Minutes and the huge payment made by Channel Nine to secure the crew's release.

Many observers have gone further, calling the saga a new low for journalism and even wishing host Tara Brown and her three colleagues were left to languish in a Lebanese jail.


The crew spent two weeks in custody after being involved in an attempt to snatch mother Sally Faulkner's children off a Beirut street as part of a child custody recovery operation.

The childrens' father, Ali Elamine, agreed to drop charges against them but will proceed with charges against the child abduction agency crew members.

The Department of Foreign Affairs was first to tweet its relief on Wednesday night, Sydney time, following two weeks of delicate negotiations to secure the release of Brown, producer Stephen Rice, cameraman Benjamin Williamson, sound recordist David Ballment and mother Sally Faulkner.

Others have weighed in with a more measured approach.

University of Western Sydney criminologist Michael Salter said the issue of breaching custody orders, with children taken to a country that has no legal obligation to uphold them, should outweigh contempt for the media.

Prominent Lebanese-Australian lawyer Adam Houda said he was happy to see the Lebanese justice system show compassion to foreigners.

The same questions being asked by the public will be asked within the Nine Network in the coming days.

The company has indicated it will conduct an internal review into how the operation went so wrong.

Nine chief executive Hugh Marks insisted the team went into the operation with good intentions.

"It is important to reiterate that at no stage did anyone from Nine or 60 Minutes intend to act in any way that made them susceptible to charges that they breached the law or to become part of the story that is Sally's story," he said.

"But we did become part of the story and we shouldn't have."
