Yeah wouldn't it just!! That's 3 bloody months away. I'll forgive them if they need to push it back so they can get live streaming set up for us!
I think it's time to give up on live streaming.
Bar a miracle, Channel 9, Endemol and AlexM seem pretty content making a loosely scripted soap opera as opposed to voyeuristic reality show.
I could make a more realistic and interesting show playing The Sims 4 (which I plan to do, can't wait for that game)

I know, a girl can dream though. I think Australia is at the point where reality TV is no longer reality. Which sucks. That's what everyone wants and it's totally ridiculous that they just wont give that to us.. Alas we still watch, but it will never be the same BB.
Sims 4 is definitely the better option for reality... Hell, the way they're going the original Sim City would be a better option lol

...sadly... never truer words said... unfortunately that's exactly what Big Brother has now become... oh to be able to go back to the first two seasons of Big Brother when the producers were still experimenting with the reality TV show formula... the openness and honesty of the editing process of back then... to see again the freedom that they allowed the housemates to freely say in it's entirety rather than the scripted and edited part conversations that we now see... the producers really do need to go back to basics and allow reality TV to be exactly that... to be exactly what it was... to be spontaneous and real...
...I was reading in one of the other threads about how the auditioning process is and as to how they go to such extreme lengths to weed out the genuine people from the budding 'fame whores' who want to be on Big Brother...my question is... why do they go to those extreme lengths to get 'genuine-as-they-are' housemates and then not allow them to be what they really are rather than edited pre-scripted storylined caricatures of themselves that we now see?... oh... that's right... because of ratings... I nearly forgot... (no I didn't)...
...for once I wish that they would stop creating storylines and let us see what these people are all about for ourselves... (yeah... dream on Sticky)... come on Big Brother... get back to basics... you never know... you may just have a hit TV show on your hands... don't become as scripted and as predictable as 'My Kitchen Rules'... please!... [rant over]... sorry to hijack the thread... carry on peoples... cheers.
I do wish they'd stop creating storylines too - If they go through such an indepth process to find people suited to be on TV SURELY these people would be entertaining enough without storylines?
Possibly booking an end of July trip to GC? That way if I don't catch the launch then perhaps I'd still catch some live show / eviction?

I just found a Youtube link of the show as well for anyone who is interested.
Thanks for this. Michael was the best that season. He got fucked by that task, Big Brother, and Gretel as being made out as one of the bad guys, which is a shame. I'm sure he views his time on the show as nothing but a terrible shit storm, which sucks. Dude deserved better.

Sims 2 > Sims 3 so so much. I doubt I will bother with Sims 4.

Nothing will ever trump the leap from TS1 to TS2. I can't believe I would stay up all night playing TS1 when I was a kid.
So, uh yes, about the launch date being leaked...

Yes, this makes me think it may not be starting until August at least......ugh, may as well stay off topic, we're not getting any more info between end of auditions and start of advertising for the season, bb hasn't even been in the "still to come" ch9 ads, so god knows when we'll next get anything.
With The X Factor starting aprox 3-4 weeks earlier channel Nine are almost certainly going to place Big Brother in August, most likely middle or late. They don't want the X Factor to steal its thunder much this year! Also Big Brother will have compete against The Big Adventure. It's survivor/amazing race, so I think It will have some better luck this year! Channel nine will be working hard on Strategy this season, they can see that Big Brother has potential.
I averaged out launch night ratings for 2012 and 2013 and with the right amount of advertising and a good scedual big brother could see launch ratings between 1.4-1.5 million. That's at best, but at worst is say 1.4-1.399. Let's hope that nine plan we'll!

In ten weeks it's about early august so if say it would be 1-2 weeks after that
