Really isn't. From the HMs mentioning it though seems it was always planned to be this short rather than it being cut short because the season was shit. Essentially the producers pre-planned the series to be shit.

…geez it would be easy to fake your ‘fears’ in the induction interview… when it came to… ‘what is your greatest fear?’… I would write… “being totally smothered in oil by 50 naked women”… I think I’d make it ‘Uplate’ at least… cheers.

The problem I have with the fear tasks is that the reactions are almost always faked. So it’s not actually funny or engaging.
