Episode Day 36 (13/10/14) Daily show and intruder

It must have been a slobbery kiss, because he wiped his lips with a towel afterwards????
He wiped off the kiss from the Sleeping Beauty too. I'm starting to think old Leo may just bat for the other team![DOUBLEPOST=1413235231][/DOUBLEPOST]
Yes, and tonight's show starts at 7.30pm. (7.30-9.oo.)
YAY!!!! Sleep at a decent hour!! :woot:

he said he has a bad temper and he didn't want to talk about it right away - kudos to him for that at least

Travis can't dictate WHEN its the right time for BOTH of them to talk about it - just because he says he won't be able to sleep unless they do talk - because Travis knew he'd taken it a step too far .. Ryan made an off the cuff comment that wasn't aimed directly at Travis but Travis' comeback went straight for the people he admits to knowing Ryan cares about the most knowing it would rile him up

Wasn't off the cuff as we know from when David was talking to Ryan et al explaining Travis' perspective he was describing it as. That they were hitting on him a bunch of times, that they were ganging up on him. So this context of then saying something over the line. His got a group of guys constantly pushing him and saying stuff to upset him.

so who was being the deliberate a$$hole in that situation?

Ryan, we didn't see a lot that happened, but even in the radio task he was taking pleasure in trying to upset and 'bait' Travis.

Travis was told now wasn't the right time and why but he had to keep going at it - he doesn't like to listen to other people - and doesn't consider what THEY need .. its all about what he wants and what he needs

Well that argument goes what ever way. Ryan makes it all about him, going to make Travis wait until he is ready. Despite the fact in other situations in the house he is constantly saying, including this episode that people should address problems here and there. So he's a hypocirt and Travis would see some importance on dealing with it sooner rather than later. As Ryan is a big bitch and is then going on saying shit about him constantly to his little buddies.

Ryan thinks he is better and wants to have control above all else. This is why he was so shitty and poisoned the atmosphere for the other staff in the hotel test.

Ryan has a snarky sense of humour and a short wick - he probably doesn't suffer fools gladly - and Travis has been p'ing him off a lot in this past week. He knew getting into it right away was not going to have a good result - he needed time to cool off. The other HM's (in and out of the house) don't seem to criticise him for being a sourpuss so I see that as a result of the edited version that BB pushes on us rather than the true representation of who he is - they all seem to say he's funny ...

He doesn't have a snarky sense of humor. His biggest laugh and go to comedy act is pretending to be a chicken. The comment he said to Travis was trying to wind Travis up. As has been observed by those in the house, they were hitting him again and again and Travis felt like he was being ganged up on. It's comedy in the realm of being absurd but there is no humorous intentions.

Otherwise in the house, I have not seen Ryan being dry or snarky for comedy reasons. He just says mean and nasty things. Makes snotty comments. Snarky comments because he is mean, short and abrasiveness, not because he is being funny. You may laugh at home in a bit of shock at how horrible the things he is saying is, but the context of where and who, they aren't jokes.

Kudos to Travis for at least trying to apologise but he kept saying "but you were baiting me" as if that was an excuse ... the bigger man would walk away in the first place Travis - and that would irk Ryan even more than your smarta$$ comments about his sister ...

It is a justification because the gang is going at him. They pushed him. He was in a no win situation. He sits there letting people gang up on him, then he made a through away non thought out response which seems to have crossed the line, even though it was a common next time thing someone would say. He could have easily said, 'ya mum' or something.

Then of course they use it to hang up on him either more. But look at what you said, you think it's fine for them to be ganging up on people and do so in a way that Travis should get up and leave the situations. Surely you're acknowledging they are fine in ganging up and bullying and then?

They should not be making people feel that way. Where they have to walk away from the group activities, or where they are upset, feeling picked on and lash out saying something as a response.

Lawson has been nothing but kindness and fun. Clearly some house mates are spreading unfounded rumours about Lawson so that he can be voted out as they see him a potential winner of Big Brother.

Lawson had every right to step in to defend his good mate Ryan from a very drunk Aisha who was trying to belittle and shame poor Ryan in front of the group. Aisha had no business to fight Travis' battles, he is capable enough to fight his own without the help of Aisha.

Also what disgusting behaviour has he done with Cat? Sure he's a cheater but so what? I'm pretty sure it's not against the Big Brother rules to cheat on your partner.
Bahhahahahahhaha hahahaha this comment I found funny

I like this new woman, Marina. I started to think I'd stumbled onto a Russian Bride ordering website or godknows, Fuckbook, the way some posters were going on about her being a few kgs too heavy for their liking. As if all people on the show are there for fantasy perusal. I really like her.

just watching it now, fell asleep last night lol

good on david standing in travie's corner and point out the boys are ganging up on travie

ryan and lawson are such spinner, they twist their words to shift the bad light on travie and aisha, super douche

Call me shallow, but Ryan has a gorgeous face, to my eyes anyway. Think he is far too smart for Trav in every way, pleased to see more of Ryan!

Love him or hate him, I admire Derryn Hinch for taking a stand and going to jail for something he believes in. Its a pity some of the younger folk dont pick up the baton too.
Well I don't. Naming people as child molesters who are later found by a court to be innocent is about the lowest thing a media personality can do to be honest. Hinch is the Senator Joe McCarthy of child abuse, and deserves to be remembered thus.

You guys aren't getting the show! Ryans move was a blatant PLAY. The show is still divided on hotel task lines - guest vs staff. It's why
the boys split into dave and trav and everyone else post conflict. Guys operate on the basis of power. He who approaches the other first
is lost. Travis was the first one to attempt to be concilatory, in his own unique way, during the game. Later he approached Ryan on the steps an was rebuked; later he ambushed Ryan in the bedroom and said his piece. By refusing to address the issue, Ryan is trying to assert his dominance.
Some of the psychological twists on the show have been brilliant. Not so tonight. The BBWS radio task was always going to feature Ryan and Travis after their spat, and was always going to be mediated by newcomer and potential fence sitter Leo. It was so transparent all sides saw straight through it. After filling god knows how many minutes of airtime, the talk back caller with the bet on an arm wrestle was so painfully obvious to be absurd. Ryan sidestepped around it by conceding before he'd tried; earlier Travis - taught an exercise in patience by being on hold for hours two weeks ago - refused to rise to any of Ryans baiting. Leo played his hand most painfully by trying to be even handed - mate, you don't have the luxury of time, pick a side or get swept aside.
Ryan has decided that camps have been formed, and the numbers favour his side. Big Brother is a numbers game, and Travis has beaten every evictee so far. He clearly has a body of support outside the house. Ryan has not faced eviction once. He is not stupid; he knows he's going to face an "underneath the radar" nomination soon. Squaring off against Travis is a calculated move,as he's trying to win housemate support in an argument and avoid nomination altogether.
The guy is not stupid, and he picked his moment well. Ryan wants to be the Alpha Male of a separate group, and smells blood.
Time will tell if he's right.

what is the spa-gate people are referring to that seem to incl sam/aisha or maybe travis, i totally missed that.

please fill me in. :)
