BBUK 2016 - Series discussion

I've pretty much accepted that cbb isn't about watching real celebrities; it's about watching has been, never were and the game hungry.

I liked Emma's questions about Alex were good - about why is noone calling him out for doing what they accuse Jason of - and Laura's ànswer was 'Àlex is really handsome...' Why didn't Evelyn's friend say ' Be yous3elf more, and yeah Alex is pretty, but he is boring as fuck, laughs about you behind your back and you deserve way better.'

So glad Andy was saved. It must be hell - but he probably has some insight now into Brexit and why it happened - Oh! Lots of people are idiots! I get it now. Just let him b3 the winner, please. Not Alex. Not fucking Sam! Jason d4opped the bball 10 yards out. Ev would be OK.
Totally agree. Let andy be the winner. He isn't kicking doors and breaking out whenever he is backed into a corner or confronted. He deals with it. Of course he is going to react to such things, but he approaches it rationally and overall is not an idiot.

After last episode, andy and Jayne were the only hm's I could tolerate. That moment in the garden when Jayne was uplifting andy was so good to watch. Andy handling himself in the so called court room was good viewing. He showed how stupid some of these hm's were and I enjoyed his dry wit which some are so clueless to not have picked up on. If he doesn't win I'll be annoyed for some reason.

SOMEBODY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DRAG JACKSON OUT OF THE HOUSE!

Biggest wanker.
I need a slap across the head because I have been finding him ok in these last few episodes. I think it's because of andy tbh. I rather enjoy his relationship with andy. And since andy is my favourite, anyone that makes andy's time fun is ok in my books. Jackson is more likeable around andy, but that's just my opinion. If Jackson wins I'll cry though and hate the public.

...today's show:... it looks like Hughie has pissed off a lot of people in the promos... they recap yesterday's pre-eviction show... Hughie and Jayne have an 'Abbott and Costello who's on first' routine going for a few minutes while squabbling... now Jackson is in the Diary Room... he said something... moving on... (I still can't get over the fact that the British people didn't vote that little pencil dick out!)... grrrrrrrr!... Hughie is still carrying on in the house about Jayne...

...now Jayne is talking to Andy about it... (wasn't he still asleep during their tiff?)... maybe I'm wrong?... Andy is now in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother... he is basically talking about Hughie being a 'petulant child at 22'... (I can't say that I disagree with him either to be honest)... anyhow... Andy can't wait to see the back of him... Hughie starts talking to Jayne and asks if she is alright... she says 'no!' and they then have it out until Jayne says that she is 'fine with it'... Jayne then asks everyone to clean up their all their own plates and shit so that one person just doesn't get lumbered with it... she then goes to the Diary Room and has a mini whinge with a triple half twist about the lack of hygiene in the house lol!... I so love Jayne!...

...they then show Laura's eviction and her preamble just before it... man!... she's got nice titties!;)... I'll give her that!... **Sticky gives himself an uppercut for being an old perv**... (but she has!):whistling:... they show the housemates out in the garden in the aftermath of Laura's eviction... Sam is in the Diary Room... he says something... (yes... you guessed it)... moving on... lol!...

...oh dear!... here we go... the housemates have been gathered into the loungeroom apparently for the "Big Brother's Awards" ceremony... >>>SNOOZEFEST ALERT!<<<... brace yourselves for what I am about to tell you folks!... are you all sitting down?... JASON SMILED AND THEN ACTUALLY LAUGHED!... no seriously he did!... you don't believe me?... well get a load of these and put it in your pipe and smoke it!... lol!... now watch this very carefully...

...THERE!... I proved it!!!!... lol!... they show Hughie 'accidentally' falling into the pool... that is so bloody fake!... they then show Jason singing that song and dancing during one of the compulsory tasks... next is Evelyn astride Alex while sitting on his lap... (for some reason she is embarrassed while watching it) lol!... they all vote to see who deserves the 'most embarrassing moment' award and Evelyn wins it over Hughie... Evelyn does a 'speech'...

...the next award is the 'best Diary Room rant'... they show Andy talking about Hughie first... they then show Jayne in one of her early meltdown rants... lol!... (she has to win this surely?)... then they show Hughie ranting about Jason when he called him 'a two-faced prick!'... (Jason did not look happy at all)... next was Evelyn ranting about Jackson... Jayne wins it of course lol!... Andy and Hughie start squabbling... the 'bitchiest moment' award is next... first... they show Laura harassing Sam for not saving her... then Jackson talking about Jason and Andy about having nominated him...

...AND THEN!... they FINALLY show them what Alex said to Jackson about Evelyn behind her back and laughing at her!... Alex is shitting his Reg Grundy's watching the playback... he is cringing big time lol!... (I've so been waiting for this moment!)... Jackson starts that demented sniveling screeching fake laugh of his in trying to make them think that's it's hilarious and Alex does a meek little smile and titter to make it out as a bit of fun too... NOBODY ELSE IN THE HOUSE IS EVEN SMILING!... especially Evelyn!... she gets up and says "okay!... right!... moving on!" and walks away... Alex looks like he has just been hit in the face with a fanny fart and Jackson doesn't know what to say at all but that stupid grin has left his face at least... here is the look on Alex's face when Evelyn got up and walked away...

View attachment 51674

...that flea-bitten fuckstick should be ashamed of himself too!... but he's not sitting there saying to himself... "I shouldn't have said that about Evelyn"... he's thinking... "there goes me winning this now!... all of that money is now gone!... how can I sweet talk my way out of this?"... that's all he's thinking about... he couldn't give a shit about Evelyn's feelings... just on how he can get THE PUBLIC back onside!... (I think that Big Brother did this to him on purpose to make sure that him or Jackson don't win this for sure to be completely honest)... and I'm so glad that they did too!... SUCKED IN YOU PAIR OF WHIMPY TWATS LOL!... well done Big Brother!... lol!...

...weasily little Jackson is now explaining himself to Andy after Andy asked him as to why he mentioned him in one of the videos... his explanation was cringefest city... there is no way that Jackson or Alex will win this now and they probably both well and truly know it too... hahahaha!... GREAT!!!!.. Karma is a bitch sometimes isn't it?... lol!... the winner of the 'bitchiest moment' award is Jackson... but the biggest loser in that segment was definitely Alex for sure... (it couldn't happen to a bigger arsehole could it?)...

...and now the 'who deserves to win the most and least' award...

Evelyn picks Hughie to win and Jackson the least deserving...
Jayne picks Andy to win and Alex the least...
Andy picks Jason to win and Hughie the least... (what he said about Jason was wonderful... and true in my opinion)...
Alex picks Andy to win and Jackson the least...
Sam picks Alex to win and Hughie the least...
Jackson picks Andy to win and Alex the least...
Hughie picks Sam to win and Alex the least...
Jason picks Andy to win and Hughie the least...

...Hughie starts an argument with Jason before he even sits down about what Jason just said about him... Jason lets Hughie know exactly what he thinks of him in an orderly civilised manner while Hughie tries to talk over him... Hughie just gets louder and louder and then Jason goes him verbally big time!... well said Jason!... Hughie just carries on louder and louder until it's a full blown argument until Jason ends the conversation... the best part of all of that was when Sam tried to butt in while Jason was talking... silly boy!... lol!... WELL SAID JASON!!!!...

...Jason is now in the Diary room having a nice calm chat with Big Brother... Jayne rightfully says to the rest of the housemates that they are always saying that Jason should "man up!... grow a pair of balls!" and she says "well... he finally did!"... lol!... I love you Jayne!... lololol!... Evelyn is now in the kitchen and is talking to the Zebra lol!... Jason is now trying to talk sense to Hughie while the others listen in out in the garden... Andy and Alex add their comments...

...Jackson now has 'advice' for Hughie while laying on the bed with him... how fucking laughable that is!... the most insecure brain addled sychophantic dumbed-arsed little ballbag in the house giving advice to a child-like Irishman with Tourettes?... lol!... that's one of the funniest moments that I've watched since the series began lol!... CLASSIC!... Andy is now in the Diary Room having a chat... I think that he is genuinely humbled by the award that they gave him the 'most deserving to win' award but feel that he went a tad bit overboard with the 'he appreciates the award over winning Big Brother' line... you over acted right there!... you went over the line with that one Andy my boy!... lol!... end of show... cheers.
Oh man am I going to need a slap across the head, but I have to say, I think jacksons advice was really good to Hughie. I didn't like Jason's superiority on what is the right way and wrong way to behave when discussing things with Hughie. We all have our own personalities, and just because he doesn't act the way Hughie does, doesn't mean that Hughie should change. I thought Jackson telling Hughie to not change depending on what others say was a good thing. That's just me though.

I'm appalled by the returning housemates attitude. I understand Big Brother is cruel, but that was repugnant. Andy has stepped so high in my books with his comeback to Lateysha. Calling her subjective and having the vocabulary of an acorn was classic. Not surprised that she didn't know what subjective means. I'm sick of hearing the word 'patronising'. It's part of the limited amount of words those fools know. It's like that word was implemented in the Big Brother dictionary. Sadly, Andy will never be understood by those guys. Just because he has an IQ above 50, he is pinpointed as a condescending game player. Which in reality, he is the only rational, sensible and mature housemate to take criticism and fully think before he speaks. A lot of the other housemates gob tends to run faster than their brains.
I hate hashtags but in this case, #TeamAndy. I know how it feels to be on the outer, always talked over and misunderstood. Just because Andy doesn't shout profanities during arguments and does not dumb himself down to fit the cool groups standards, he's considered sly.

Evelyn is really a mentally strong human being. She's the most mature one in that house, never has she had huge meltdowns for attention, or at all. She's kept her cool and took things on the chin, but I'm glad she let her emotions out. The house can really take you to boiling point. She doesn't deserve any of this. When she comes out, I hope she sees the positive comments about her, because there are a lot of people rooting for her. She just doesn't know it yet because gullible people are brainwashing her. Even though I am not a big fan of Jason, I agree with what Jackson said. At the end of the day, Ryan was the one in the bottom three, if Jason was truely hated he'd have been there too. It makes me sad seeing him miserable, especially when his face lit up when Charlie came in, only 5 seconds after she calls him a cunt.

Overall, I've changed my opinions on the housemates every day, but currently Andy and Evelyn are my favourite. Hughie does have good moments but he is really immature, argumentative, biased, inconsiderate and rude. Jason is fine, though currently he is going through so many worries, it isn't pleasant to watch. Alex, Jackson and Sam I couldn't care less if they were evicted. Just I hope to god they don't win it.

I agree on a certain aspect THOUGH Hughie's temper is really unnatural. He shouldn't fully change himself though he should take in consideration that his attitude isn't near normal. Sudden things tend to fire him up, like others opinions. I recommend he sees somebody for help, that isn't normal. The way Jackson's advice could be taken in a dangerous way is: Hughie is in denial about he's actions, he believes everything he does is right. Hughie being told to be himself will cause him to feel superior than others. Blatantly put himself on a pedestal, that also doesn't help considering the British public are cheering at his spiteful actions.
The thing I do agree with is that Jason shouldn't be the one to tell Hughie to change. He has very faults himself that if Hughie mimicked it'd cause so many problems. As Hughie isn't somebody to take criticism well, so isn't Jason.

EDIT: Oh also to add to my favourite housemates is Jayne. How did I forget her?

Awesome posts @Ezminus there are not enough like buttons for me to press on those two posts.

I was a little bit up and down with Andy at the start, He has had his moments but I think a win for Andy is a win for humanity:)

Evelyn great housemate, has not been overly disgusting, strong girl, good looker. I like her.

Hughie, just in very small doses for me thanks. His temper, his childish argumentative style. Decent guy but would be a punish to be around 24/7

Haha thank you, indeed. :)
I've been up and down with a lot of these housemates this year. Normally I'd gravitate to a few, but it seems like my opinions have been changing nonstop.

Crikey todays show was brutal but very entertaining. They play it rough on BB UK don't they.

If I never see stupid Lateysha again it will be too soon. Andy nailed her. Go Andy.

Charlie, what a piece of work she is. Lovely language from the pole dancer. Jason be glad to be rid of that.

Ryan an attention seeking bloody bore. No more Ryan, ever.

Georgina and Jackson, Awwwwww. Did he really ask her to marry him ? I see nothing but tears for Jackson in the future.

Would it be cruel if I made a snide comment about Jackson and the inside of a courthouse. ;)

My god...

You just knew shit was about to hit the fan with the few shots of Jayne being the only one to actually go into the jail and they didn't show any of the footage of Big Brother trying to get Hughie, Sam and Jackson in there.

I could not help but laugh at Andy's audible gasp and jaw drop when Charlie walked in and called Jason a cunt. Jason initially seemed to handle it quite well, but the confidence that she had when she told him he had fucked up royally caused things to go south. Breaking cameras, ripping a microphone from the Diary Room ceiling and breaking the diary room door... Why exactly was he not ejected? :|

Evelyn's meltdown made sense. Alex's mini-breakdown by realising that not being completely upfront with Evelyn had probably killed his game by making him look like the bad guy to the public (completely unaware that we've barely seen him and most people don't care about him at all). And then Andy decided to make a fuss too...

All four of these people can fuck off. Don't want to see any of them win.

I think because it was Jason telling him to change, that it bothered me. You've stated it better, but yeah the fact that he himself has faults and is telling Hughie what is wrong with him, it just sounds condescending. Hughie is one extreme, just lets it all explode in that moment, whereas Jason holds it all in and then kaboom he exploded the way he did in the recent epsiode and just was too aggressive for my liking. That's why I liked jacksons advice, because it wasn't so much that he was telling Hughie he is fine as he is, but that he shouldn't lose certain qualities about himself to suit others.

Well if it makes you feel better... When Jayne asked Jackson what was going through his mind when he made the decision to be rich and Jackson answers nothing, the image I had was of a juvenile unaware that he again broke the law and was facing court.

I am glad someone else had a similar image

I wondered the same thing about Jason not being removed. I don't care how upset and angry he was, that is not a way a grown man should behave. No one should carry on this way and not be removed. It will set a terrible precedent for future hm's as well.

...apparently this post tonight is 'over 10,000 characters long' so I guess that I'll have to break it down into parts 1 and 2?... lol!... so here is part 1...

...today's show:... **GROAN!**... in the opening promo it looks like it's the friggin' boring same old nasty bitter 'let's-bring-the-ex-housemates-into-the-house-to-have-their-say' segment again!... why the hell do they do this stupid idiotic shit?... it achieves nothing whatsoever and just upsets the remaining housemates and just ruins their last remaining days in the house... if it's to influence the voting for whatever reasons it never usually works anyway... people have by now already decided who they are voting for... having the bitter and twisted evicted loser housemates come in and do this shit is just a desperate attempt by Channel 5 to grab more sensational headlines... I friggin' hate that friggin' shit!............... I can't wait!...

...Evelyn is in the Diary Room while Jackson is teaching Andy how to make 'beatbox' shit with mouth sounds using their lips and stuff... Evelyn 'misses Laura big time' but she says that she still has Jayne to lean on... meanwhile Jayne is trying to talk sense to Hughie about his relationship with Andy (good luck with that Jayne lol!)... Andy is now in the Diary room and is 'sad'... he's missing his boyfriend... Evelyn/Sam and Hughie are talking about 'Napoleon Boneparte'... Hughie asks if there is a Country called 'Napolea'?... he then thinks that people in 'Nepal' are called 'Napoleons'... Sam says the word 'Naples' and then Hughie says that 'Naples' is a mountain and then Evelyn asks them if it's in America?... lol!... a clash of the mental midgets there methinks!... (Andy would have had a field there I reckon lol!...

...here we go... a task... they are in a 'Court Room'... they are all going to be put 'on trial' and 'witnesses' are going to come in and give 'evidence' against them... (this is where Big Brother sink to an all time low!... grrrrrrrrr!)... Andy is up first... he's being charged with being too 'patronising'... he asks Big Brother if she can even spell the word lol!... (brilliant!)... his defense was brilliant against the 'prosecutors' answers... oh shit!... they bring in Lateysha as a 'witness'... here we go... she starts trying to belittle him and didn't stand a chance lol!... why did they even bother?... seriously... WHY?... she looked as dumb as an Ox trying to outwit Andy lol!... Andy was found 'guilty' of being 'patronising' by Big Brother lol!...

...next up is Jason... he's charged with being a 'game player'... that's ridiculous... they are ALL 'game players' or they wouldn't be in the friggin' house FFS!... let me guess?... that pathetic twisted ex-hag Charlie will now come in and screech her filthy rejected stalker tirade like a demented Banshee at him for another desperately sought after 15 minutes of fame right?... (I'm so going to hate seeing the stupid bimbo do this to Jason)... Jackson's questions were shot down by Andy and his 'prosecution' fell like a limp dick and then Jackson felt like the twat that he is and got the shits lol!... so funny!... nobody had any idea what 'obfuscating' even meant when Andy put up his 'objection' lol!... funny as!... Jayne was hilarious!... oh fuck!... it's the biggest moronic imbecile on the planet Ryan!... he is now standing there blathering his drivel with that stupid big loud fucking mouth that moves at a hundred kilometres an hour.. I have no idea what shit dribbled out of the stinking putrid mouth whatsoever and don't even care either... fast forward... moving on... (at least it wasn't his ex-hag I guess)... that fuckstick Ryan finally leaves thank God!... what a twat!... Jason was found to be 'not guilty' by Big Brother... stick that up your buttonholes the other housemates!... it's now official!... Jason is not a 'game player!"...

...it's Jackson's turn now... he is charged with 'being a fuckwit'... um... not really... he was charged with 'contradicting himself'' (this is going to be good lol!)... Evelyn is the 'prosecutor'... she spoke for 2 seconds... then Jayne spoke for 2 seconds... aw hell!... that was an instant soft on... disappointment city or what?... damn!... I was hoping that he would be shredded alive!... oh crap!... his 'missus' Georgina is called in as a 'witness'... (I'm positive that the look on Jackson's face was "who the hell is Georgina?"... I swear!)... she walks in... they have a kiss and cuddle in the corner for a few seconds... her appearance was a total waste of time for whatever she said in my opinion... he was found 'guilty' of 'contradicting himself''... Evelyn is up next being charged with 'being a mug'... (Alex looks a tad bit uncomfortable' big time)... and now her 'witness'... Georgina walks back in and tells her what she looks like to the World in the way that she has been played by Alex!... meanwhile Alex is just sitting there like a rancid turd just shaking his head as if Georgina is telling her lies... Alex now looks like he is dreading his turn... Evelyn was found 'guilty' of 'being a mug'... Alex now looks shitty... Evelyn just stares at Alex steely-eyed... cheers.

...here's part 2... lol!...

...they don't even bother to show Alex's trial and he's found 'not guilty' for 'avoiding conflict for his own gain' because of Lateysha's 'expert witness' appearance... what a load of stinking bullshit that is!... what?... we don't even get to see that little maggot even squirm in the dock?... is he THAT FUCKING BORING that it doesn't warrant being shown?... what a load of twaddle!... apparently... 'despite Chelsea's damning testimony' Simple Sam was found 'not guilty' of 'being unable of not being able to take criticsm'... ha!... obviously it's because both him and Alex are as boring as batshit that they didn't show their 'trials' lol!... Hughie was found 'guilty' of 'being argumentitve'... **YAWN**... Ryan handcuffed himself to Hughie... **double YAWN**... moving on...

...Jayne is the final one 'on trial'... she's accused of being the 'most moanying housemate' in the house... Alex says something... moving on... Hughie says something... moving on part 2... oh fuck NO!... that ex-hag Charlie is coming in as Jayne's 'witness!'... Alex has a sort of 'smile' on his face... (I think that he is in shock)... (what's the bet that she turns on Jason at some time during this?)... Charlie looks straight at Jason and says "you fucking c**t!"... what kind of horrible vindictive nasty old sow is she?... she's there for JAYNE'S trial and says that to Jason!... he's sitting there totally stunned!... she then continues her tirade again after just a few words to Jayne... (Jackson buries his head into his cap because he's feeling so awkward about what is unfolding in front of him)... Big Brother actually tells Charlie to leave the 'Court Room' because she was being so nasty to Jason... that's how disgusting she was being... how Jason didn't just get up and walk out of the room I have no idea!... what a disgusting bitter woman she is!... I just feel so sorry for Jason... he's never been anything but polite and gentlemanly towards her and she treats him like that?... if I was Jason I would get a one way ticket to Australia to get away from her... and she wonders why he left her?... I don't!... I believe that all of the housemates were sitting there realising themselves as to why Jason has tried to leave her... they all probably now know that she is the worst type of 'a woman scorned' that there is after that pathetic exhibition... if nothing else... it has probably elevated him to an all time high for him in popularity now with a lot of the public now saying "poor Jason!"... after all of that Jayne was found to be 'guilty' by Big Brother... the 'guilty people' have to sit in the 'Jail' in the garden... **YAWN!**...

...Andy/Alex and Jason all go to the Diary Room and Jason wants to leave and looks like he's on the verge of crying... all of the rest of the housemates are feeling for the poor bugger and even they are thinking how nasty she was... now evelyn is starting to freak out because she feels that 'something is wrong'... back to Jason and Andy is trying to calm him down... Evelyn walks out of the Fire Exit...now Jason and Evelyn are both talking to Big Brother in the two Diary Rooms... Jayne tries to cheer up Andy in the garden now... bloody hell!... this is so intense tonight! lol!... Evelyn returns to the house after talking to Big Brother...phew!... this is all draining me!... lol!...

...Alex goes and sits on his own because he's feeling so sorry for himself pfffft!... Jason is still in the Diary Room... Jason finally returns to the house... Andy goes over to talk to him... now Jackson is dribbling some shit about Georgina being more precious to him than winning the money to Jason... what a load of codswallop!... that's all that Jason needs right now... him dribbling shit like that!... Andy is now in the Diary Room talking complete sense as usual lol!... his observations are always so brilliant lol!... and now Jackson and Sam are having a deep conversation.... hahahahahahahahahahaha!... oh!... sorry about that... I just couldn't help myself I'm afraid lol!... two mental midgets talking to each other is probably priceless but I'll never know... fast forward... moving on... Evelyn and Alex decide to 'talk it out'... **yawnfest alert folks!**... fast forward... moving on... end of show... cheers.

Most of them are at their best when they're talking with Andy. And being with Lateysha brings out their worst. Is sh3 being groomed for something? The few bots I saw this season all loved her and hated Ev and Andy. She and Ryàn and Charlie àll reminded us how much better the house is without them. Who else would improve the house by leaving it? Hughie definitely.

...^^^^... I so agree with everything that you have said here Winterbourne... Andy really does to deserve to win this but I feel that Channel 5 intend for Hughie to win it to be honest... I would so hate that... if I never see Lateysha/Charlie or Ryan again in my entire lifetime I will be a happy man... there's a rumour that Lateysha may be going into the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house... I hope to god not... I'm dreading it if she does... if Andy doesn't win this I would so love it for Jason or Jayne to win it instead... not Hughie and definitely not Jackson!... cheers.

My to win rankings are:

1. Andy
2. Evelyn
3. Jason (please stop psychologically torturing this man, BB)
4. Jayne

5. Jackson
6. Alex, Hughie, Sam (not OK at all with them winning.)

Three of the witnesses had a go at Jason. Are the audience so blood and 'drama' thirsty they only watch if someone is losing control? Or do the producers just think we are?

Blatantly put himself on a pedestal, that also doesn't help considering the British public are cheering at his spiteful actions.
The thing I do agree with is that Jason shouldn't be the one to tell Hughie to change. He has very faults himself that if Hughie mimicked it'd cause so many problems. As Hughie isn't somebody to take criticism well, so isn't Jason.

EDIT: Oh also to add to my favourite housemates is Jayne. How did I forget her?

I'm not sure what great faults Jason has, he's been targeted episode after episode ever since he did the mighty fine thing of evicting Lateysha and helping evict Ryan. He complained in the DR, we obviously only see an edit of exactly what is said there. Jayne hasn't been under pressure in recent weeks and so hasn't been breaking out recently. Everyone put on the show tends to be concerned about how they are viewed on the outside.

Much of the British public definitely doesn't like Hughie. I don't know whether they are the people who bother voting in this though, not that many vote these days.

CH5 definitely does go for the blood thirsty approach, but not all of their potential audience like that. And I think that's one of the explanations why the audience figures have plummeted over the years. It just feels purely like producer manipulation now.
