Just a reminder - as I was reminded many times last season - this is an APPRECIATION thread.

If you'd like to discuss a HM in general, maybe go yonder before you get a slap on the e-wrists like I did. xo

This whole this is so blown out of proportion it's ridiculous. Who gives a shit if the boys were talking about the girls. Uh ... hello it's Big Brother, there is going to me a whole lot more of this. Travis said saggy, David said low...David's "insult" was kinder than Travis' and yet he's a golden boy to her, pffft. He did say midriff many times, and not boobs but again really, is this that big of a freaking deal. Gawd, they all need to get over themselves. It's so stupid. Lisa is so like Tully it's annoying as ____.

Now I will say David seems quite blunt with his comments and I truly think he does not realize "foot in mouth"...LOL. I'm really put off by Sam joining the "cool kids club" bashing of David. He can't say anything without it getting taken out of context now. It's really ridiculous. The cleaning thing, wtf? Really, I think he was trying to be kind and give advice on something he noticed that got someone else in trouble last year and nothing more than that.

Is he different, yes? Thank goodness...far more interesting than the cookie cutter clones. Is he blunt? Yes, makes the show quite entertaining. Is he kind and caring? Yes, I think so...he knew Lisa was upset one reason he gave her time to calm down. He tried to explain to her all of it and apologized for hurting her feelings, that was not his intent.

Give the guy a break for crying out loud...geesh. Nothing he's done is that horrible...saggy boobs? cleaning? Good lord.

Ok, off my soapbox now...ready for the bashing...hahahahahahaha

I haven't seen the latest episode :( I was chilling and dining out tonight and come home and stupid foxtel has no signal!!!! Gahh! And it sounds like I've missed some good drama too. I've read a few comments from the live thread and I feel sorry for David. I'm actually a little put off by the sudden group formation happening and the exclusion of certain hms. Of course I have no idea but that's how I have read some if these comments so far.

Hopefully the jumpin site will have the video up soon and I can get back to your post...

Unless you want to give me a run down of events haha

I'm gunna throw my 2 cent hypothesis in - I think David is actually quite sweet on Sandra, but he is sabotaging himself by not filtering through his brain what he says before he says it! I actually think that friendship could be a learning experience for them both should they survive it!

I wonder why Lisa's friend Rodney felt the last comment was necessary, given she's such a "boys' girl".

And as a woman who has survived domestic violence and rape, and studied feminism at uni (but not as a major), I think a few of the women and feminists (not always the same thing at all!) here have gotten a tad carried away about what this particular thread is regarding and should take the arguments elsewhere.

i think so too. he has a crush on sandra, and sandra is loving it going by their body language as a couple, and she is hating it going by her words. her inner goddess is confused lol
 
I will be voting for David and Sandra this week because I am certain that David will be voted off by the fellow housemates and I think he is one of the only people making the episodes interesting so far.

I think he has something against girls and farting.

Because the first time was yesterday's eps, where in response to Dion about you can't say so and so to a lady, David responds "a lady doesn't sit all day and fart".

But that shit with Lisa was gross though. I have a really big thing about not wanting people to fart in my face. Twice in my life I've had friends who, uh, find that shit funny, and basically told them to get fucked if they ever approach me with that shit.
 
What I don't get about David is that Gemma is his female equivalent.....they both have foot in mouth disease......so it's a bit pot, kettle, black for me.

Well, David's complaint to Gemma wasn't that she says rude things, it was that she kept complaining and whinging about not being placed where she wanted to, and he was basically like, well, if you think you're not ranked properly then fucking move!

Which I agree lol
