Where have you been?

Went up to Sydney for the day. My partner was going up for work. I could go, so why not? Went to the zoo, and took my camera gear. Walked around taking some pictures. Then did some other sightseeing before meeting up for an early dinner on the King Street Wharf. Was good but tiring. We were both so dead on the plane back.

Oooh, that phone message reminds me of the days you had to call the UK through the operator.
I spent nearly 2 hours redialing the old dial phone to book a call out on Christmas day to my family, and when the operator answered she said out of the blue, "country code number", which I hesitated over, and in a split second she hung up, and i spent another two hours trying to get another line out of australia to the UK to speak to my family.
How things have changed!
