She became my favourite when I realized she didn't need a support team to survive and fight back in the house. That girl was fierce, had bite, and overall had every quality I loved about a woman. I called her the wild flower that could not be tamed... so you can imagine my disappointment when I realized you were not really her hahaha.

Sorry guys, I'll get us back on topic... I wonder why they don't want pics of David on fb. Like seriously whats the big deal?

I've never read any of Tahan's tweets, but I don't think we would write the same way whatsoever!

The producers probably have a beard shaving task in mind, and want to keep the surprise for that.
 
People! Can we please discuss your Tahan love elsewhere and not in the David Shrine?

Oh I hope he stays long enough to get to the shave the beard off stage. I merely posted the pic provided on this thread on the live thread and well the responses were hot and heavy so to speak haha. Can only imagine the response he will receive when it's done on the show.

Nah I agree partially. My opinion and her opinion are similar, but a little different.

She made it sound like David is being, I suppose, self centred and not really connecting with other people. That's what "living in a bubble means".

My opinion is that David just can't connect with them, because he's too different. It doesn't help that David is already being ostricised by other people, and not trying to get on the same level as him.

But I agree with Priya that she wouldn't change herself (this was towards the end of the conversation). Quite indicative of the self confidence between the two. Where Katie was like, "yeah I'd like to know what others think about me so I can change myself", whereas Priya is more like "I don't want to know because I wouldn't change myself anyway".

Personally, I'm in the middle. I'd like to know, but probably still wouldn't change myself.

@Tahan I think he probably felt like he had a captive audience at the dinner table. It's fairly conclusive that they all seem to have an issue with him so why not address it in a group forum where all family problems are hashed out :)
It didn't seem clear what he wanted to get out of the sesh but in the very least he's let the HMs know that he knows he's rubbing them up the wrong way. Whether that means he's going to stop remains to be seen.
He does have a some social awareness so without changing the person he is hopefully he'll just pair it back a bit.

He was expressing his concerns and trying to get his feelings across. I didn't understand the fuss made afterwards about speaking up with the whole group there. He was trying to say that due to a few silly things he said, that he feels every thing he does say now will be scrutinized and it has been and it is so noticeable too. It definitely needed to be addressed to the whole group. I actually thought he was being way too polite wuth some of the hms that interrupted him and spoke over him. He always allows people to speak and be heard in these situations (even the one with Lisa) and somehow doesn't get to say what he wants. I actually get frustrated for him

Not that we need any sibling rifts on a David appreciation thread but @MelKen, I don't think BB is trying to make him portray anything he isn't. David has a beard but he doesn't call himself a hipster. He's simply just a guy with a beard and yeah he wears buttoned up shirts and skinny jeans. We know he doesn't drink almond milk though so he can't be too hipster! I think the 'hipster' role was played up but beard or no beard, David is the same guy.

I'm certainly a hypocrite in that regard. I was just getting really into the David discussion and then all of sudden I was reading posts just about Tahan and it threw me lol :)
