Episode Day 26 (3/10/14) Daily show

when was the last time we saw Ryan on our screens? was it at nominations? in the last 2 weeks the only times i can recall seeing him were when he did that nude frozen chicken thing & when he picked his nose at nominations. i am certain this guy comes & leaves the BB house at his own free will.
Instead of Where's Wally, maybe we should play Where's Steggles (Ryan).
He hardly appears on camera.

Finally caught up on the two recent daily shows: not bad, Big Brother!

Also, if you have time over the long weekend, you should check out this game! All-Seasons Housemate Tournament:

http://www.behindbigbrother.com/forums/threads/all-seasons-top-50-housemates-tournament.51977/

In ROUND ONE:
Every member has 50 points to distribute between no more and no less than 20 housemates of your choosing, taken from series 01 (2001) to series 10 (2013) - excluding the current 2014 season. You can distribute them in any way you wish, and could even vote strategically, like giving 19 housemates 1 point each and giving 31 points to 1 housemate.

We need more members to vote!

Are you talking about when they were doing those exercises on the mats and Lawson said that Leo 'Doesn't have a strong core.'?

Nah there was something when Leo was working out. It seemed like they were saying they don't or aren't into working out. Which clearly isn't true.

Okay so I just watched last night's episode and some points I noticed:

  • The episode was produced really well, thankfully. The editing was pretty good as opposed to previous eps this week and the structure of the day was kept in tact. A+
  • I can't believe I'm saying this but by the end of the episode I actually almost felt sorry for Ryan Leo a little bit. But I do agree with a few things that both Lisa and Priya mentioned at different points in the episode. Even before Lisa said it in the Diary Room, I also felt like there was something off about Leo. I'm not sure if it's the accent but there is/was definitely something about the way he talks that seems... fake? Like even when he says something as simple as "Oh yum" it almost sounds a bit scripted, to a degree? It's hard to explain, but I think Lisa put it best when she said she isn't sure whether she "buys what he's selling" yet. It could also be because he didn't enter the house on a very positive note either, because his entire on-stage chat and first night in the episode was DEFINITELY pre-planned, scripted and he was most likely given notes by the producers on how he should act. But in saying that, Priya (who is a goddamn mothereffing QUEEN) was so on point with her observations of Leo's character and the way others view him. So hopefully we start seeing him come into his own soon, which already seems to be happening. (P.S. Priya is a really great judge of character and she needs to befriend me NOW!)
  • I really do not like Skye. She is almost definitely falling into the exact same character mode that Ben did last year, and I honestly don't foresee her lasting in the house until the Finale if she keeps this up like many believe she will. Her charade is going to slowly unravel soon, much like Ben's did, and I can see her popularity decreasing a bit. I'm not denying that she might be pretty thick at times but I definitely feel a sense of acting when it comes to many things that Skye says and does. It's kinda forced and unnatural at times. I'm on to you gurrrrlll!!
  • Didn't see much of Travis in this episode, which might not be a good thing in terms of the voting for next week.
  • I didn't like that BB passed Skye on her croquembouche challenge because it certainly didn't look very finished to me.
  • Also, Jason seems taken by Leo. I think we might see them forming a similar alliance to what Jason had with Dion, especially if Leo does struggle to "find his group" in the house as discussed in the episode. Jason seems like the type of person who will always be a "fence sitter" among a large group of people, but will latch onto that one person he shares enough bond with as a support for him. To an extent, I can relate to Jason in that sense because from what I can gather I feel like he might find the friendship of an older, more masculine straight male comforting in a way. I don't believe there would be any "sexual" thoughts (for lack of a better term) going through Jason's mind about it either, I just think if somebody by the likes of Dion or Leo can befriend him so easily, it's obviously a perfect mix for a strong friendship to be formed - even if for just during their times in the house. I'm thinking we should keep an eye out for this - Leo really might replace Dion's role in that house, even for Jason.
  • Cat is starting to annoy me.
  • Sam also shits me.
  • That is all.

:)

Very good post

In Sky's defense, it was not her fault. Croquembouche is put together with melted sugar (toffee) not chocolate. I don't even know how she manage to make them stay that long with chocolate

You are so super super cute when you're not pissing and moaning!

Great post!

Just saw an ad for tomorrow night, and Dave is PISSED at someone. The ad implies it is Cat, but that is probably misleading.
