I only found that out recently. I wonder why radiologists have an image of being less than doctors?

4. How do you become a Radiographer?
A radiographer must become a graduate of a Medical Imaging Degree program. There are several courses throughout Australia available to prospective radiography students. The admission requirements vary between universities. Generally there are options available for school leavers, non-school leavers, mature students and overseas students.

All courses demand a high degree of academic study, as well as clinical expertise in routine and advanced medical imaging procedures. Most courses are three years in duration with a graduate needing to undertake one year of mentored clinical experience to complement their university studies (called an intern year). This intern year may vary in duration, structure and name depending on the State and university.

Priya has a Masters of Teaching from the Uni of South Australia. So you're saying a three year Medical Imaging Degree program to become a RadioGRAPHER not a RadioLOGIST is considered "more brainiac" than someone completing first their Uni degree and then their Masters.

Please don't tell my boss that or the extra $ we pay for people with their Masters - including myself - will be pissed away in favour of three year programs lol

David's sister confirmed he has two degrees/qualifications, one in Nursing and one in Radiology. More interesting is that he can deliver a baby. Not something you'd expect from such a woman hater. ;) It doesn't sound like he has a Masters degree, so in that regard Priya "wins". David's earning potential over a career would be much higher I'd imagine. Teachers aren't exactly rolling in it, they should get paid more for what they do.

An ex of mine was a radiographer in a public hospital and was called in one night about four times. He earned squillions for that. He told me that he could've retired at 40 at a pinch. He now works in the private sector. Teachers, nurses, emergency services (code red Victorian paramedics), it's the same old story of not getting parity at all.

David was the voice of reason when Ryan and Travis had that fight, and told the guys because they had been baiting Travis a few times.
David and Travis got closer when they were hotel guests...

He's got no Mexican in him that the country would like to claim. Just curious, do Australians see being of Mexican origin as a pejorative? I ask because every now and then I get an anti-Mexican vibe on the board. TIA

Teaching is a dummies degree, a masters in teaching is like being king of the dummies.
