Bugger, missed it. Turned on 10 at 8:40 looking for this new promo haha.

Edit: If only we had a heads up what time or during what show a new promo would air! šŸ˜‹

Just saw the new ad, was able to get my camera out just in time to record, can't upload the video but here are some screenshots.
Voices of both Loen and Mel in it, Loen says "Get ready to meet an interesting group of Housemates". Mel "Live from Dreamward, Live Evictions, Live Nominations and Live Stream 24/7".

I kinda love theyā€™re branching out and using obscure different clips in the promos now too. They couldā€™ve easily put the well-known shots of the 2001 or 2002 HMs entering the house as a group (and hey, funnily enough, in a group of 12)ā€¦ but no, instead they went with shots of Pamela Anderson and Miriam. šŸ˜‚

I'm trying to figure out the 24/7 livestream aspect, will they utilise YouTube, their website, or a dedicated channel through the Ten website?

Just looked up the BB website and it still goes to their casting page.

I would imagine housemates would go into lockdown from Sat 1st Nov if not then, maybe Mon 3rd. Tickets still not on sale for the launch night, the livestream said they were going to put something up this week...

Regardless we have to be a week or so away from some juicy goss.

From what Iā€™ve gathered with the little info weā€™ve had to go off (whether it be in press releases, on the website, in the promo voiceovers and from what the BBAU social team have hinted at via YouTube) Iā€™m under the impression it will be streamed on the 10 website.

I think YouTube was / is a possibility, as they did mention they were using the marathons as a trial for what they were capable of doing with YTā€™s ability to stream. But at this stage Iā€™m almost certain itā€™ll end up being a 10 website exclusive, for now.

I have said it before but ill say it again. Seriously couldn't they have found a better voice then Leon again. He doesnt sound intimidating at all or even scary. I wish Nick from 04-07 seasons would come back

Even a random person from the production team with a striking voice wouldā€™ve been sufficient enough. The BB voice imo should never be done by a trained VO artist, it just makes the show feel too overly polished..
 
Hopefully ā€œinteresting housematesā€ means they are not going in a sexy singles direction which I doubt they will.

I think itā€™ll be ever more important this season to have at least 3 housemates over 30 at a minimum as Iā€™m gonna assume most of the viewers will be nostalgia viewers, especially with the way the promos are angled targeting the best moments rather than introducing the format to new viewers. I think the new audience will grow as the season continues, providing they can pull it off well.

Iā€™d be satisfied if they went in a direction of a 2003, 2004, 2007, 2013 or 2014 cast, providing they allow for older housemates and cultural diversity, lacking particularly in the 10 series. And tbh some housemates from channel 7 would have been great for this format.
Looking back at some channel 10 series, some housemates were really dull, so hopefully they can add 1 or 2 big personalities to spice things up, if you put too many you get a shitshow like 2008.
