BB/CBB UK - Rewatch discussions

LOL - I'm famous! Don't remember that at all! What was her answer?
recap on this... Davina answered if she could go off script, it would be in her eviction interview, if Rex came out She'd really like to ask him 'Talk me through your hair, 'WHATS GOING ON WITH THE HAIR??' Haha.

Ok Im back to cap off BB9 and first update on CBB6 (I'm about half way in now). I went back and watched some more of the most relevant parts of the dailies, The Eviction/Big Mouth interviews, and skimmed through the rest of BBLB/Big Mouth for any interesting guests/segments from where it got choppy at Wk 5 right through the end and I'm fairly satisfied I've covered most of the salient points That I can move on for now haha.

Some More thoughts from the Season:
  • Watched the Time Task, the human clock part was interesting to think up what a good strategy would be, making sure you had your own time counting to 300 up until where it should be your time and then immediately 'dong' ing on your turn if someone before had overcounted.
  • Wk 11's Thriller task answered some questions about what might have happened if Mikey was on heaven's side of the Bunraku pupppet task. There were definitely some tensions between Rex/Nicole and Mikey but BB did reiterate that they'd be judged on both the final product and how they handled Mikey participating in as much capacity as he could by teaching him the moves.
  • Stuart even got to try it as well as some of the Tasks he wasn't in the house for on BBLB. He also had a bit of a crowd surfing faux pas moment at his eviction. They did a bit with Stuart actually in his post eviction week, Zezi took him to be in a bit part of Grease The Musical, and he was one of the interviewers asking Davina questions before the eviction (They changed it up a bit where sometimes Davina would come to the studio, or They'd send Nikki Graham or Keith Lemon one time instead of George/Zezi always doing it).
  • Mario was also back a lot of BBLB, The proposal was live on the Wk 12 sunday ep, where He did it from the backyeard through the windows. Nicole was also on that episode and Luke and Bex.
  • Wk 12's task was a two parter, they performed various Vegas show themed tasks (Rachel/Lisa Card flourishes, Kat/Sara Magic illusion, Mo/Rex Escapism from a Straitjacket, and Darnell & Mikey were HIRARIOUS as Elton and Kiki Dee singing 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' (Mario and Iain Lee even had a go of it on BBLB). They then had to feed all their coins through the poker machines in a time limit. Mo's cheating came from putting in more coins at one time than what was allowed.
  • The mystery of the Luxury bedroom being closed was solved. Once they hit the last 8, They started charging rent for the bedrooms on the shopping list, starting with Rex after they won the thriller task, they had enough for both, but Mo losing Wk 12 meant they were strapped for cash so opted for the cheaper B-Block room only for the final week.
  • They also let them watch an episode of BB in the lounge in the final week.

  • I don't know what that wiki article for Zezi was on about because She was still appearing on it right throughout the season (and in the reunion show), except took more of a VT 'on the road' with that weeks evictees doing various things than in the studio approach in the latter weeks.
  • Iain Lee was a regular guest with website findings (One time they found a place in the US selling 'Zorses' that Bex was going on about, another was 'Popnoodle' animations (theres a playlist on YT) 'Big Mo and Big Fro with the Flow' song was an entertaining recap). Grace Dent continued with her Critics Eyes segments.
  • They had a whole heap of ex-housemates back on, including Brian, Chanelle, Gerry, Samanda, Charley from BB8, Aisleyne, Glyn, Richard and Lea, Imogen from BB7, Makosi, Kemal, Anthony, Eugene from BB6, Jason, Michelle from BB5, Alex from BB3... to name a few.
  • Also some from Celebrity Seasons on BBLB and also some were also guests on Big Mouth like Brigitte Nielsen (CBB3), Jodi Marsh (CBB4), Dirk Benedict (CBB5) was on both in the final week.
  • Some familiar guests from past seasons such as Jenni Trent Hughes came on again, Junior Simpson, Darryn Lyons was on quite a few times, etc etc. Various psych segments; They even had Edele and Keavy from. B*witched in the Irish dancing task week, Cheeky Girls (they altered their lyrics to Cheeky Song on Big Mouth in Wk11 with Rickie & Melvin hosting, as did Jamelia with her song Superstar when she hosted in Week 8). Jay Sean was a guest on Luke's eviction episode of Big Mouth. Keith Lemon was on a couple times and chewed some scenery in the BBLB Reunion episode.
  • The rest of the big mouth presenters were: Bianca Gascoigne (wk 6), Michael McIntyre (7), Jamelia (8), Mat Horne & James Corden (9 - their intro gags were all a homage to ET), Keith Lemon (10), Rickie Haywood Williams & Melvin Odoom (11), Jack Whitehall returned for Wk 12 and unsucessfully tried to smuggle an audience member into camera run as a gag, He'll be doing the entire CBB6 season, and Davina did the Finale week.

    BBUK9 Overall Season Thoughts:
  • I thought section wise this season could be split into a few eras, Weeks 1-4 until Jen’s Eviction had the opening twist, The Ejections and Picture/Spitgate, Stuart’s arrival. Then we had kindof a blurred Wk 5/6 to 8/9 with Sara/Maysoon/Belinda settling in, Mario’s eviction/HoH/H&H starting through to Luke evicted, Nicole entering and H&H ending after Dale’s Eviction. Next you could call The Nicole Weeks 9-11 kindof their own section, then after she left Rex was by himself again and We had the last 2 weeks to the Finale where Sara and Lisa got a bit more of an Arc.
  • Heaven and Hell was was an interesting reuse of the split house concept used in BB3, which incorporated a version of HoH, which until Wk 12 had a no repeat winner component which made things a bit more interesting. It was also slightly different in theme than Rich/Poor again, such as Hell having to perform all the cooking tasks as this time the Kitchen was their side.
  • As mentioned Zezi was back for the BBLB Reunion special. She wasn't too bad at co-hosting although both her and George were a bit clunky at times to begin with, they got more into it as it went along I thought. By the end George was pulling a few more jokes and gags and stuff.
  • There were a few musical/performance based shopping tasks this season, from recreating the OkGO treadmill sequence, Irish Dancing, Thriller, to the Bunraku matrix style ping pong/table tennis act I thought was well done.
  • The return to Davina announcements from the studio also worked well. They relaxed it for the Finale. I also thought the BB6 style eviction studio stage was cool as I liked that one.

Up Next some last bits of Housemate Blurbs and getting back into CBB6. ;)

BBUK9 Some last Housemates blurbs Pt 1:
Note:
a lot of the what they did after I found in this Sun Article from 2023: https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/24310243/big-brother-where-are-series-nine-contestants-now/
  • Stephanie: She got a bit of the short end of the stick where the opening twist was concerned which was hard to overcome as I commented on at the beginning but also had some potential as we saw one of her other defining moments in her short stint in the house was sticking up for Bex against Alex during ‘Chipgate’. Since the show finished she apparently also made it to Judges houses on X Factor UK in 2012 as part of a Duo. Later moved to Australia.
  • Alexandra: Pretty volatile and like she was going to be this season’s answer to Charley. Got way too offended on Mohamed’s behalf and if she kept her mouth shut or unguarded herself iykwim and admit how her words may have come across, she was on her way out that week anyway, It would’ve been horrendous levels of booing I’d imagine. After the show she found herself in strife again the following year but was ultimately found not guilty of knife possession in court and has kept a low profile since.
  • Dennis: Similarly Picture gate wasn’t even his argument, he acted upon this misdirected paranoia it seemed regarding people being fence sitters or fake to his face, and Mohamed and the perceived homophobia tiff they had earlier in the week. There were times he seemed pretty level headed though apart of some more of his outrageous and/or coming across as bitchy moments, OTOH he could’ve been out soon enough as the ‘whisper club’ pretty much fell apart shortly after with Sylvia and Jen getting booted. After He was removed he’s also apparently kept a low profile.
  • Sylvia: I thought she at least had the self awareness of checking herself and how her association with Alex was making her look, then she got a. bit bored and started being chaotic when Stuart arrived and with some of the others as well (as Rex later started doing a little similarly shit stirring for the hell of it not caring because he’d be happy to go. It was a bit Makosi esque. According to The Sun Article I found, she appeared in the Reality/Musical show ’South Side Story on BBC3 in 2015.
  • Jennifer: Her intro she seemed pretty opinionated, and that flowed through a little into the house but also there was the thing with Dale that didnt really have sparks flying ain the house and was very understated. It appeared that she was pretty maturely self aware in a similar way that sylvia was in how her association to Alex and Dennis’ little club was making her come across, but then moments like the whole picture argument went awry and it looked sometimes like she was milking it to have Dale and Stuart in her corner. According to the article something about her(ex?) Husband having no idea she’d gone and left her baby in his care to be on the show or something? anyway another one that returned to the regular, At the finale Dale said that the media attention was a bit much for them and they weren’t dating anymore.
  • Mario: For a moment there it looked like he was the one out of the 4 in the opening twist that had the potential to cause the most friction, Also being a bit too ‘I’m a Facilitator’ minded and ‘Ive got a fanbase cause I was on Ant and Dec’ also smothering Mikey a bit. Then he seemed to settle in but his final week was I felt about the right timing to take him out because it freed up Lisa, Luke and Mikey who were a bit overshadowed by his personality and Arc in the house to come out on their own a bit more.As mentioned he popped up quite a bit on BBLB after in support of Lisa but apparently their marriage ended in 2013 and since then unlike her has remained out of the spotlight.
  • Belinda: Was pretty eccentric but got on everyones goat with the snoring, the jazz scatting and also the ‘nosey parker’ business. She was pretty entertaining. Apparently she since started a knit wear business.
  • Rebecca: Like Kat she came in super extra, but then became a little bit intimidated by Alex until she left, followed by standing up for herself but also getting really annoyed by Rex, Mo and Darnell in the middle there and being a bit messy. It would’ve been interesting to see if she’d stayed a little longer and also if Luke hadn’t also left directly after her. They dated for a good 18 months or so before splitting according to the article.
  • Maysoon: She went under the radar a bit compared to Belinda and Sara. She did have a good crack at the tasks and even the HoH tyre challenge before she walked. Still, If anything it may have allowed for the Nicole twist to be fully realised if they may have just floated the idea of having her be a guest appearance or having to schedule an extra double eviction (or they still might’ve went as was and had 6 in the finale) If Maysoon hadn’t walked.

BBUK9 Housemates blurbs Pt 2:
Note:
a lot of the what they did after I found in this Sun Article from 2023: https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/24310243/big-brother-where-are-series-nine-contestants-now/
  • Luke: He was super entertaining right at the start, however I think the tide turned a bit when he fell in with the Mario/Lisa crowd and also Bex to a degree when the divide started happening between B-Block, what was left of ‘The Whisper Club’ and Towards Rachel/Kat. He became much more of a gossip king then had the wind completely taken out of his sails when Rebecca got booted.

I think he could have possibly had a shot at Top 2 material maybe if he toned that down or forgot about the gossip side of the house and had he and Rebecca stayed longer and allowed that to develop more within the house YMMV. Anyways, as aforementioned the surprising relationship between the two lasted a while before they apparently stopped talking to each other for a long time until recently when Bex reached out to inform Luke the dog they shared had passed or something and they put some water under the bridge. Luke apparently also ran for local council or something a few years back. He had some funny moments with that accent of his and the constant OHWWE WEBECCA NOoOWWWE’ lol. Haha.
  • Dale: I thought he came out looking well despite all the reaction his Intro package lines about ‘nailing it’ got him (Didn’t I say right at the beginning I took note off that and it would be interesting to see if that was overinflated like Mikey from BB7’s was?) The Showmance with Jen went nowhere, (even while on the show, but even though he looked to be in her corner during ‘picturegate’ he still had the maturity to try and calm down Darnell and stuff like that and again in one of the later weeks when Darnell was getting heated. After Jen left, I thought he started really finding his own feet and putting himself forward for HoH and tasks, but then he started taking a leaf out of Rex’s playbook and tried to get himself nominated in the end there.

Tying in to something else I noticed with him (and to a lesser extent Stuart, which I’ll get to in a moment) was the seemingly lack of self confidence in himself and overthinking how he must be viewed to others kinda thing and that also seemed to have factored into his want to just be out before the end and not be seen as a ‘tosser’ and get his week with BBLb and all the rest of it.. He also struggled at times like Mo, to really articulate himself clearly but he had a good go. After the show things didn’t progress with Jen, he did a few modelling photoshoots and performances, and nowadays does DJ’ing.
  • Stuart: Another one with a bit of a complex about coming on the show for some self validation that he was a stand up guy. In the end, the isolation shock from being so involved in his daughter’s life to being away from her for so long really got to him and he’d had enough. Although he’d already done 7-8 weeks and it would’ve only been another 3-4, fair play to him I suppose it would be hard especially if you’ve gone from that much contact to none so you could kinda see where he was coming from. Plus he got a really fun post eviction week like interviewing Davina, being part of a musical and some BBLB Mini tasks etc, and he did mention he had a great time in the house, he wasn't really that desperate to go but was keen on it, kinda mixed.

That Eviction with Rachel was a bit close, so It could have been a bit of a game changer there if Stuart had put his all into being there and the public just didn’t take the mercy vote and giving him what he wanted into account perhaps? I thought it might have been that way the week before actually but Dale went. After the show according to the article he now is a yoga instructor and is on instagram.
  • Nicole: Both Nicole and Rex seemed to have a very volatile and dysfunctional relationship within the house, which might just be exacerbated by the closed environment, but at the same time, it seemed like it could be that way on the outside too. I agreed with one of the psychologists hat came on BBLB after she went in - at first it seemed like Rex was being a bit too smothering of her, but also there were definitely moments where Nicole was having a sulk and showing her age coming across a bit petulant where you found yourself understanding Rex’s POV a bit more. They had issues on both sides there.

She copped a bit of flack that made Davina address with her that Their clash with Mikey during the Thriller task may have factored into her hugely high Eviction percentage. I also was under the impression from the brief showing of her in the ‘Day in the life POV Vt from one of the earlier weeks on BBLB that she was a bit high maintenance and from a foreign country perhaps for some reason?

But she also had a pre entry lunch date VT at one of Rex’s Restaurants with Zezi on BBLB and upon entering the house upended that impression. Nevertheless, I can’t say I’m surprised that according to the article, they barely lasted about 6 months after the show before splitting. Nicoles most memorable moment might be being front and centre in the Thriller Task, which she did a good job of I thought.
  • Lisa: I thought she came across slightly more sympathetic than Mario did, and got to shine a bit more after he left. She had many funny stories, and the blank look facial expressions that Davina liked to mimic. She got along really well with Sara, and it was fitting Sara was probably one of the best matches she could have been up against in the prisoner’s dilemma %0K pound special. She went on to divorce Mario in 2013, then recently apparently did some work as an Amazon delivery driver and has also had some further Tv Appearances.
  • Mohamed: I feel that Mo may have benefitted from getting downtrodden by Alex and then the spitting incident early on (although the latter came really late in that week to effect the voting Sylvia was still a surefire boot that week, as He had the ‘Greedy Mo’ angle that also ran right through his time in the house. He surprised me a little making it as far as he did, Surviving along with the rest of the main B Block originals against Rebecca, although there were also some moments where he came off a bit selfish (such as using Rebecca’s last packet and the hoarding cider argument incident vs Nicole and Rex, which strained his friendship with the latter). He also had some hilarious moments though in defending himself and others and stuff like the chilli dildo comment and running out of the diary room. He like a few housemates this series, apparently later appeared on an episode of Judge Rinder.
  • Kathreya: HAPPY HAPPY HOUSE! She was so extra that at times it grated on some and they thought she was being fake (Luke’s opinion of her reminded me a little of similar dynamics seen in BB20 we just saw last year). She was a good shoulder to hear on for Darnell, Mo, etc and particularly she had a soft spot for Rex, being in his corner. Apparently she recently worked as a comedian in a cabaret type show.

Note:
a lot of the what they did after I found in this Sun Article from 2023: https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/24310243/big-brother-where-are-series-nine-contestants-now/

  • Darnell: He came across pretty well at the beginning I thought in expressing his opinions and stuff, but after being HoH in Week 6 and then starting crap with Rebecca around Wk 6, he became increasingly more paranoid and spouting some really convoluted reasonings about game plans and stuff. By the time the stuff with being cautioned about his behaviour towards Sara came about, he had pretty much done himself out of contention for the title I think, after previously being high up in the betting odds. The Week 7 Eviction could have been his exit perhaps if Rebecca wasn’t dragged up and it was between him and Mo. After the show it seems he’s gone and done some music producing, not surprising he had a talent for it, I found myself humming ‘Cookie Love’ from tme to time whilst watching this season.
  • Rex: Ended up being one of the integral characters this season and it was interesting to watch his arc. Similarly Early on I thought he was getting a bit of an unfair rap from the Luxury bedroom and a lot of public sentiment laid with B-Block, which I guess was in his favour at that point the public seemed to be on his side keeping him in as a show up to Jen’s side perhaps coming across really smug about their position in the house.

Although I could see glimpses of what they thought Rex was being arrogant or self absorbed (or just lacking emotional intelligence especially about how the picture thing would likely offend Jen), Still at that point I thought he could have been a lot more obnoxiously up himself about it than he was being IYKWIM. Like for example The POV day in the home life that was shown on BBLb about him pampering Nicole, taking her on Lunch dates at the restaurant with his dad, to some glitzy parties etc.But OTOH being a head chef also sounds like its a bit of a technical and demanding position at times, its not like its complete nepotism, as he put across he also worked hard to be where he is and why not be able to talk about the things he has kinda thing.

After that though where he seemed to NGAF and actively stirring for the sake of maybe getting put up, it also became somewhat blurred and perhaps a little ironic when he started prodding Rachel and challenging her about Her VT and the way she was conducting herself in the house, when it was becomijng hard to tell how much Rex himself was playing up the stirrer personality or how much it was actually more like what he’s like on the outside. Nicole coming in, then leaving also raised some interesting dynamics.

Finally when Nicole left and then Rex became caught up a bit in the Darnell/Sara warnings, He had a group convo with her and Mikey where he did kindof have a moment of self reflection I think as well. I knew Rachel was the winner, but up to the end I thought it might come down to another ‘Freenemies’ Final 2 situation kinda like Jason/Nadia for a moment, But it was Rachel/Mikey. After the show like aforementioned He and Nicole split and he’s continued with the restaurants.
  • Sara: She did really well for third place, may have been helped along a little in support by the whole Darnell thing and the way he was reacting towards her in the final 2 weeks, There was a lot of speculation about her flirtatious nature being mistaken for interest. Anyways, Her accent kindof came across very enthused a lot of the time, kinda like a mix between Sophie Monk and Thalia’s put on accent from last season haha. Apparently she may have returned to Australia at some point.
  • Michael: Another one that came into his own a bit more when Mario left, He annoyed and clashed with some over the course of the season, but gained little nomination points and was never up for the vote until the vote to win switch right at the end. He had many hilarious moments from the chilli’s, the elephants tale reading, and squirting the others with ‘mr quack quack’ as HoH to stop them napping, also his turn as Kiki Dee. He also had a good friendship with Rachel, which made for a nice Final 2 and it was a close vote for the win. After the show he returned to his work and also wrote a book.
  • Rachel: Was a good winner from the POV of being one of the most sympathetic housemates and a great supportive housemate Received many accusations of being boring and sitting on the fence, but I think she did have her moments where she held her own or joined in on the fun, just that she didn’t have many major confrontations outside of the diary room and stuff like that I guess. The Week she was HoH and drove the whole washing the dishes at her peril was one of her big moments. Interesting I think now theres been a winner from Wales, England, Scotland and Ireland in the Main series, maybe Northern Ireland is left for the main UK or Isle of Man? Anyways. After the show she had some kids and returned to teaching.

So That's BB9! As I mentioned, I'm about midway into CBB6, I'll post a bit of an update soon. :)

Thats probably the last cast where I somewhat remember all of them. It should have set the foundations for the show to evolve as viewers actually responded quite well to the divide and Head of House but sadly as is so often the case in BBUK history the following series they basically start from scratch again.

CBBUK6 (Jan 2009) Started.

I'll split the first week recap into 2 parts:
CBBUK6 Wk 1 (Part 1 up through Day 5 Special):

  • Launch: House has some minor changes, mostly as per Celeb series in January its been a bit Wintrified in the Garden, Theres no Pool (not even a hot tub this time, although I guess the Bathroom bath seems slightly more expanded to compensate I suppose). The Jail is enlarged, Heated and moved aross to where the outdoor shower area for Hell was in BB9. Theres a Cubed heated sitting area too.
  • There is four bedrooms, B-Block has a ‘Private Bedroom’ and the HoH has their private quarter off the walk in wardrobe in Luxury bedroom. The B-Block beds are doubles and thicker as well.
  • LaToya Jackson is in first, reading the laminate that tells all housemates to slect their beds by placing their bag there. Surprisingly, BBlock is open, and She bag’s the Private Bedroom. I’m guessing theres more to it than that and it could be likely that was part of her contract that she had dibs on a private room in coming on the show.
  • There’s q few singers on the show this time, Coolio, Mutya from Sugababes and also with a couple solo tracks to her name at the time, Ben Adams from A1, Michelle Heaton from Liberty X (has been on BBLB etc a couple times over the series).
  • Verne Troyer (Mini Me) has his own special ground level entrance to the house and through the Diary room to help him with the stairs. He also gets his own little scooter in the house.
  • Apart from Us getting another Jackson so soon after the last Celeb series, the casting of Tommy Sheridan and Lucy Pinder feels a little bit reminicient of CBB4 with Galloway and Marsh. We’ll see how these compare and contrast.
  • Tina Malone seems like she’ll be a laugh, She’s been in the UK version of Shameless. Terry Christian and Ulrika Jonsson I’m not sure I’f im that familiar with either (Terry had a show called ‘The Word’ in the 90’s? it seems and Ulrika was a weather presenter but later said she hosted Eurovision and Gladiators? Interesting. Similarly Mutya, Ben and Michelle I know of from their bands but It’ll be interesting to see a bit of of them as people kinda thing.
  • So that’s 11. The Luxury bedroom is opened up and Terry is the last without a bed. It’s revealed he is the first HoH. There’s a special on Tuesday.

  • The twist first part is Terry having to nominate a housemate in each of 3 mini tasks during the first few days. First is Ulrika for ‘Biggest Ego’, after a task where they just slapped on their names in alphabetical order for starring credits at the end of the episode, filmed by Terry with a handheld camera. They lose a token because Latoya briefly entered Terry’s bedroom to film hers.
  • Second was Lucy as ‘Least Talented’ after a showcase where they all performed a bit of what they are known for. Lucy rattles off some political opinions iirc along with her story about getting found by a photographer, but it comes off a little awkward next to Tommy’s impassioned speech. Interesting song choices by Ben (Not Caught In The Middle but he did ‘Same Old Brand New You’) and Mutya (‘Hole In The Head’ which I guess has the first verse and chrus led by her rather than some others like Round Round/Push The Button or maybe Real Girl/Song For Mutya solo). While Coolio of course did Gangsta’s Paradise and Michelle did Liberty X’s big one Just A Little. LaToya apparently did a cover of MJ Wanna Be Starting Something.

  • Some Friction developing between Tina bitching to Ulrika about Coolio’s antics Also Michelle and Coolio when he laughs at Michelle’s innocent suggestion that Tina’s out fit for her and Verne’s Romeo/Juliet scene looks like ’The princess from Shrek’ which comes off as an unintentional backhanded compliment kinda thing as she didn’t mean the ogre version but the style - Ben has to explain it to Tina.
  • Later Coolio is shit stirring Ben and Michelle saying they’ve known each other a while and never hooked up, Michelle tells him to cut it out she has a boyfriend on the outside and saying stuff like that is going to get her into trouble (apparently, I picked up from the first Big Mouth Episode was that there were some cheating scandal rumours as to why her marriage to Andy Scott Lee (I had to look up at first cause I though it was ‘Ant’ from Ant & Dec for a minute but oh ok so Lisa Scott Lee out of Steps Brothers had a fleeting boy band? Interesting) busted up. Ah, Backstory. She later comes out of the diary room a bit teary and is noticed by Terry, Coolio and Tommy.
  • The last nominations task for Terry is to pick 3 housemates to come to the diary room individually and be asked about the house including about Terry, which he later watches in his bedroom to decide to nominate for ‘Least Integrity’. He picks Mutya, Michelle and Ben, and nominates Ben out of that.

  • They get one of those ‘impersonate each other’ mini tasks. Tommy gets right into character as the meek La Toya (although she’s been doing well socialising whilst in the house, some interesting stories she was telling Tommy about JW’s and also Ben and Tina about her abusive forced marriage over the course of the week). Coolio is Verne, riding around on the scooter. This task wins Terry a private Asian meal in the diary room.
  • Coolio talks about the recent Obama election, Verne discusses Heath Ledger and how they were able to finish making the Doctor Parnassus movie.
  • The day of the special, Terry gets a ‘King for the Day’ task where he has to be ferried around (Verne comes in with the scooter) and fed and pampered. LaToya gets a Jester suit to wear to make him laugh, and the others give him a massage.

  • The Special show is that The 3 nominees go to the room behind Diary room and it comes out why they were nominated, The others vote with cards face to face on which they want to save from the nominees, They vote Ben, leaving Ulrika and Lucy. Ulrika is a bit confused that Terry chose her for most Ego as in that task she was the one taking the ‘I Don’t care if I get a credit’ approach, but whatever.
  • They have a party with some music, Tommy attempts some dancing and Michelle joins in, but later bizarrely suggests Michelle should be careful dancing with him as to how it might look like theres something going on. Michelle and Ben dismiss it as Tommy being silly.

  • Jack Whitehall is doing the whole season of Big Mouth, Mat Horne was on the first episode. Set is pretty much same as BB9.
  • BBLB Set has changed slightly to a Blue theme instead of Orange. A big thing this season is that they’ve enlisted Michael Barrymore to be a roving reporter this season (Nikki Graham still doing a few VT’s). ‘Dr Funke’ is one of the main BB Psych guests that has been on. Housemate ringtones are back, and theres also a running comp to win a visit to the Diary Room Chair, they have heats between two of first a quiz, then a challenge portion. The first one was recreating Tina’s Romeo/Juliet bit vs Singing Mutya’s Performance. Theres a ‘Big Answer’ section and also some of the F&F running scoreboard for a quiz about the housemates.

CBBUK6 Wk 1 (Part 2 up to Sunday BBLB):
  • The shopping task begins and its ‘Celebrity Lifestyles’ Verne & Ulrika have to perform ‘Endless Love’ to get a certain amount of Views on the Big Brother Website. Mutya and Terry dress in Special hoodies and have to ‘CHEST KNEE HAWK’ Pose at the Chesney Hawke shrine whenever ‘One And Only’ starts playing to when it plays again. They also have to pass a ‘what would Chesney do?’ Diary room quiz.
  • Ben & Michelle have to be a ‘celebrity couple’ and BB gives them several baby dolls they’ve ‘adopted’ (which they’ve named ‘Table’, ‘Knife’, ‘Fork’ etc to look after in the other task room. Tommy and Latoya have to learn an Ice skating routine to Salt n Pepa’s ‘Push It’ in the task room, dressed as a Salt and Pepper shakers.
  • Finally, Tina, Lucy and Coolio are the paparazzi, manning a Pap marquee for 24 hours and looking out for any Celebs to photograph rising above the garden wall on a cherry picker. Celebs included Lucy’s friend Michelle Marsh, 2 of Tina’s cast-mates from Shameless, Chesney Hawkes himself (also popped on BBLB), took them a little bit to figure out Nikki Grahame, but they missed Michael Barrymore completely early on which meant they already failed that part of the task.

  • Coolio starts annoying the crap out of everyone again. Particularly Lucy who calls him out being annoying putting on a voice and rapping next to her in the Paparazzi section. Later with about 15 minutes of the task left, she cant take it any longer and walks off to the bedroom for a moment.
  • The housemates failed anyway as The Hawkes fan club made many fails (although they passed the quiz), Tommy didnt perform his part well enough, and the Paparazzi missed a celebrity.
  • Tokens are 25 pound a piece so Ulrika exchanges it for an ever changing prize. Tina is not impressed and even less so when Coolio starts grabbing the kettle for hot water. Earlier as BB had cleared the house of food for an impending shop, Mutya also had a frustrated moment when BB didnt open the diary room straightaway for her to come in and vent.
  • Coolio reckons he has a plan to shit stir cause he is bored (but harmless so he says despite some of the others noting some of his spiels about women don’t come across that well) and that maybe he’ll annoy people so much that they all walk and he’ll win. LOL.
  • Ulrika has a teary moment when she isn’t evicted over Lucy, as she’s missing her kids and stuff. Later though she has a talk with BB in the diary room and seems to be getting on with it.
  • Tina is a little blunt in putting forward the idea of someone from Luxury swapping with Mutya now that Terry’s HoH reign is over and he’s taking Lucy’s bed in B-Block, by saying now she’s sharing a room with all ‘hairy ass men’ lol. Coolio stirring again says Ben wont move because he wont want to leave Michelle, but then agrees to be the one to swap.

  • BBLB some more segments/guests to name a couple including more Diary Room Chair comp heats, one included a shooting range with an airgun, another was a penalty shootout with a soccer ball kinda set up (which Joe Swash even joined in on). Dr Funke and some of the other Psychologists giving the two guys that have been trying out different Psych piece tips/experiments ‘Nathan and Ryan’ some more things to do, and Michael Barrymore going behind the scenes and warming up the crowd for Davina, Going to the BB10 Auditions and seeing the processes, and more stuff with the task dept.
  • The post eviction Big Mouth episode I thought was a funny good one, they had Lee Ryan from Blue and Caprice (CBB3) on (btw also in the opening episode they had a robot substitute for Jackie Stallone and her calling in in the middle part of the episode). Jack was getting a little flustered with Lee’s commentary coming off like he hadn’t watched much of the season (although about 2/3rd’s in he finally came up with a good discussion point about something or other), while Caprice had a few moments of not caring enough about some of the dramatics to have an option either way kinda thing haha. Then they had Lucy come in on top of that straight from the eviction.

Always felt it a huge mistake that with so much discussion both inside and outside the house over who may be the next Head of House they dropped it completely after week 1. They had the opportunity to build on that after BB9 and possiby introduce it properly in BB10 but they didn't and the show got axed instead.

For all the credit BBUK got at it's height one thing they were guilty of it not building on often well received format points or themes, usually just starting from scratch the next series instead. The only series they really did it was BB6, building on the evil theme but giving it the twist of secret missions. The accompanying Celeb series to BB5/6 built on the main series well too.

Nearly done CBB6; a bit into the final week now, heres some notes for week 2

CBBUK6 Wk 2 (up to Sunday Day 17 BBLB) Pt 1:
  • Saturday opens with Tommy getting a bit flummoxed by Coolio talking to the group about how certain women present themselves as hoes dancing and shaking ass on him at a party. Ironic that the next Token’s mini task is for the housemates to recreate/interpret Eric Prydz music video for ‘Call On Me’, with all its heavily suggestive aerobics thrusting and moves LOL.
  • Ulrika choreographs as she has a bit of a bad back, notices Tommy standing off to the side and not sure if its lack of confidence in dancing after the salt n Pepa task or lack of participation kindof thing. Coolio still teasing Michelle and Ben, commenting that Ben is looking at Michelle’s ass during their practice.
  • They win 3 token’s however Terry and Tina later discuss nominations in an offhand way, as Terry reckons he’s made an observation about Ulrika apppearing to be ‘High Handed’ about the task as if she thinks she’s better than. They end up losing 2 tokens for this and Terry is honest to Ulrika’s face about it, which puts a bit of a tension between them that leads into the following morning until they have a bit of a chat about it.

  • Sunday’s mini token task is the American housemates get dressed up in English period costumes for a dinner and a quixz in the task room, TheBritish housemates try and teach them about various things like rhyming slang, history etc. The quiz is played on the screen whilst every time they get a question wrong, the British housemates dressed in the shiny jumpsuits and muscle stimulator pads from the wk 1 BB9 task get a shock. They win another 3 tokens.
  • Tina has n impassioned group discussion about online culture and Facebook etc. Coolio tries to lay on Mutya on the couch and brings uop Ben and Michelle AGAIN, which causes Michelle to get paranoid about it and talk it out with Ulrika that they shouldn’t have to second guess hanging out with each other or sitting on the couch if the other is there.
  • Latoya and Tina OTOH seem to have convinced themselves like Coolio theres actually feelings there (maybe moreso one sided from Michelle to Ben than He is to her, also Ben reminds a bit of her ex husband in a way) and she’s only getting paranoid because others can see it.

  • Nominations take place, It’s 4 up as Ulrika leads with 5, and Tina, Mutya and Michelle all tie on 3pts. Later in the Diary room including Terry, Michelle, Ben, Coolio, Michelle makes another innocent comment about needing mental ’stimulation’ which Coolio picks up on and links back to Ben which upsets her as she storms out of the diary room. Coolio starts walking around being a bit belligerent ranting about ‘mah house’ while Ulrika etc console Michelle in the bedroom as It’s really getting to her now and she’s thinking of leaving. BB and the others calm her down, Ben kindof has an assertive word to Coolio, as does Big Brother, To which Coolio mentions he’s not being intimidating or verbally/physically/mentally abusive towards anyone, he’s just doing it out of boredom and Michelle should be able to laugh it off unless he really is striking a nerve and there IS something going on with her and Ben.
  • The next morning Michelle is still a bit wary of Coolio. The Shopping task begins, it’s Toys themed, with the Housemates needing to pass 5 out of 7 parts of the task. Tommy and Coolio have box car costumes and have to go through a car wash in the garden every time ‘Car Wash’ starts playing. They abandon it by the following day though. Verne and Michelle are dressed in bear suits and have to eat a jar of honey by a certain time, however they fail that. Terry and Tina perform a ballerina piece to the Nutcracker, the video has to beat Ulrika/Verne’s 81 000 views for Endless Love last week on the BB website to pass.

  • Nominations are announced, the girls all seem excited/happy to be nominated. Mutya particularly starts expressing she really wants to go (they had a psych on BBLB analyse their reactions to the noms announcement). Coolio starts mouthing off again though setting Michelle off yet again and gets called to the Diary room to think about how his behaviour is affecting others. He comes back out and says he’ll tone it down and just shut up, BB suggests to Michelle they try and talk it out, which they do in the bathroom with Coolio explaining he’s just doing it because its playing the game and stirring it up.
  • As part of the task when Kids laughing comes on, they must all go to the toy box and freeze as a group of little kids come in and squeal and run around and then leave. This parts a bit hard on Ulrika and Mutya who are missing their kids.

CBBUK6 Wk 2 (up to Sunday Day 17 BBLB) Pt 2:

  • Second half of the task, Ulrika passes archery task, Latoya and Mutya pass playing heart and soul on a big step piano in the task room (they also practiced chopsticks as per an answer in one of the George Lamb Diary room Challenge quiz’s, but It might not have been required/shown since they nailed H&S) Also they had N-Dubz (Tulisa who would later be a judge on X Factor UK) having a go of it on BBLB.
  • Ben hides in dinosaur costume in lux bedroom to scare Ulrika and passes, however Tina and Terry only got 30 something views and did not pass Ulrika/Vernes 81 thousand last week so 3 fails and failed task. Verne misundersrtands Ulrika saying Latoya could sub a different type of salmon, Coolio thinks she shouldn’t be part of shopping list because he’s the one with the cooking show. Tina consoles Ulrika in the bedroom saying the men are bizarre and weird in there.
  • As expected, the shopping list is a bit of a drama. Coolio wants to read it and starts kicking off because he’s convinced the girls will leave the boy’s stuff off and/or cant read his handwriting. Tina’s had enough and finally snaps at him and shouts don’t tell her to shush. After BB calls them both to the diary room, they calm down though.
  • BB then gives them an hour long task to not moan in exchange for some champagne and letters from home. Some of them have a strategy of not talking/keeping talking to a minimum in order to pass it. Ulrika and Mutya wrap some padding around their faces. Michelle’s letter from her Boyfriend Hugh telling her not to take any notice of the Ben and Michelle rumours.
  • Later Verne gets drunk and seems to be hitting on Latoya a little bit, also one of the scenes of the series, Ram raiding straight into the diary room door on his scooter. LOL.

  • Day of the eviction, BB sets them another mini task, its battle of the sexes in various tasks and a group challenge. Tommy beats Michelle in multitasking, Ironing shirts whilst listening to classical music and answering trivia questions in the diary room. Later they are shown a tarantula getting released in the task room adjacent diary room, and lights going out, what they don’t know is the spider was removed before they are asked to all stand in the room for 5 minutes in the dark. Only Latoya and Michelle do it for the girls while all 5 guys stay there (Coolio ticking their feet). The boys win. a Pizza night.
  • Michelle tries to arc up at Coolio to shut up whilst Ben is trying to read a laminate about the live eviction. Latoya pulls Coolio aside and has a theory that Michelle could be doing that for attention to help her win the show and Coolio is playing right into it. Tina is Evicted and Mutya has had enough and walks later that night. They showed Tina the Shrek Princess Fiona comparison. She also had a LOL moment rolling off the couch this week whilst discussing the downstairs plastic surgery with Mutya and Ulrika.

  • Michelle having a hard time dealing with Coolio again and confides in Ulrika in the bedroom, while the boys try and explain to Coolio as to why Michelle comes off super fragile for a 29 year old may be coloured by her previous relationship and that her personality to take things to heart and the stuff coming from Coolio snowballs until it blows up as Ben tries to put it. (Michelle says she’s been trying to tell him to shut up and then drop it but its hard when he keeps going kinda thing to just ignore him even though theres no reaction).
  • However Ben also says even if he was interested in her that way, she has a boyfriend and he’s not one of those people to do that. Coolio puts forward the unpopular opinion that just sayin’ Michelle seems like the type of girls he’s seen before who are all ‘I Have a boyfriend’ until they are plastered drunk and then they are all boyfriend who type of thing, which they scoff at that Michelle isn’t that type of girl.

  • BBLB they had Vanessa Feltz, Chef Aldo back on vs a local shop chef Mohammed making Coolio’s PB Chicken recipe and Liberty X’ Kelli & Kevin tase testing, Duncan from Blue guessing some of the confiscated items, Diary Room Challenge Semi Final included some space hoppers outside. Davina chat featuring appearance by a man in Ben’s task Dino suit, Michael Barrymore visited Terry’s F & F in a recording studio doing a song or something for support of Terry in the house or something.
  • Big Mouth Guests included singer Jay Sean, Darren Lyons, Jodie Marsh, David Van Day coming on in the Dino suit. Jodie Marsh gave an interesting contrast as I could see how some of the dynamics going on kindof mirror/contrast with some of the stuff from CBB4 if say, it was Dennis Rodman teasing Chantelle over having an thing for Preston, and her being the one with the boyfriend on the outside instead. Latoya being Traci Bingham. Only this time Tommy and Terry aren’t joining in, whereas Jodie had not only one but Michael Barrymore, George Galloway and Pete Burns kindof banding together in tandem piling it on her. Lucy Pinder also didn’t come across maybe as emotionally unstable as Jodie did either. But anyways, maybe a bit more on that in the housemate wrap ups.

  • On Sunday’s BBLB the second Semi for the Diary Room Challenge was a web twister style game in spider suits. It went to a tiebreaker about how many CBB housemates there have been, they both over shot it but I quickly guessed about 1 or 2 off like 56 when the answer was 57. The final of that is on the Tuesday episode. Jay Sean was also back on the Sunday BBLB along with Tina, Mutya, etc.

Onto the next few episodes!

Always felt it a huge mistake that with so much discussion both inside and outside the house over who may be the next Head of House they dropped it completely after week 1. Something else Tina's Best Bits reminded me of was that the 'humongous sized heated Jail' this season has yet to be touched at all at least in the edit let alone the carousel horses seating (they're always seen using either the ashtray or the heated cube block when sitting outside). Instead they just took some of the Tokens from them earlier in the week when Terry and Tina got pulled up for Nominations allusion.

Hey, I thought this might be the thread for some help in finding a BBUK episode.
Do any of you have an episode link for when the letters from home occur during the BBUK7 prison task. I have linked a portion of the letter reading in the video below, starts at 4:17 in case the video isn't there. I've always wanted to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated?

It's Played during the recap portion of Week 10's eviction (about Day 72). Both alternate playlists I use dont currently have that episode but it's elsewhere. I'll PM. ;)

CBBUK6 Finale Week Done:
  • Sunday Diary Room Uncut (another side show thats trimmed for BB10 and/or absorbed into BBLB or Big Mouth as a segment or so Ive read) had a few more scenes from the Gender wars mini task, including Mutya/Coolio with the Omelette and Verne/Ulrika with the common sense quiz.
  • Weekend mini token task was to make up a song as part of a band they named themselves ‘The Final Eight’. Ulrika gets a little huffy with Terry walking into her shot during rehearsals which Tommy thought was a bit off (when he actually finally showed up for participation in the task after being off doing his own thing most of the day).
  • Another mini task to win items for a party was bringing the chilli eating challenge back but as a 3 round course. Michelle and Coolio attempt to one up each other while Ben ends up eating all 3 chilllies. The next morning Verne takes his time coming for the mini task announcement as he’s on the toilet.
  • Nominations take place and are revealed for a snap vote in Monday’s surprise eviction show. Its Michelle and Ulrika.
  • They are set a task to film ‘BB The Movie about events of the house. Terry does an amusing impression of Tina in several scenes whilst Verne is the main director. Later during the screening Davina comes on screen to announce the evictee (Dermot did this during Hijack but this is the first time Davina’s done it).
  • also during that day BB sets them a few random tasks like walking backwards or Ulrika only speaking in Swedish for a short time. After BB tells them that was the last nominations they hold some mock nominations as a joke.
  • The Shopping task is American themed, It coincides with the Presidential inauguration day of President Obama, which BB decides to broadcast for the housemates as its historic. They must pass 3 out of 4 of the tasks. Ulrika and Terry fail the pie eating portion, but they pass the 3 other tasks, Ben and La Toya staying on the bucking bull for more than 2 minutes collectively (Michael Barrymore had a go at it on segment on BBLB), Tommy hit at least one of each baseball shooter (They had the evictees play a round of this on Finale BBLB too) Including some out over the wall which won the a burgers etc meal, and Coolio completed the 500 laps of Route 66 in the garden on moped after Verne retired earlier in the day.
  • The Inauguration is played and Coolio has a private emotional moment in the bedroom.
  • Another mini tokens task was about dares, The Jail finally gets use as losing dares/refusal gets them some time out in there. Everyone except Tommy passes their dare including armpits, Salty windows, granny smooching, fish, bath of vegetable soup Tommy’s is 3 icy shots but he fails to complete them in 1 minute and gets a rugged up outfit to wear whilst going out to jail. He’s back in before long to prepare for the mid week eviction. They are unaware it’s a double.
  • Latoya and Then Tommy are evicted. The last bit of daily show action is a dinner and toast for the Final 5. Ben comes 5th, then Verne (exitng through his door) Coolio, Terry and then Ulrika winning.
  • BBLB guests this week included The evictees, some Hollyoaks cast, Jay Sean etc all playing some games. Plugging the new series of Skins again with a comp to win something Verne related (earlier they also promo’ed Dead Set and Duncan from Blue was acting in something called Plus One or something), Chris Eubank from CBB1 was on the finale as was Michael Barrymore, and Keith Lemon was chewing the scenery again alongside Davina on one episode.
  • Big Mouth’s Finale had Davina on as one of the guests then all this Season’s housemates. The outro was a bit of a Gangsta’s Paradise singalong.

Next: some overall season thoughts + housemate wrap ups

CBBUK6 Overall Season Thoughts:
  • This was a decent return season after taking a break for Hijack I thought. As I mentioned it did feel at times like it was kinda analogous in casting comparing/contrasted with CBB4, only it proved to be slightly less explosive and tumultuous, as Coolio drove most of the conflict/chaos, but it came more from a sense of game play and stirring and the others took it in their stride and got on with it sortof apart from maybe Michelle who did have a few moments and also Tina ‘keeping her lid on’ for the most part and ignoring him.
  • Whereas CBB4 had it coming from multiple fronts. I think if the Thing between Terry and Ulrika turned out to be more simmering or malice on Terry’s part, or if Tommy really laid on some political disagreements more kinda thing it might’ve matched the level of chaoticness of the other series a bit more but otoh it was its own thing as well IYKWIM.
  • As for the HoH not continuing, I thought it was ok, there was still other things driving storylines and with a shorter series it served its purpose well enough for the opening twist I thought. The Jail like the hole in the wall for q’s from CBB5 did feel like a bit of a tack on ‘hey we haven’t used this yet after pointing it out at the very beginning’ but yeah.
  • Also as it was pointed out too that nominations/eviction order wise it got to be towards the end a bit more male dominated, despite Ulrika lasting it out (and perhaps surprisingly, given she was up for every single vote this series and also wanted to be evicted). I did have a thought maybe to shake things up a bit and perhaps as alternative to HoH there could be a twist that at least for the first few weeks there could be an immunity for the following week if you get through the eviction. That could be interesting but anyways.
  • Michael Barrymore coming back as a reporter/task dept skits etc was entertaining on BBLB, Jack did a good job with Big Mouth, He did do a fair bit of stand up style comedy bits with it that were a bit OTT as well as the at times chaotic set/audience/guests. It’s weekly eps with Davina next season.
  • The Diary Room Competition on BBLB was a fun addition and George has got into the flow well hosting with things like The Big Answer etc.

    Next: Some housemate wrap ups

CBBUK6 Housemates Pt 1:
  • Lucy Pinder: I thought she came across as a slightly more emotionally secure counterpart to Jodie Marsh in her season. She didnt appear to have a problem with being seen as ‘a pair of tits’ and one of the main questions she was asked after she got evicted is why she didnt get her baps out more. She knows she’s more than that. The eviction between her and Ulrika was fairly close at about 57% so it could’ve been pretty different to see her go on if it went the other way. Although She was also ok with being nominated through Terry as it made it sting less. She appears to have done some acting roles later on.
  • Tina Malone: She provided a lot of comic relief during the season, some of her potty mouthed one liners were hilarious. She finally put Coolio in his place just before she went, It wouldv’e been fun to see her last right through but she like many of the girls was ready to go. Apart from her main role in Shameless she later appeared on some other Celeb shows like Celeb Masterchef.
  • Mutya Buena: She got along with Tina a lot and was often seen paired up with her. The housemates contrasting and noting her maturity (she was still only 23 ish at this time) against Michelle, But also missing her daughter (she talked about her appearing in the video for Sugababes ‘song ‘Ugly’) and the periods of boredom weighed on her and she ended up walking. She also appeared on some further celeb shows, Including Masterchef apparently just this month. Also did more music and reformed Sugababes original lineup.
  • Michelle Heaton: Did well for having to bear the brunt of all the nothing going on between her and Ben being constantly brought up. I did think by the time of her Big Mouth Interview it started being flogged like a dead horse and felt a bit overdone, Perhaps the way it was so drummed up its almost as if some were willing a scandal to become reality like it could turn into another Chantelle and Preston or similar. Although they did manage to ask her about some other aspects of her time in the house, such as the Shrek foot in mouth kinda comment with Tina. After all that She married Hugh the following year, and she too has appeared on a few Celebrity shows including Dancing on Ice and Celebrity SAS. Liberty X also was part of 2013’s Big Reunion Special and reformed in various lineups later on.
  • La Toya Jackson: Came out of her shell a bit and put a good effort into the tasks whilst in there. She also had some interesting backstories that contrasted a little here and there to some of the stuff Jermaine talked about when he was on as well including her marriage, JW’s and her Police training, Her biography would be a good read. Towards the end she did start to get a bit paranoid about Coolio and then Michelle possibly having a game plan. La Toya also later has appeared on several reality celebrity shows including Celeb Apprentice.
  • Tommy Sheridan: I think maybe casting was expecting him to take some political stances and cause some friction a bit like George Galloway. He did ruffle a few feathers during the Obama showing, but that was just a bit of La Toya’s interpretation that was later clarified and she didn’t want to raise an issue about it anyway just an respectful observation of peoples difference of political attitudes kinda thing I suppose. He was also notable for his perceived decreasing lack of effort with each successive task involving some type of musical/dancing ability, although he did eventually give it a good go. His impression of La Toya was amusing, and He was good at the baseball task. He later returned to politics.

CBBUK6 Housemates Pt 2:
  • Ben Adams: He was fairly quiet and agreeable during his run, he did well to be saved from the first vote and then get into the Final, becoming dragged into Coolio’s stirring of Michelle along the way. After CBB, A1 reformed as a Trio and submitted for Eurovision 2010 for Norway, but coming second in Norways National Final. Later though I was surprised to see that ‘Subwoolfer’ the act in masks with that Wolf Banana song for Norway In Eurovision 2022, one of the Duo was revealed to be Ben like the following year. Haha. He’s also done some songwriting for other artists and released some solo stuff.
  • Verne Troyer: He also took a bit of a backseat to Coolio’s antics towards the beginning, giving some interesting insight into how he’s pretty self sufficient, His most memorable moment and possibly of the season was his Drunk night and ramming into the diary room door. LOL. Thats Gif worthy. He was in a couple more films before his passing, including apparently there was a Keith Lemon Movie in 2012?? lol.
  • Coolio: The main driver of the chaos this season, His stirring really got several of them in a tizzy. Although as mentioned it moreso wasnt from a malicious intent kinda place. He realsed another album later in 2009, also appeared in several other TV Shows and movies etc before his recent passing in 2022. I do recall him popping up as a guest on BBLB during BB6 I think it was.
  • Terry Christian: I thought he was good value and was another who put in well with the tasks, also pragmatically and reasonably with unwittingly being placed in the HoH role upon entry. Even with his slight disagreement with Ulrika about the whole ‘High Handed’ thing he was able to smooth it over fairly swiftly, when I think he couldve been seen as kindof a counterpart to someone like Michael Barrymore as a previus TV host/presenter, and if he wanted to come off as more of self entitled a hole or something about things. Later he became a regular panellist on Channel 5 shows The Wright Stuff and Jeremy Vine and did some stand up Comedy.
  • Ulrika Jonsson: Had quite the journey, stats wise theres usually talk of housemates that never were put up for nomination or didnt get any nomination points at all during their run, hows this, Ulrika made it through and won the show whilst being up for every single vote of the season plus missing her kids and not caring if she went, but not walking because she wanted to see her contractual obligation out. Still despite that she did get into the spirit of things where tasks and such were concerned, and had a sense of humour. She had a similar kinda backstory to Faria Alam in her past apparently with that same guy Sven (who has just passed recently) with a hint of scandalousness, and had done a TV special about sex addiction? Later she also appeared in a couple other celebrity reality shows.

So That’s CBB6! I’ve went ahead and watched the Launch show of BB10 and a bit of the first Big Mouth and BBLB eps, I’ll be back soon with a bit of an update. :)
