So hilarious BB.
The problem is, you actually will need older people that can live in the house and not be boring or horrible to watch.
I think you can't do the current type of house and stick in a couple of 50 year olds. You need a slightly bigger spread so there's more of a chance it'll work.
You don't want old people are are boring. For reference see Terri. You also don't want arseholes that belittle the younger people and are horrible to them. For reference see Terrance.
You need people who can be accepting and live in the house. Not shy away from the younglings, but also be some what accepting and not trying to be parenting them.

1.They cant have too many strategists this year, Michael & Ben ruined the show last year, in the fact that they kicked out half the house before channel 9 did anything. We cant just have people like Zoe making it to the end again.
2. The house needs a mix of easy going people and genuinely funny people, not extrovert try-hard camera whores (Stacey). Ben was the only one who was half funny last year.
3. Where have all the pot stirrers gone? Ben (2003) Paul (2004) made some of the best BBTV of all the series. Last year need someone to just tell it how it was. Put Michael, Ben back in their box.
I know none of this will happen but I can always dream.

Are you kidding me, strategizing was all Michael talked about, and if you don't think the bitching was Ben's strategy to remove HM's then you're an idiot.
I was literally coming to post this.
I don't like this status. I don't like it at all. If they're going to make such a big deal about it, and make it a token thing again (aka, Terri and Terrence), I'm gonna be pissed. And that's exactly what it's looking like already.
Considering all these comments about looking for older "Aussies", you can basically guarantee they will put through every single older housemate who interests them even only slightly and pick the best 1 or 2 of the lot. We will end up with a few token old people this season I bet you and although I believe it to be better than not having any older people, it is still not ideal having only 1 or 2 older and the rest 20-32. Better to have a diverse mix of ages. Who knows though, maybe we will all get a pleasant surprise!
Not a surprise they are looking for older people though because Sonia Krueger has been pushing for it and Alex M will use it as a good tool to say that he cast every day people not super models.
