I think there was too much reliance on blokey blokes (a common theme throughout BBAU's history) and ocka chicks who did not deliver and overshadowed the rest. Maybe that's mostly who was applying to be on the show by the end.

Compare to BBUK where they usually only cast 2-3 straight young men maximum per season nowadays. Their purpose is usually to start a short-lived house romance or be eye candy and then they're booted.

Definitely preferred Kyle as host over Sonia. At least he's funny and added flavour to the show, unlike the mechanical robot Sonia. Kyle was such a lazy fuck taking so many sickies as host though but he's a loveable arsehole imo.

None of them beat Gretel the GOAT as host though of course.

FNL and Fitzy's & Mike's commentary had me in tears of laughter, as someone who enjoys dark and offensive humour. Millennials don't see the humour in it like us Zoomers do I guess, probably a generational thing.
