God they actually look quite crap.
Have the original streams been completely removed now or just hidden?

I tried a previous link for 2003 marathon part 1 but the stream recording is not available to play. I presume as individual episodes for later series go up that the stream recordings will gradually go away.

That’s an issue with YouTube. You can only rewind up to 12 hours and they tend to not archive any streams that run for longer than 12 hours. The marathons from the first couple of seasons ran for more than 12 hours. So they are lost.
Yeah. If only somebody had captured them in realtime when they were originally streamed…..

Watched the stream for 15 mins. This season was DOA. Terri definitely seems like Kyle Sandilands’s demographic as she mentioned on stage she listens to him every morning. She is an OLD looking 51 year old. Saxon definitely seems like he’d be a Trump supporter now. And that’s about all I want to see of BB08.

Have the fixed it? It's filling up my TV screen.Whatever they've done to get the stream going, the aspect ratio is slightly off. They've squished it to 1920x1052 instead of using the full frame, and then added 14px of black at the top and bottom.
Also I always thought the eviction voting process was unfair, because they got swayed by other HMs who voted before them. They should have used the system often employed by BBUK where they're each given a little whiteboard and write - in private - who they're voting for, and only reveal it when they announce their votes. But in this case I'm pretty sure the outcome would have been the same.

Then the racist grandma who voted for the only Asian, gets evicted and puts the only Asian in the Kombi. Ain't she wonderful.

Wow I haven’t had a chance to watch any, feels like I was destined not to see this stream. I guess I’ll pick up somewhere but almost wonder if I should even bother?
Tuned in and it happened to be the first FNL. What a hard watch.
FNL and Fitzy’s comments are difficult to stomach at the best of times, but it’s really something listening to his “jokes” about HMs like Rima, Travis and Bianca that just wouldn’t be anywhere near tolerated today. (“Rima looks like she’s just come out of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory.”) It’s awful that this sort of stuff was “accepted” back then.
And then to watch Rima suffer after breaking her leg… like, who thought putting her up there was going to end well? And Mike tells the audience she’s only “hurt her little toe, put some ice on it and she’ll be okay”.
I haven’t even re-watched the episodes before this yet. Do I even try? lol

Yeah I was thinking how much more, um, lightweight it sounds.
I watched the launch and first daily last night, and have just caught up as far as FNL on the live stream, and now a taking a break and will pick up daily eps again in a while. Least painful method (aside from skipping the whole season ofc).
If I had the opportunity to ask a producer one burning question about this season it’d be what the plan for that Memento Cabinet was… they make such a big deal about it at Launch, the HMs each put a special keepsake on a shelf and then it’s quite literally never mentioned ever again.

Watching the launch, I theorised that someone behind the scenes stole Saxon's gold chain and one of the girls' necklace, so they couldn't proceed with whatever they had planned. If he appears in the live chat can someone ask if he got it back? It was just a theory ofc.
