Episode Day 46 (23/10/14) Nominations

4 intruders? did I miss something?

I saw the ad that said 4 new housemates, they werent described as intruders or humans. They palmed us off with 2 new housemates, once before this series, with the housemates being Ned & Kelly, but they must spend most of the week on a promotional tour. I hope they arent going to resurrect 4 Surleys.

They have as much right to be there as anyone else. What are Teflon (Ryan) Dave, Marina and Priya bringing to the house.
I was midway through posting that this BB mob have had a pretty cruisy run so far... time for a shake up!! Usually the 'deadwood' is gone by about the 6th eviction... This time, I feel like there are still 4 or 5 to GO!!

I'm so behind tonight, but I couldn't have said it better. I was staring open mouthed at the TV at the bullshit coming out of Cats mouth, I'm shocked that she believes that this could not be stopped?!?!? Both of them are idiots, they go and cry to BB and then have a pash. Fucking insensitive pricks. And there's something missing in Cat, I can't explain it but she's fucking psycho.

No not psycho, but mentally questionable. I've got a female friend, an identical twin like Cat who voiced an interesting theory. Her opinion is Cat is so intent on differentiating herself from her identical sister that it over rides her basic judgment. She too is a Big Brother watcher and sees elements of her twin sister in Cat. I can't quote what she said verbatim but it was along the lines of growing up and never being the singular, always being associated with a sibling despite the context.
It's amateur psychology but it gave me a sliver of insight I'd have otherwise looked. TBH Cats sister when interviewed was not exactly overwhelmingly complementary of Cat. In the letter writing task, it was interesting Cat chose to wrote to her. Cats sister is possibly the slightly smarter, slightly funnier, slightly more attractive twin. In that light, making such questionable decisions in regard to her personal life become more understandable. I believe decisions Cat makes in her own life involve a number of factors, as they do for all of us, but one of them is "What would SHE do?". That's not an issue for damn near all of the rest of us.
As for Lawson there is clearly some sort of emotional baggage associated with his mothers death. Maybe his outside girlfriend is reminding him of difficult period in his life he wants to leave behind? Maybe he has grown apart from his girlfriend but can't bring himself to break up with her because of how her and her family looked after him during a difficult time? Maybe Lawsons reactions around his mothers death have given him a false guilt complex?
Who fucken knows really? Judging from the footage I've seen, Lawson is a follower not a leader. Someone who's more eager to please than worrying about pleasing himself. The hotel task revealed Sam and Ryans thoughts about him. The guests group described him as a "water carrier" The footage being what it is, I'm yet to see him stop a housemate and disagree with them about a viewpoint.

Look how he didn't say how many of them could be having their last week. They know damn well, they don't plan on kicking off just 1. They'll change the rules for next week and get rid of 3.

I noticed that too, I think its likely to be another double.

I'm not surprised Skye nominated David as he has been the most vocal in pointing out her place in the game. She also thinks she is close to Priya and David pointed out Priya's strategy last week. I am surprised she didn't nominate Lawson, though. I guess she and Ryan will never see eye to eye.

The way the show has featured the Lawson Cat drama had me suss about whether they were building to have Candice make some sort of appearance on the show to add to the dram. I thought she would come on screen in the DR like they did with loved ones earlier in the Yes No task. But if what we are reading is true and Candice is entering the house then it will make for some great viewing. Of course that means, with Cat up for eviction they the producers hope she , or will manipulate the voting so she can survive eviction and we get a showdown of sorts.

I think Skye is getting cocky and she did look worried when her name was called for eviction this round. She is up against Leo and of course some other strong players. She wanted to see how she would go against David and Travis etc she might not like her chances as much now. I think she will scrap through. If the pattern of boy girl continues then Marina is the most likely to go. She hasn't had much screen time and doesn't contribute much. She is friends with Cat which could go against her too. Cat is in danger of going and if it's a double then she might be in trouble then.

I am voting for David and Priya and few votes for Leo just for tactical reasons as I don't think he can beat Skye or Trav but votes for him get rid of Marina and Cat
Amazed how Lawson has avoided nominations, he is like James Hird. the bad guy who caused all the trouble but still involved in the game. Cat seen as the enemy here. Ryan was never gonna be nominated this week as he is well liked in the house. Like Trevor in the first series cruised unnoticed early made friends and rode the wave and came out on top. I don't know if he could win it but Ryan is doing a lot more now and he is important in keeping Travis in check

I am hoping for David to get through to the last four he won't win if against Skye but hopeful to see a little more of him as the series goes on and that Skye gets evicted before him

Aisha shows maturity in her thinking at times, but like many girls, her emotional choices of picking blokes is a little off centre. She seemed concerned Travis would stray and clearly has trust issues there. Hence her strong opinions on cheating

Overall not a bad show.

Someone mentioned Beauty and The Geek in an earlier post. It seems the mansion there must have used the same set designers as there are identical pink flamingos in the garden of their house too.

I do hope Candice, Lawson's G.F. is one of the new housemates just to see the fireworks

I know. Cat is in the wrong but so is Lawson. Lawson is the one that has done the most wrong. Ffs. I'm sick of Cat getting the blame because she's the girl.

I think everyone agrees it is Lawson who is the cheater and we all blame him. But he is showing that he is struggling with it at least. (Way too much for my viewing pleasure.)

Cat on the other hand seems to have no problem with it other than it is making Lawson upset and is ruining their time together.

My guess is that it is the derogatory names she is being called which are more the issue then her getting the blame. Now that she is up it will be worse because people just wanted both them out but she is the only one who can be targeted.

I was really hoping Lawson would be up and out this week. Now if I want to see the end of "Clawson" I will have to hope Cat goes.

are you for real?

Spoilers - including who is nominated.

Tonight on Big Brother, the House has spoken and this week will see seven Housemates up for nomination.

Leo 9 Points
Priya 9 Points
Travis 7 Points
Skye 6 Points
Cat 5 Points
David 5 Points
Marina 5 Points

Then the Housemates watch Jason’s parting message, which leaves a few of them rattled, particularly Cat and Lawson. Jason said “it was them (Cat and Lawson) causing the most disharmony in the House.”

Is there another love triangle starting to emerge or is it just Marina ruffling some feathers. Leo and David discuss #Trasha and wonder how strong Aisha feelings really are for Travis.

Haha. Channel Nine's PR team called them "Trasha".

Is that seriously how they're trying to sell the show. If anyone wants evidence Channel 9 don't care it's right there - probably the least inspiring press release I've ever seen.

Everyone who has had the HOH super-power thus far has failed miserably at it. If Prisus was thinking properly last night, she should of given Lawson 6 and Cat 6. Anyone going up against those two at the mo, would scrape through in evictions substantially. Frustrating:confused:

So 4 new toys....
yay....
can we return the ones we had as they are broken or don't work right? Yeah? Cool.

Now...bring me my box of new toys now... wait...what? I have to wait until MONDAY??? But WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYY? That sucks. And no I WON'T go to my room. I hate you Big Brother.
*flounces off, slamming door*

That is one of the best "huffs" I have ever seen :)

But it is odd no females go near HIM.
And he has no clue about any of the females left in the house, said so himself, he has no no relationship with any of them.
It is not chill it is nothing

I think that living at home with so many females, he is bitter, because he always gets the cold water and the bathroom last.

To counter that though they've both probably screwed their chances of winning so keeping them in the house will give Prisus an easier path to victory in the final week.
