BB/CBB UK - Rewatch discussions

BBUK10 Week 3 Done Part 1 (had a few notes again for this week, haha):
  • First token task is to learn 10 Russian phrases and translate at random picked by BB in the diary room. Angel can help and also participate (she gets some more complex and different phrases it sounds like). They have to successfully translate 6 phrases word perfect to pass. Marcus reckons he nailed his attempt (He flubbed one line though as shown in subtitles) and reckons Angel should go next (they are unsure about the task instruction ‘a number of housemates’ will be called) in case Sree goes next and stuffs it up and BB stops calling them in, which causes another.bit of an argument between them. They end up passing the task.
  • Earlier Sree had attempted to apologise to Noirin about what he said on Eviction night but Noirin is getting fed up with him as he appears to be coming off not serious and giggling through/trying to shift her attention onto how Marcus is behaving into it. She later talks with Marcus about how he’s running off to Lisa.
  • It’s started to be discussed more in the spin offs about how much Kris is actually into the showmance with Dogface and is it just casual or fake and stuff. Halfwit has an observation about how much time he spends with Charlie and even Dogface has an aside to BB about it in a joking way in the Diary Room. Charlie and Kris also have a moment in the diary room singing ‘Baby Cakes’ by 3 Of A Kind which was a UK #1 hit wonder or something I looked up haha. Kris is getting annoyed by Halfwit (Halfwit tries to pull him aside about the Cider going missing and indirectly blaming Angel for it), but still finds his quips amusing, they’re starting to get a bit of an in-joke happening out of Halfwit’s “I Don’t think so, Sonny Jim”

  • The next day BB throws a ‘Summer Solstice’ Hippie themed party day for Halfwit, which forms the second Token task of the week. The housemates successfully participate in all the activities, which include a group musical chant in the garden, writing ‘Odes to Halfwit’ and listening to Halfwit talk about himself for 15 minutes. During which Sree and Marcus have another pow wow with Karly jumping in to try and mediate this time. Later Angel and Halfwit get up to some dirty dancing and a snog. The next day or so we also find out when Angel is explaining her crush on someone to BB that its actually Noirin she fancies, and Halfwit was a bit of cheeky fun for his BDay, she also shared a quick snog with Noirin as well.
  • Sree tries forgetting about the Noirin and Marcus drama as Lisa suggested, but also appears to be playing it up with Charlie by gay chickening him or something like he’s cracking on for a joke, lol. Meanwhile BB gives Halfwit a prize of being able to return either himself, Noirin or Dogface to ‘normality’. He picks Noirin, and she can now stop drawing the glasses and moustache on her face.

  • This weeks shopping task is read out by Siavash, as he volunteers to come to the diary room when BB asks for the ‘most blue blooded housemate’. However he’s a slight bit poor at reading the instructions (Kris corrects him reading Henry the 8th as the 12th) that Marcus Bentley issues a ‘to clarify’ voiceover lol. It’s themed around Henry the 8th’s 518th Birthday this week, so Siavash is playing him, and the others will take roles and perform various tasks, the house being decked out in some Tudor style things. It’s funny at first Rodrigo objects to being a wife, yet next scene he is one of a couple boys taking on a female role (Halfwit, Sree and Rodrigo are some of the six wives, as humorously commented on by Siavash in the diary room how he has some funny looking wives, and Charlie is the lady part of him and Kris dancing the ‘Volta’).
  • The wives have to sing a ‘Madrigal’ Dogface gets annoyed with Halfwit taking it super seriously and attempting to get her to sing properly, whilst BB calls Rodrigo into the diary room to work on his ‘Nonny Nonnying’ (exaggerated head and arm enthusiasm).
  • Lisa and Noirin are the cooks, who have to prepare several dishes wholesale in the task room, which is decked out like a bit of an abattoir complete with a hogs head, and whole chickens and rabbits in the fridge. Theres a bit of hacking, plucking and skinning thats required.

  • They are assisted by Marcus, who as the ‘Village Idiot’ has a part of each of the others’ tasks. The others throw rotten fruit at him in the stocks outside every time Siavash gets a multiple choice question about Henry wrong (Marcus is able to assist), and also has to perform interpretive dance alongside the Madrigal and accompany the Volta musically (iirc), as well as play Greensleeves on the recorder.
  • Kris attempts to stage a vote if the others want to just sack off the task and have a fun day. It’s voted down mainly by Marcus and Rodrigo who want to continue to have a good crack at it. However they all fail aspects of every task (except Marcus participating in every one bar the performance aspect of his own individual task), so it’ll be basic budget next week.
  • Theres another argument about Sree during the dinner taking an extra drink and lying about it or something and Angel kindof indicates it was him. Noirin later has another kindof interrogative conversation with him one on one in the sitting area. Lisa Charlie and Karly tell him to stop worrying about trying to fix things with Noirin and do his own thing cause its souring his experience in the house.
  • This task was in some ways reminiscent of the feather plucking and Royal Medieval court task in CBB3, they had Jeremy Edwards and Kenzie on BBLB and also Jeremy tried learning the Volta dance. They had John McCririck on later against a debating team.
  • Another thing they gave Siavash during the task was some special power affecting nominations. He first had to select in front of everyone someone to not nominate this week - he goes with Charlie, which is alright by him cause last week he didn’t want to nominate anyone and was hard stalling for time trying to peer around the back of the diary room chair before BB told him to either nominate or be put up. LOL.
  • The second was he had to knight a housemate to be immune from nominations. He thought about giving Halfwit a week off, but then gave it to Marcus.

BBUK10 Week 3 Done Part 2
  • Nominations were live and timed this week. Kinda like Australian Nominations! only this was much more fast paced, they were given 90 seconds each, which began as soon as they were called from the table, so it was invariably down to about 72 seconds by the time they sat down in the chair, and a bit of a tag team with the next housemate ready to run in after the other in two batches. They weren’t told it was live and were given the nominees straight after. Inside the diary room there were two lights giving them a blue light warning for 30 seconds remaining, then red light for times up.

  • It was Halfwit and Angel up, although Sree was very close. Surprisingly Noirin didn’t nominate him and nominated Angel instead. I think Angel really did a number of herself this week, as the day of nominations after already telling Noirin she had a large ass (as somewhat of a compliment?) She then tells her that she’s let herself go and she should want to look good all the time as a pretty girl, and isn’t exercising as she said she would. Angel takes this to mean that Noirin could use a bit of motivation, so She unfortunately resorts to telling Noirin she looks like she’s 3 months pregnant in front of everyone (later apologising and saying it was out of love/concern, but the nominations were right there imminent, so its fresh in everyones mind for her an easy choice). It’s not just that though, along with the over obsession with fitness she seems to be having, She tries to pocket one of Siavash’s photos (they they bought from the disposable cameras last week on the shopping list) of Noirin for her ‘art collage’ project without asking first, as well as putting Noirin’s hairbrush in a box, which again puts people offside.

  • Charlie upsets Angel for a moment by dropping a water bomb on her whilst she’s focused on making her eviction outfit jacket. Halfwit tries to self insert again by talking to Lisa about it as if she told Charlie to single Angel out for the prank knowing it would likely upset her but Lisa takes it as him lecturing her. Rodrigo later speaks up against Noirin singling out Angel to do the washing up as its the same people all the time doing it. I think they both kindof had a point but I do think Noirin came out looking like she was too focused on calling Angel out (Marcus also tries to reason that everyone has different skills and maybe chill out a bit or something along those lines).
  • I think It was Davina iirc who made a theory on Big Mouth that now that the glasses have come off, it could be like a bit of a mask slip for Noirin or her 180 flip in now being quite assertive with Sree could be a bit abrupt and not coming off well image wise for her. IMO its reminding me a little of Saskia and Jen now Noirin’s emerging as somewhat of an Alpha female in the house dynamic we’ll see how that continues to develop.
  • Sree got Charlie to help bleach his hair and it went a kindof ginger colour. It only last about a day as He then gets Angel to temp dye it black again. Dogface has an uneducated kinda moment thinking Carrots grew on trees.
  • Halfwit chats with Siavash about his theory of the house factions being ‘Sheep, Wolves, Shepherds, and Individuals’ How some may be a mix of many. However he also shares this theory in front of and with Kris and Dogface, which Kris later bitches about to Lisa. He also has an argument with Sree about him using too much garlic in the kitchen. Rodrigo is also a bit snippy with Sree about getting Charlie to help him when Rodrigo was in the kitchen first or something.
  • Angel draws on her face on eviction night and is the one evicted. The panel tonight is Psychologist Peter Collett, and Anthea Turner from CBB1, both we haven’t seen in a while.

  • BBLB: Some other guests/points: Quiz of the Decade had Eugene (BB6, also doing Sunday’s singing with the band outro) & Imogen (BB7), and Liam (BB8) & Steph (BB9) on the midweek ep. Something I’ve noticed though is whoever is writing the questions occasionally gets their series number adjacent mixed up, and it can throw the question off. Last week George started reading ‘in BB6, which housemates were prizes in the TV Quiz task’ That was BB7. This week had an audio grab of ‘which BB6 housemate said this’ and good thing it was the iconic “NOh Nahkid Jacoohziness!’ because Michelle Bass is from BB5, and ‘Which BB2 housemate did a gas company ad?’ had me guessing Bubble or Brian but then the answer was given as Jonny (who was BB3).
  • Good strategy though perhaps is if you definitely know it, answer it (as the housemate helpers you cant see if you throw the question for extra points if they know or not) The drag queen last week could’ve won outright if ‘Glyn cooking an egg for the first time’ wasn’t passed to Michelle who didn’t guess it right. Still she flubbed the tiebreak about Lisa and Mario by not guessing the full description of the item just ‘something from Ebay’.
  • BB7’s Jayne also popped up in a game played by CBB6’s Lucy Pinder and Ben Adams; Iain told us about BBAfrica (including phone call with Cameron (BB4) and Gaetano; and Cairon went off to record a rap and music video with Darnell (BB9).
  • Big Mouth: Brian Belo got sent to be a dominatrix whipping boy for the episode. It also coincided with the big news story about Michael Jackson’s passing so a few of the prompts were MJ song related, They brought Darnell in to sing some ‘Ben’ to throw to a VT/ad break, Davina Moonwalked in and Angel walked in to Thriller. Probably not the best night for Nikki Grahame to be on as guest (along with Boyd Hilton from Heat mag), in retrospect as Angel honed on to her looking skinny.
  • They also sent Cairon to rap for some ladies at the Womens association, and Musical guest was Mz Bratt with ‘who do you think you are?’.

    Onto the next few episodes!

BBUK10 Week 4 (Part A):
  • Lisa uses a Token they won doing some sort of cleaning task to shave her head, while Siavash shaves his chest. Majority of the episode it them discussing how it seems like Kris is having second thoughts about the showmance and is taking a step back from hanging out with Dogface. He confides in Charlie how he isn’t sure whether it could be something more than casual or whether he should take a step back at the risk of hurting Dogface if she’s into it more than he is or something. Dogface also notices this and has a chat with Karly. They both reconvene the next morning though. Noirin and Sree are still bickering a little bit, the others eavesdropping on them outside the bathroom.
  • The second token task is a ‘school extreme sports day’ teams task with Siavash and Noirin as the team captains, and Marcus is the ref. He has to guess in the diary room which team will win to be invited to the school disco in the sitting room with the winning team. Karly, Kris and Halfwit are unsure about Siavash picking Sree to go first for the skipping race against Dogface, which he loses. Theres also an egg and spoon race between Rodrigo and Kris with a twist, they have to eat the century egg at the end. It all comes down to a baton relay featuring everyone, the baton being a cactus. Noirin’s team comes out the winners, and Marcus bet on them so he goes to the disco.

  • Afterwards Sree seems a bit morose as noticed by the others and Noirin says she feels sorry for him but Marcus thinks he’s just trying to get sympathy. Sree tells Lisa and Noirin he’s a bit annoyed with the way Marcus puts him down during that task.
  • Kris and Karly try and prank the others by saying BB agreed to swap the tokens they just won for alcohol for the losing team left in the house. Halfwit and Siavash aren’t too thrilled with that idea because it might cause drama. Later Halfwit has some drama of his own when Kris asks him to wash up straightaway after he and Karly cooked the others something and not leave a mess for the others to come back to, But Halfwit wanted to do it later when hot water is back on, and drags the issue out by asking if Kris has a problem with him.
  • Nominations, It’s Halfwit (surprise surprise) and Sree up, Noirin and Sree nominated each other, as he’s gone back to annoying her and some of the others think Sree’s being a broken record always going on about his situation with Noirin. Kris and Charlie exchange a token for alcohol and BB throws in a bottle of wine for everyone. Halfwit again thinks this was a bit of a silly idea and it leads to a bit of a discussion about conserving the few token they have left for hot water.
  • Sree joins in the attempt to jump across the pool, and later challenges Siavash to a bet for cans of Cider in a running race outside. Siavash beats him, then Sree attempts to get everyone outside to watch a rematch where Siavash beats him again.

  • The shopping task is themed around Italian culture. They have to pass the majority of the parts to pass. Noirin gives up the Gelato orders spot after Sree pipes up he wants to do it. It involves listening to BB’s Icecream orders over the phone then delivering it to the diary room in 3 minutes. Sree mans the phones whilst Dogface takes care of making the gelato. Shouting out the first part of the order so others may remember does end up not being such a viable strategy as he orders get more complicated.
  • Siavash as the ‘Fashionista’’s task was funny, he dons several costumes over the course of the task - including a barrel he can hardly sit down on the diary room chair in and comically falls over. He has to run to the podium every time Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ is played, ‘strike a pose’ then stay there until Vogue plays again. Kris and Charlie as Italian football players, have a similar task where they have to run around outside and hooligan it up when a sound is played. Lisa is their publicist or something wearing a wig.
  • Later when they recognise that the Gelato task is probably a fail already, Dogface and Karly clarify with BB whether just eating the Gelato constitutes a fail for just the Gelato duo or a fail for the entire house. BB confirms pretty much its just for the Gelato housemates so they all cram in to eat it whilst BB tries to distract Siavash and Charlie/Kris a couple times with the noises.

  • Halfwit starts to get himself on the wrong side of some of them again during his part of the task, as one of the 3 tenors singing ‘Nessun Dorma’ with Rodrigo and Karly. They ask him to do a practice run in the last 5 minutes they have with the Mp3 players, But Halfwit wants to make the most of the Mp3 first and do the practice in the half hour before the performance. They have a bit of a bicker about it.
  • During the actual practice, Halfwit then has a blank moment and takes Lisa praising the others as a deliberate ’setting him up to be the reason they failed’. He seems to have this fixation and paranoia about Lisa having a game plan, that as he tries to explain it to Kris later on, Kris is exasperated with it thinking he’s being patronising and dosent want to hear it and walks off and bitches to Lisa.
  • Karly is similarly annoyed. The performance goes off time and at first it appears that Halfwit has started his part too early, cutting off Rodrigo, which they have a big argument over at the end. Actually though as referenced on BBLB, there was in fact some kindof mistiming with the audio so they ended up giving them that part of the task.

  • Later Halfwit is trying to calmly get to the bottom of Karly’s frustration with him, but it dosent go down well and Karly’s also over it and had enough when he sets her off saying she hasn’t made eye contact with him all day and he wants to know what he’s done kinda thing. I mean they do have a point that he’s trying a bit to hard to push them about giving a reason why they’re fed up with him at the moment, but on the other hand it was starting to get a little uncomfortable viewing when Karly, Lisa and Kris were all having a bit of a go at him or cold shouldering him off sortof thing IYKWIM.
  • Anyway’s after the Karly, Kris and another morning argument with Lisa when she comes up to Halfwit talking to Charlie and again trying to fish the reason why ‘Lisa dosent like him’ out of her, The next morning He and Lisa have a big chat at the bus stop and make up.
  • Noirin and Marcus’ part of the task as artists they have to do some paintings in the task room to be judged by an Art critic, who is judging 3 paintings - their 2 plus one that was done by a 6 year old, without knowing which is which. They pass as theirs were ranked #1 and 2. They also pass the entire task.

BBUK10 Week 4 (Part B):
  • Shopping list; Marcus and Sree have another row, 2 things, Sree is upset over Marcus imitating his accent, and second, as they shout at each other across the garden, Marcus makes a comment along the lines of ‘well make a comment like that to me when we are outside, and we’ll see then’ which gets him a formal warning from BB. Marcus isn’t happy about either thing, thinking its a double standard about the accent thing but failing to see that as BB explains the warning is not for the accent (implying he’s racist and if thats a double standard) but for the way he made the second comment which could be misconstrued as threatening, which Siavash and Halfwit explain to him after.
  • They rent some inflatables for the pool from the shopping list. Sree is evicted, The panel is Judy James again plus Kelly Osbourne.
  • Rodrigo is starting to come up into view again and getting a bit of a ‘boiling kettle’ kinda storyline, he’s gonna lose his shit at some point it seems. There’s a fair bit brewing between him and Charlie, Charlie’s been pranking him and stirring him up as well, from trying to roughhouse him and get icecream in his hair, to which Rodrigo goes and gets the sauce bottles to come back outside and try and get back at him with. Saturday’s episode saw Rodrigo sulk off to the bedroom for a moment after Charlie is stirring him up saying his name was strange. Charlie also locks Rodrigo, Dogface, and Siavash in the bathroom by tying towels etc around the handles for a while and getting Halfwit to call out that the lights gone red and they are going to talk to BB in the Diary room about it. Rodrigo isnt impressed with Charlie after they let them out after a bit.
  • Later the housemates have cans of cider again and Marcus offers Noirin some to sit on his lap (again these two theres something appearing to perhaps be going on again, they were also having some chats under the covers later on). Anyway Marcus boasts about having cans hidden, which a tipsy Charlie and Kris go and find and secretly drink. However they are sprung by Karly and Rodrigo, who says he wont tell Marcus if they give him some. Later Marcus finds out, which then Rodrigo starts arguing and getting upset with Charlie implying that Rodrigo blabbed to Marcus about them drinking the cans. Later Charlie comes to the diary room in tears for a while to compose himself. Although in the closer to the episode, He apologises to Rodrigo in the dark and they’ve hugged it out again.

  • BBLB: They used Angel quite a bit this week, from having a strength/games off with BB9’s Lisa in VT reffed by Mario (BB9) - Lisa won, Doing the egg and spoon race into the studio with Myke Hawke and Jennie Bond, playing a song on her guitar, doing an art project in VT with Lee Kern, and doing Nessun Dorma with Sophia and Glyn (BB7) judged by Jonathan Ansen from G4. She was also in a VT of music video parodies on Big Mouth including the other evictees in a Spice Girls send up.
  • Iain Lee’s BB around the world was Australia this week, they talked about BBAU5’s twin twist, The incorrect eviction, Pamela Anderson going in in 2008, and also had Terri (BBAU8) on the phone. Not sure what article Iain had been reading that mentioned the next season might be in 2010 though. hmm.
  • Quiz of the Decade former Hm’s included Maxwell (BB6 played out with the band on ‘Footloose’) & Sophie (BB3), and Rex (BB9) and Amy (BB8).
  • Some of the other guests were Kyran Bracken, more Johnny Blue Eyes, Paul Danan, and they even brought in Flo Rida on Friday’s show who went into the camera runs (his song ‘Sugar’ ft Wynter was out). Davina and George also chucked some meatballs at Nikki Grahame.
  • Big Mouth: Guests were Brian Dowling (BB2), Holly Walsh, Sree, and they sent Brian Belo to Margate in a mankini and then at the end he was dancing in studio in it. They also showed a youtube clip that was doing the rounds of Sree at a club doing some pretty raunchy dancing LOL. Musical guest was ‘Chipmunk’ with ‘Diamond Rings’. Something brought up that I thought might be is comparison of Halfwits’ Head to head noms runs so far to Paul in BB2. Like Brian Dowling though I too think it might be interesting to have Kris or someone up and possibly go soon, that could switch up some dynamics a little perhaps. Also Haven’t heard anything yet about potential intruders so far.

    Onto the next few episodes!

Had a bit of a busy 2 weeks but I'm starting to get back into rhythm now. Update on Week 5 coming up plus I've been working on catching up with BB21 (I'm up to partway through the Task in Week 3). ;)

BBUK10 Week 5 Done:
  • This was an interesting week. Halfwit has a moment waking up upset and goes straight to the diary room to vent to BB about needing some space from the others as he feels they might put him up again. The others notice this and think he might just be attention seeking. Later he’s cuddling up to Charlie outside, and also thinks he might be having some kindof ‘Connection’ with Noirin, which Kris scoffs at.
  • All week Noirin is a bit paranoid about now leading Marcus on, and discusses it with Lisa on how to keep it platonic, as she is getting tired of others particularly Siavash commenting to her about it. She also tries telling Marcus not to give her compliments. Marcus is a bit confused as if she’s giving him mixed signals and/or that everyone gives her compliments, why is he different kinda thing.

  • Charlie and Rodrigo clash again Charlie and Kris bag up Rodrigo and threaten to chuck him in the pool (BB intervenes and they werent actually gonna do it but still) then later Rodrigo Halfwit and Charlie are in the Kitchen and Charlie wants to be left alone in peace but Rodigo challenges him. Later BB gives them drinks for Rodrigos’ task but Rodrigo is missing, Charlie finds him in the Kitchen and sees hes been crying in toilet, they make up again, but later Rodrigo is in the Diary room crying again telling BB he doesn’t want to have arguments all the time and have the country hate him for it kinda thing. The following day they are roughhousing again and get into another argument in the bedroom as Rodrigo wont leave Charlie alone and stop arguing with him. Lisa Tells them to stay out of each others way for a bit because its not going anywhere.
  • BB gives Rodrigo a secret mission to make someone get on hands and knee and bark like a dog. He manages to get Dogface to do it.

  • Mini Token Task is ‘Crash test dummies’ in groups of three, they must launch one of them into a padded wall to be read by a speed reader, fastest wins access to the token winning challenge + a ‘party’. Lisa is the OH & S supervisor. Kris is considering throwing it because he and Dogface are with Halfwit, but they end p winning and the task is, with Lisa supervising, dancing non stop while eating burgers and milkshakes in the room behind the diary room for an hour, which they complete.
  • Nominations take place, however during them, BB informs Charlie that he broke the rules by inferring he would nominate Rodrigo after last nights argument. He will be up for eviction unless he doesn’t talk or make ANY noise until midnight. Later, Kris and Dogface are given the same challenge as they start speculating about people voting/not voting for Halfwit. They all fail, as they still hummed and audibly laughed as well as Charlie failing almost immediately after exiting the diary room and wondering out loud. It’s quite funny like the time in BB6 when BB reads out the list of infractions verbatim back to them in the diary room. So it’s Halfwit and Marcus up plus those 3.

  • The Shopping task is a Circus themed one. Marcus and Noirin clash again when Noirin is annoyed at him inferring that she’s ‘lazy’ taking certain shortcuts or something and about her wanting to show that she’s up to the task of being one of the ‘strongmen/women’ but they seem to settle after a bit again.
  • Halfwit is paired with Dogface throwing paintballoons at targets near her strapped to a circular target. BB gives her some extra padding for her boobs, Halfwit still managed to throw a splatterer which gets her across the face and goggles. On BBLB George has the F & F throw paint bombs past Gerry (BB8) outside for their pleas.
  • Lisa and Rodrigo get nude suits with boobs and a penis for their burlesque feather dancing, they fail to be in sync and keep covered however. Kris and Karly get tightrope walking, and Charlie has to ride a unicycle across the pool. Grace (BB7) comes on BBLB with George to do some of this outside as she was on a celebrity circus show.
  • Siavash, Marcus and Noirin as the Strongpeople get pedometers to walk a certain amount, they fail that, however they pass the other half of their part of the task by pulling a rope connected via pulleys to a truck outside the house to get it over the line. George on BBLB has a go with a strongman outside. However overall they failed the task.
  • Karly etc discuss how Halfwit has chilled out a lot and stopped being annoying in the past week. Lisa gets out the clippers again to shave Charlie’s head and Halfwit is up for a makeover so they do his too and dress him up.

  • Theres a bit of a tizzy over Marcus discussing with Noirin over who he thinks will go on Friday with Dogface in the room. She picks up that Marcus says that Kris said Dogface might go cause she’s been quiet but when she goes to tell Kris He reckons he never said that and only may have nodded in agreement in a ‘I See how you could think that’ way when Marcus said it. But he doesn’t recall saying it and thought Kris said it. Or is he stirring the pot.
  • Similarly later on another big argument erupts when Siavash tells Noirin out of courtesy he reckons that Kris and Karly have been saying that Noirin is ‘like a Rabbit’ flitting from group to group. She promptly goes and point blank brings it up with the other group in the bedroom and basically throws Siavash into it. Thing is, I don’t think we’ve been shown who actually said that, unless Siavash is getting muddled up perhaps or its intentional to test Noirin/stir shit up to which well he’s found out now but also… why, seems like a silly move unless he’s really bored or something and doesn’t care if he goes a bit like Rex last season. Siavash thinks they should both put themselves up next week to let the public be the decider of the argument kinda thing. This gets him of course into rule break with BB, He will get a punishment next week. Halfwit also dramatically raises his voice in Siavash’s defence toward Noirin.
  • They later discuss and apologise about how Noirin dealt with it, but they are still a bit wary of each other behind the scenes. Marcus and Halfwit have a good laugh about if they both stay. Rodrigo starts getting stroppy again when Siavash gets told to stop peeling the outside chair as he was trying to make it all white so it looks uniform as it had started peeling. Rodrigo thinks they are disrespecting the house and not taking it seriously. He starts having words with Siavash but he seems to calm down.

  • They get face paints from the shopping list and theres a funny scene where Halfwit is done up by Charlie as a cat and he’s purring in the Diary room whilst also discussing the dynamics depending on who goes. Charlie also plays a skit of ‘bad X Factor auditions’ with Lisa and Karly.
  • Eviction Panel is Geoffrey Beattie and Mel Blatt from All Saints. Kris is evicted and surprised that they actually refer to Dogface by name. Sree is back on Big Mouth, with Kris, John McCririck and Jarred Christmas. Brian Belo was at some strip bar for his BDay, but comes to studio where BB8’s Carole jumps out of a big cake. Musical guest was Professor Green.

  • BBLB: They again did a fair bit with the Evictee, Kieran Richardson and Andy Moss from Hollyoaks did a ‘Bollyoaks’ skit with Sree, Liam (BB8) took him out on the streets to talk to girls, He had a swimming lesson with Lee Kern, He had a memory quiz against an expert, and there was a movie puns VT on Big Mouth.
  • Iain Lee’s segment had the first Dutch BB winner on the phone, The Dutch BB also filmed an episode of The Weakest Link featuring the housemates as task while the show was still on. Interesting.
  • Some other guests included Jodie Marsh, Nick from BB1. Quiz of The Decade had Luke and Bex (BB9) on the Sunday ep singing with the band, then Moved into semi’s with a second round of trying to pick which ex housemate was telling a truthful story. there was either egg on head if wrong or Davina drawing on your face in the other ep. They had Narinder (BB2) & Billi (BB8), and Dale (BB9) & Suzie (BB7) on the second ep.
  • Speaking of ex housemates, week 6 is the anniversary special week (there was a promo included in this week’s eps. A few of them will be visiting next week, and also Intruders on Friday!

    Onto the next few episodes!

Ok I'm back on my BB10 watch. Before jumping back in I went and watched the BBQuiz pre launch week episode they did with Davina Hosting featuring teams of Ulrika (CBB6) & Luke (BB9), Nikki Grahame (BB7) & Jack Whitehall, Jamelia & Brian Dowling (BB2), and Danny Wallace & Brian Belo (BB8).

They had ex housemates in the audience and a mini eviction of the ex-housemate from the lowest scoring team after each round and replaced them (with Derek & Eugene from BB6). They also had to design a fragrance for Makosi & Kemal (BB6), Jonty (BB8) and Mikey (BB9)

Alos there was a funny bit where Charley (BB8) was in a box from BB6's box task and they had to ask questions to guess who was in there, Davina holding up a card 'lets keep her in there', but Nikki didnt understand the task and only 1 or two questions in goes 'Its Charley!' LOL.

BBUK10 Week 6:
  • A lot went on this week between the 10th Anniversary week celebrations (actually 9th but I can see how they might’ve thought why not go all out just in case the show finished up its initial run there, and of course they had a proper 10 year thing in a way the next year with UBB), New Housemates capping off the week, and also just some dramatics of their own making.
  • The week began with nominations being moved forward a day to take place on the Sunday. Halfwit theorising about Lisa’s position as an alpha, now Kris is gone Her and Karly may be trying to take Dogface under their side. Lisa also is really noticing Marcus being extra clingy with Noirin lately. He’s always asking her for cuddles, spends a whole heap of time painting a mural on her back. Meanwhile Noirin is taking some time to get over the whole Rabbit argument and some of them are starting to notice her becoming distant.
  • Dogface and Siavash’s avoid noms punishment is to not say any of the nominated swear words on a list until 3pm. The other housemates try to work out what their specific task is, until Dogface inadvertently says a swear and Siavash also then decides to throw it in. Actual noms take place and theres a tie on 4 points between Lisa, Noirin, Karly and Marcus until Siavash’s noms push Karly and Noirin over the line to be up with him and Dogface. Halfwit finally not only gets a week off, but managed not to cop any noms at all this week.

  • The Shopping task is going to be 9 revisits of various tasks from the previous nine seasons, where one of the remaining 9 will take on an ex-hm guest from that season. Rodrigo gets the shits with Charlie again for not listening to him when he was saying which one he wanted to put himself down for, made worse when His task (BB3) was the only one not to have the ex housemates actually in the house, it was a re-do of the time they had to bet on who would win the egg and spoon race taking place outside the house. It was Sophie, Alex (who was still in the house at the original) and Lee. Maybe they could have had Rodrigo do it in the garden with just one of them or something, or guessed with Alex or someone in the Diary room out of Lee and Sophie I thought perhaps.
  • But anyways, Rodrigo later see’s what Dogface has to do for BB5 (Sing Pie Jesu in the garden against Michelle Bass to be voted on by viewers online) and appreciates his task was relatively simple, and also all of the housemates got to interact properly with Brian Belo for BB8’s task which had him and Charlie doing word association in the diary room.

  • The other tasks were BB1: Halfwit vs Craig Phillips obstacle course, BB2: Lisa vs Dean Sugar Cube tower (which Dean throws last second letting Lisa win), BB4: Noirin vs Federico Gymkhana horse jumping course (which IIRC Fed wasn’t even in the house for, Ray or someone else wasn’t available maybe?). He also purposely lets slip about Michael Jackson’s passing, which BB later confirms to Noirin that she can tell the rest of the house afterwards.
  • BB6 had Siavash face Makosi and Craig in the box task (Makosi saying some cryptic comments and bullshit which gets Dogface and the others paranoid for a bit), BB7 was Karly vs Nikki Graham in the silent disco task (Marcus having a good perve at Nikki through the sitting room window), and BB9 had Rex come in to take on Marcus in the zappy suits metal ring course task.
  • The housemates failed more than 3 tasks and failed the entire task, however, those that kept their suit on (except Noirin and Lisa who made a huge deal about having had enough, Lisa later having a bit of an argument with Halfwit about it) got to either take a Token or swap it for a prize, Karly gets some cigs for her an Lisa, however the matches wont light because they are wet and Marcus has to dry them out for them, Marcus swapped his for a date behind the diary room with Noirin, Dogface got a visit from her Chihuahua, and Siavash swapped for a big bag of crisps and cans of cider. Halfwit took the token.

  • Before the final task (from BB9) the housemates out of boredom, staged a protest, mainly led by Marcus and Halfwit, climbing up to the roof, joined by Noirin, Charlie and Siavash (who suddenly remembers he doesn’t like heights). After they are ordered down by BB, Marcus is told they can express themselves however they like as long as it’s safe. Cue them letting off the fire extinguisher, and throwing some fixtures in the pool, which gets Rodrigo riled up again as BB temporarily removes most of the main room and outdoor furniture and ornaments the next day and Rodrigo has a go at Halfwit not taking it seriously and thinking its funny. The furniture is temporarily moved to the BBLB set, the day Emma Willis and Rex were on guessing which dish Rex had prepared from either the Luxury or Basic budget.
  • Before that they also all sat in the diary room demanding a party and covering the Diary room camera and microphone. Lisa, Karly and Rodrigo walk out though after a while thinking its becoming silly, and after they all come out I think Charlie seemed a little over it too. Meanwhile Marcus, Halfwit etc start smudging over the main room mirror windows before giving up.
  • Things get a bit out of hand again with Charlie and Rodrigo when play fighting in the bedroom, Charlie lobs a cup of water at Rodrigo and Rodrigo retaliates emptying the remainder of a bottle of cooking oil over Charlie’s duvet and throwing the empty bottle at him. BB calls Rodrigo to the Diary room to calm down, later helping Charlie clean up.

  • Eviction Night saw the 5 new housemates enter just before the announcement. First we have a kinda Nicole and Rex situation from last season. The ‘Baller’ who is cashed up is Karly’s boyfriend, Kenneth. There’s also Bea, who has a bit of a hippy vibe and seems to be getting along with Halfwit, another gay housemate David, we might see Charlie either get along with or could it be a little like Josh and Brian Dowling from BB2? we’ll see. Hira is originally from Pakistan, and then lastly Tom who is very built.
  • Karly is evicted, kinda a surprise I thought Noirin might go, but it also brings an interesting situation where its like two ships passing, She’s out and her boyfriend has just come in and also seems keen enough to get on with his time in there either way. And from what Karly was saying about him, we could be in for a handful, we shall see.
  • Judy James was back on the panel alongside Kathy Burke this week. But we’re not done yet, theres a twist for this upcoming week; a new housemate was called to the diary room, its Hira, who is asked to select at random two balls with housemates names. She picks Halfwit and Noirin, whom she and the other newbies now have a secret mission this week to ensure get nominated lest the newbies will all be up for next weeks eviction. She exits after trying to clarify with BB and at first it looks ultra suss, but she manages to get the other new hm’s aside and onboard explaining it.

  • This week had a lot of Ex-Hm’s on BBLB both the ones participating in the task and also some others including 6 of the nine previous main series winners on the Friday Birthday show (which also had Keith Lemon following George around). Kathreya (BB9) was a bouncer in the Skins guests’s invitation game, Samanda (BB8) cheered on George and Brian Belo outside in a mash up of the tasks relay, Brian won a signed single of Dane Bowers’ song with Victoria Beckham. They also had Donal McIntyre back on and a 'rumpologist' analysing some of the housemates bums.
  • There was also the final semi of the QOTD, which featured Nikki Grahame and Stuart from BB2, then the final had the 3 finalists answer a set of questions from a specific season (drawn by Suzie from BB7) where the result was played to a housemate from that year getting buzzed in real time by George for wrong answers, including Luke (BB9), Alison Hammond (BB3) and Darren (BB1).
  • Kris posed as mannequins at a clothes store with Lee Kern in a VT interview, Angel wrote a song and filmed a music video for the Friday show. Big Mouth also had a load of ex-hms on it (guests Olivia Lee and Jarred Christmas) and played some clips. Brian Belo was dressed as Geri from Spice girls and danced with Karly and September who was the musical guest singing Cry For You.

    Onto the next few episodes!

Yes, there was an annoying habit in UK TV for a few years of shows celebrating their "10th anniversary" in their 10th series, which usually meant it was their actual 9th series. BB was commissioned through to 2010 at that point so they knew they'd be around a year later.

I think that round up sums up what a mess BB10 was - the show had lost about half it's viewership in two years at that point (mainly thanks to axing the live feed) but after a week which might entice people back by bringing in ex-HMs and classic tasks they just desperately throw in 5 more people, although to be fair probably needed them to get through the remaining 7 weeks. I guess their logic was that returning viewers might be enticed by new HMs if they weren't that fond of the originals.

BBUK10 Week 7 (Part A)
  • Another pack filled week! First up there was the 10th Season Party in the task room with previous housemates faces plastered along the walls. Theres a bit of drama when Lisa’s drink was taken by somebody, they hold a big meeting about it and suddenly Siavash is throwing Tom under the bus, He goes and shows Lisa that it couldn’t have been him and Siavash apologises. Meanwhile Noirin is confiding in Dogface that she’s feeling watched by Marcus as usual and might fancy Tom.
  • Later Noirin and Tom are chatting in the bed together and Marcus walks in and it’s awkward. Marcus has been in a mopey mood a lot of the week, He’s not happy about the whole Tom thing and thinks he’s a wanker, Noirin again tries to be assertive about telling him he should just accept their friendship as it is and get on with it. Marcus protests in a chat with Lisa that it’s not a crush thing but also Noirin gives off mixed signals like everything revolves around her kinda thing.

  • David gets a bit frustrated that he seems to be the only one trying to get the secret mission rolling and whether he should just let it be. Meanwhile, Bea gets really offended about Kenny and Tom putting the pressure on her to sell halfwit out by getting him more or less to self nominate by saying he’d never nominate Bea as an easy way out.
  • This comes to a head as Kenny storms out of the bedroom telling the others that Bea is trying to intimidate him, which then causes a standoff between them outside when Bea calls him out on it. He starts rattling off about ‘having spoken to ‘dangerous people’ but this something else, and ‘outside the house, this would’ve been ‘dealt with’. Bea gets wind of this through Charlie, and comes to the diary room for BB to review it.
  • It’s not looking good for Kenny, as aside from this Noirin and Dogface both have noted he’s started flirting with Dogface and being a bit weird with her, thinking he’s a womaniser, also there were some choice words in a discussion with Tom about Dogface in the sitting room that didn’t come off at all well. Charlie and some of the others pull him up about it as in what would Karly think, but he reckons she would understand its only a joke.
  • BB formally pulls him up on the ‘dealt with’ comments, he explains it and also to Lisa and the others as he meant his Bodyguards would have removed either of them from that situation before it escalated to that point. He is on monitoring. He later apologises to Bea though as well, and she actually starts to feel a bit sorry for him and offers to take him out to a festival in a more ‘relaxed’ setting without needing the bodyguards and the high money lifestyle kinda thing IYKWIM.

  • Nominations take place, however simultaneous to this Siavash and some of the others hatch a plan to put them all up cause they don’t want to nominate. Only Lisa and Rodrigo stay out of it, but they give bullshit reasons , Dogface refuses to give a second name, and they target Charlie and Lisa on purpose, with those 2 receiving the most votes. BB reveals that and the secret task, which the newbies have failed, BUT the rules breaks mean that everyone else bar Lisa and Rodrigo are also up this week.

  • New Task, Greek Week, Lisa, David and Dogface are manning a Kebab stand at the pool, similar to the gelato orders task, Halfwit, Bea, Marcus, Kenny and Tom are Olympic gods, Bea Is Aphrodite and will go on a date with a viewer ‘Robin’ winning BBLB’s comp, Halfwit is Zeus and has to motivate the others. He puts this into practice when Rodrigo and Charlie have another hissy fit with each other over Charlie telling him to shut up and calling him something thats bleeped out when Rodrigo keeps repeating it when practicing for the Stavros Flatley dance routine (from BGT 2009) which they get over it and perform later.

BBUK10 Week 7 (Part B)
  • Noirin, Siavash and Hira do a 15 minute ‘changing of the presidential guard’ routine. Bea says she now feels sorry for Kenny and wants to take him under his wing out to ‘normal clubs’ and festivals without his bodyguards so he can relax and chill. Later Kenny is having a teary in he diary room after BB asks him to collect Karly’s the pills she left. Charlie holds up the kebab shop with one of the gun props lol.
  • BB reveals to Halfwit that the rest of the tasks are all cover for Zeus being the main task. He has to select an opponent to challenge Kratos (Marcus) Hades (Wealth, Kenneth) and Atlas (Tom) and at least 2 of the 3 need to win to pass the overall task. Picking Tom Vs Marcus for an arm wrestle (the first attempt is deemed invalid as Marcus lifts himself off the chair, also on BBLB it was George Vs Davina in the Big Mouth Set) but ultimately wins the second, to Halfwits dismay, which tips the others off.
  • He would’ve failed the task anyway regardless as BB says because he starts ‘encouraging’ Tom to lose his task against Marcus with holding weights in the air for endurance.
  • Second task is Kenneth and Siavash guessing prices of object such as pint of milk, Ferrari, House and loaf of bread. It’s 3 all until the final question of the house, which Kenny gets nearly on the money. Halfwit has to walk outside as he knows they’ve already failed, and just comes right out with it. BB announces it not long after.

  • Later Kenneth is still disturbed by the whole looking for Karly’s contraceptives thing and is paranoid Karly is sending him a message despite BB saying otherwise. He leaves the diary room saying he will think if he can continue, then after a chat with Marcus in the early hours, Marcus helps him escape as soon as they are let into the garden in the morning! by climbing up on the roof and over the wall, returning to the house where he asks BB and says He will be punished later.
  • The eviction is cancelled even though there were many other options, but it’s revealed Kenneth was already in the lead when the vote closed anyway and I guess they got a juicy eviction interview out of it anyway (as much as Kenneth being very upfront and apologetic about his behaviour) as they brought Karly back and also had some discussion points with Panelists Geoffrey Beattie and Terry Christian. Jodie Marsh and Tom Allen were on Big Mouth with Karly & Kenneth, Rex and Sree were in the audience, ‘Young Fathers’ were the musical act alongside Brian Belo making an appearance as ‘Stavros Belo’ haha.

  • The next morning everyone discovers Kenneth has left. Marcus gets pulled up for both his threatening language toward Tom and also they bought a mystery prize on shopping list which turned out to be a Jail near the pool that is locked with a key from the Hatch. Marcus gets sent there. Hira and Siavash sing How Do I Live to him. Rodrigo gets shitty about not being listened to for the shopping list by Noirin. Lisa is annoyed with Noirin something about chatting with Charlie about her being off to herself now her clique is gone and perhaps getting next to go.
  • Theres another big twist though - in the previous episode it seemed like Siavash was gearing himself up to tell Noirin about noms or something but it looked like it was actually to tell her he likes her! on Fridays ep They get closer and end up spooning in bed and having a kiss!

  • The next day Tom and Noirin Discuss Melbourne, No one else knows about Noirin and Siavash’s kiss until Noirin gets the guilts and explains it to Dogface and Bea that she likes both Siavash and actually likes tom but then how to tell Marcus!
  • Marcus and Tom have a disagreement when Tom is in jail noticing Siavash having a private convo in the sitting room and tells Siavash he dosent mind being nominated or something like that.
  • Dogface tries to match make telling Tom to go for it before she knows about Noirin and Siavash. Noirin breaks it off with Siavash in the Kitchen before telling Marcus as well and they end things on a bit of an awkward note nothing left to say to each other for the night. She hasn’t really told either of them yet that she fancies Tom after all as well. Hmm. We’ll see where it goes from here into week 8.

  • BBLB: Varied guests this week again including Brian Dowling doing arrivals PA Calls for the newbies F & F, also helping the Shipwrecked 2009 winner walk the plank (This ep was Pirate themed with a parrot on George’s shoulder throughout. later they also had Keith Harris and Orville the Duck puppet on).
  • Vanessa Feltz helped George phone the BB Bulgaria host this week (Netherlands was last week), Whilst Jon Tickle (BB4) sung the outro ‘Rocket Man’ with the band.
  • Sree had a 2 part dates VT, whilst Lee Kern took Kris to visit Halfwit’s F&F at their estate. He also participated in a game with Caprice (CBB3) playing guess the prices of food. Preston (CBB4) was driven in by Siavash’s dad driving the taxi apparently, playing a make a male housemate face using various meats game. Makosi (BB6) came on as ‘Agent X’ about the secret mission, and Gerry (BB8) was back about the date with ‘Robin’.
  • Sam & Mark from Pop Idol came and did the Stavros Flatley dance with the duo themselves, Myke Hawke survivalist guy came back on, There was Ronnie Thompson and former prison officer/negotiator and author, and Karly was in a ‘half term report’ game with Zoe Salmon and Grace Dent.
  • Onto the next few episodes!

BBUK10 Week 8 Part A
  • Another really wacky week! Wait until you hear what stunt they pulled this week!
  • First up we had Tom trying to give Bea some friendly tip about watching how she is with Halfwit if it might be viewed as more than platonic on the outside. Bea then mentions it to Halfwit who at first takes it as Tom trying to shit stir when he brings it up with him, then Tom gets annoyed with Bea like its actually her doing the shit stirring when she was just casually mentioning it to Halfwit. Tom and Siavash have also joke shaved one eyebrow off each the previous day (Siavash his right, Tom his left) which makes it a little distracting at times lol.
  • Tom chats with Dogface about getting bored and also the simmering drama has him contemplating leaving or staying just for the eviction interview. Meanwhile Marcus has gone right off Noirin and Siavash now, it was like this was the last straw that’s made him have this epiphany about her and so he’s back to having a slump where he’s ‘Duvet diving’ as Davina put it and having low effort conversations with whoever is nearby.
  • Tom also reveals to Charlie what’s been going on, who initially dosent believe him, but once he realizes he’s being serious that Noirin and Siavash kissed, comes to the Diary room emulating Sally Field in Mrs Doubtfire telling BB all about it ‘THE WHOLE TIME’ lol. He also spills the goss to Rodrigo.
  • Tom has made up his mind and can also see right through Noirin that she’s being very flimsy and has a whole lot of baggage, as well as thinking theres hardly anyone left he can forsee gelling with to stick it out any further and he’s satisfied with the week he’d had of the BB experience. As the house is waiting for BB to make arrangements for him to leave, Marcus calls out Noirin for saying tio Tom that she thought he was stronger than that. He also leaves some doubt with Dogface about whether Kris will be there when she comes out for ‘the right reasons’, before exiting the house. (Kris later appeared on BBLB to clear it up once more).

  • There is a mini Token task where the housemates watch Lisa do a ‘Frog or Toad?’ quiz in the diary room, and Marcus does one on whether percentages are mathematical or nonsense. Marcus thinks one of Lisa’s in particular was bullshit as he thought for sure it was a ‘Natterjack Toad’ not a ‘Cranwell Horned Frog’ (I looked them up and he’s not right though). He wins the Tokens on his task but immediately forfeits them as he called BB a wanker at the start and slapped the board down at the end. Bea has a go at him that despite the task being silly, there wasnt any need to be like taht and feed into BB perhaps expecting him to react poorly like that kinda thing IYKWIM. This though sends Halfwit into a moment of emotional frustration on Marcus’ behalf as he attempts to explain to Bea later that she could’ve approached it in a more tactful way considering Marcus mood about the whole Noirin and Siavash situation at the minute. Later Bea goes for a cuddle with Marcus. The housemates have an animal masks par ty where Duran Duran’s ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’ plays.

  • Siavash gets paranoid when Bea tells him about Noirin being wishy washy about her feelings between him and Tom that She only see’s it as a fling and not intending to continue anything after the show. Add to this not even a day after Noirin seemingly pulling back from Siavash, they’re back to spooning, kissing and cuddling, although to her bare minimum credit I guess, she is still stopping him from taking it too far and reiterating that she dosent want a relationship and this is just a bit of fun Explaining it like that to Charlie as well .This also leads to a bizarre exchange when Siavash comes in to the sitting room and sits by a sleeping Marcus for half an hour trying to ball up the courage to wake him up for a chat. They end up having it out the next night but it’s still awkward as Siavash struggles to find the words to say except that he’s sorry the way things have turned out. Especially after nominations are announced, (Noirin Vs Marcus, they even nominated each other) which throws Siavash for a loop.

  • The Shopping task is similar to last season’s Bunraku Puppetry, this time though its a team of six each (Marcus is involved on both sides to make up numbers) to perform a girl band routine to Girl’s Aloud’s ‘Something Kinda Oooh’ and a Boy Band to Take That’s ‘Could It Be Magic’. The result is left to the website viewers. Charlie and Lisa have a last minute bicker in rehearsal with Bea attempting to mediate. Viewers voted 55% nay on the performance though, but The housemates successfully mimed to BB’s satisfaction so they win a prize.
  • Marcus asks for Fish and Chips and drinks, and they are delivered by…. Noirin’s Ex Isaac! whom she has been going on about still being hung up on and also revealed he was on a reality show in Australia (as it turns out one of the few seasons of ’The Real World' to be filmed outside the US in 2007 or 08). This further does a doozy on Siavash who cant believe it, as Noirin just drops him to get back with Isaac, who tells her in the bedroom ‘Daddy’s Back’. which is a bit cringe. Apparently he was a bit of a youtube personality at the time as well with some miming clips surfacing on BBLB.

BBUK10 Week 8 Part B

  • Bea starts having a bitch about some of the others particular Lisa sticking her nose into things and even growing weary of Halfwit overanalyzing others in the house, as well as him seeming to be having a bit of a ‘randy’ day coming across a tad ‘sleazy’ on their discussions about ‘free love’ arrangements and Halfwit mentioning he 'likes to teach lovers' or something (although on the other hand, Bea has also been joking around that she might fancy Siavash, and also commenting that Isaac is attractive she can see at least that part of the appeal for Noirin even though he comes across a bkit of a buffoon or a typical himbo/american jock). They later clear the air and reconcile again though.
  • It’s super awkward especially for Siavash who looks like he just wants the ground to swallow him up cause the situation of the house means he cant escape them unless he walks. But he also seems to understand it is what it is and needs siome time to work through it. He does some duvet diving of his own and sleeps in the sitting room.
  • Bea however tries to put her 2c in in front of Isaac, when She should probably just leave it be. She sounds off in the diary room on Siavash’s behalf, that she dosent like the way Noirin dropped Siavash. and the morning of the eviction, has another go at Noirin about it to which Noirin calls her a nosy cow. Bea also rubs it in a bit by organising a support rally for Marcus in the diary room and making and wearing an ‘M’ Shirt to wear for the eviction. Isaac also tries to give Siavash his hat as a peace offering in exchange for the earrings he gave Noirin, which both parties end up declining.
  • It’s Noirin who is evicted, and the panellists are Jo Whiley and Judy James (again). Isaac walks out after her to join on Big Mouth, saying he felt Charlie deserved to win the money instead of him who was more of a guest. Also on Big Mouth was Brian Belo dressing up as Davina and attempting the intro, Pete Burns, Aled Haydyn Jones, Tom in the Audience and the Musical guest was ‘Frankmusik’. Jonty (BB8) was part of a VT featuring some of the other BB10 evictees (including Beinazhir) parodying adjusting to the outside world after the house.

  • Rodrigo and Charlie have another spat after Charlie expresses disappointment in some of them not offering to say goodbye to Noirin, whereas Lisa suggests she also didn’t bother coming over to them or saying anything either.
  • I understand both sides a little bit here, as obnoxious at times as Noirin has been about things that it didnt come off in the best light for her and left a bad taste in peoples mouth kinda thing, OTOH she did have a point and was fairly upfront about what she saw the fling with Siavash as as casual. Siavash even understood that and came out of it seemingly with eyes mostly wide open, even though some part of him as Judy James suggested may have been ignoring her words for her receptive seeming actions and may have held onto a small chance maybe she might reassess things and want to take things further with him outside the house. But then throwing Isaac into that confined situation, and Noirin with her messy hang ups just cast Siavash aside like nothing without tact just threw that completely out the window, and Siavash would need to just deal with it.
  • I also do have a theory that maybe Siavash could also perhaps be playing a hell of a game plan, (I couldnt work out if he was saying in the diary room the girlfriend on the outside was a complete fabrication just to avoid getting into a showmance, but then Davina mentioned the reported 'girlfriend' has removed him from mention on her socials or something on Big Mouth) and Ive thought that since the whole rabbit gate thing. Some of them seem to think Bea has a bit of a calculated side, and Marcus has voiced his opinion in the Diary room that maybe Siavash might try and play out this sympathy card a little longer. We shall see. It’s definitely, as a bit of a pattern in the last few series, marked another bit of a tent pole for a dynamic shift change in the house heading into the final weeks. I’m also kinda glad that Noirin’s gone, I think it was starting to be played out and a good time for her to leave, hogging a bit of the edit and the whole Isaac thing contriving it a little bit, although it certainly was a crazy twist at the same time.

  • BBLB: Only Sunday’s BBLB this week was 46 mins, the rest all 22. They are beginning another viewer competition though - to come in and do some tasks to win being BB and speak to the diary room. Tom joined Karly and Kenneth for a courtroom skit with Iain Lee and David Schneider, Karly sang ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ as the band outro. BB Israel was the International segment this week.
  • Angel was back to play a game with Junior Simpson judging the walkers, and stepping into their gunky shoes. Eugene (BB6) joined Kate Quiton for Webwatch, Tina Malone and George tried doing the puppetry dance routine, and Friday’s ep had Davina on with Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee doing some magic tricks. They also manned a fish and chip stand for the F&F pleas.

    Onto the next few episodes!

BBUK10 Week 9 Done
  • The housemates are given a little mini task to perform a little talent show. Halfwit sings a song that was meant to impress Bea. At the end, BB asks ‘the most judgemental housemates to the diary room to pick the most and least entertaining. David volunteers but some of the others think Marcus should’ve gone. David picks Hira’s ‘I Know You Can, Yeahiy, Yeah’ ad libbed song and dance as most entertaining, while Dogface’s rap ends up bottom.
  • Marcus and Halfwit discuss Lisa and David, Lisa having laid low for a few weeks may start scheming again, and David for being a ‘food bandit’. David also expresses in the diary room that he’s wary of Bea. Later Bea and David have a disagreement about David using Noirin’s leftover portion of the butter, which sets the scene for some clashes during the week. David bitches to Lisa about it and also saying he’ll take Marcus on as well.

  • The next morning David brings up the butter thing with Bea in the Kitchen to her face and how he didn’t like it, which Bea gets offended by him suddenly seeming to turn on her and being ‘horrible’ and a ‘bully’. They have a heated exchange which spill out into the rest of the house. Marcus and Halfwit try to weigh in, but Bea also cant help butting in and David ends up storming off outside to chat to Lisa, Dogface and Hira. He’s a bit upset at being levelled a bully its a strong word.
  • During the preparation for the days’ Token task (which Marcus enjoys the shorter one day and done tasks thinking it was BB taking his suggestion on board) which is 5 of them as caterpillars wrapped in cling wrap and trying to stand up within a time limit (Noirin has a go on BBLB and its a bit of an online trend/challenge as well), David and Bea appear to clear the air, but she’s still a bit wary/critical of him in the diary room (that he’s like a ‘Yorkshire pudding’).
  • Bea also has been expressing that she feels a little suffocated at times by Halfwit hanging around her (such as popping up for a chat when she wants some alone time in the bath for his turn etc) and He kindof puts her on the spot whether she fancies him and where they’re at late one night in bed, probably a conversation better left for another time. They end up clearing that up the next day and opting to remain as friends.

  • Bea offers to teach Rodrigo some elocution lessons if he wants to meet the Queen. BB decides to attempt to send a letter to The Queen on his behalf if he can write it in 30 minutes. The rest of the housemates help him, particularly Hira. On BBLB theres a VT where Brian Belo attempts to find out where to send it.
  • Siavash starts being cryptic to the others that he’s going to try a way to take himself out of the game from here on out. He tells BB he wont be nominating ever again so that he will go up every week now until he goes. This backfires spectacularly, along with Marcus hinting to the others he’d like to go home this week, which Dogface calls Marcus out on what he’s trying to do, as when Siavash confidently confirms his intentions in the Diary room, BB turns it back on him telling him the house will be punished and he cant take it back and now nominate. He Tells Lisa and David at first, but then goes back on it in case he gets them in trouble specifically, but then tells Marcus about what it could be, who has been sent to jail for temporarily showing Bea and Halfwit how to create a blind spot in the toilet by removing the mirror.

  • Shopping task is Alice in Wonderland themed. Among the tasks are Siavash as White Rabbit, who must keep appointment times and eat carrots whilst in his hutch at the appointments, Dogface as The Mad Hatter identifying different cups of Tea, and Rodrigo as Cheshire Cat, who must head to the Looking Glass and smile behind it only if the song being played by BB has the world ‘Smile’ in it. The first track was The Killers’ ’Smile Like You Mean It’.
  • Hira as Alice, had to come to the Diary room, drink a potion that made her small, go to the mini task room and use only her mouth to search a giant cupcake for a key to return to the diary room large, where she then had to make herself cry to finish the task and walk back into the house fanning herself to return to ’normal size’. She spent over 5 hours (with some break as shown on the other shows) before BB told her she can also use her Face to move the cake around.
  • While Hira was behind the diary room, nominations are announced. It was Marcus Vs Bea, but due to Siavash and Marcus rule breaks, The whole house is up, and unbeknownst to them, this time it’s a vote to SAVE. Rodrigo cracks the shits again, at Halfwit and Marcus thinking it’s funny, which sets off David and Lisa again, as Halfwit descends into maniacal laughter over the thought of Lisa’s (and David) ‘game plan’ coming undone and teasing her about it. Bea keeps on asking David what she’s done to make him flip on her so much, and Marcus also lays into David calling him a fat C*** about the food hoarding thing. David mishears Marcus saying that he ‘punked’ him as ‘punched’ him and squares up to take Marcus on before BB intervenes and separates them, clarifying what was actually said in the diary room, after which both have calmed down and apologised to each other.

  • Charlie & Marcus bake a whole lot of tarts as the Queen/Knave of Hearts, which ties into the 4 Playing Cards (Bea, Lisa, Halfwit and David)’s task which have an eating challenge on top of 4 of the empty tart shells: Wasabi, Pigs Eyeballs, ‘head cheese’ and Tail. Eastenders David Spinx had a go at it on BBLB and Brian Belo had a slightly modified version on Big Mouth, both in front of Davina. The F&F were all dressed as the characters eating cupcakes in contrast, while girl group ‘Girls Can’t Catch’ did some Tea guessing whilst Rob Deering face planted some ladies in cake for incorrect answers.
  • To finish the task, BB threw a Mad Hatter party in the task room, where it was revealed everyone passed and therefore passed the week’s shopping task. Bea asked Marcus whether she had been coming across a bit of a whinger/moaner lately, while Dogface a bit tipsy was doing a bit of bend and snap.

  • Now heres where im having to do a bit of cross referencing for episode coverage again from here on out but its cool for now, from what I gathered for the daily show happenings for Thursday/Friday through BBLB news etc (only second part of Eviction was available) was that Lisa and Halfwit chilled again with a bit of beatboxing, Bea and Lisa had some type of trade off about Frosties Cereal, and after being fairly amicable and even a bit smoochy all week, Rodrigo and Charlie kicked off again after Charlie attempted to drag Rodrigo out of bed to throw in the pool, the others getting Rodrigo’s mattress wet, and then Rodrigo trying to take Charlie’s mattress which resulted in things getting a bit heated and Rodrigo getting called to the diary room to cool off.
  • Davina read out who was safe in no particular order one by one, leaving Lisa and Hira, and Hira evicted. Panellists were Bob Mortimer and Emma Kennedy (who also appeared on the following Big Mouth audience along with Boyd Hilton (Friday’s BBLB) and Grace Dent. Guests there were Matt Horne and John McCririck (who also was on BBLB during the week playing a spin the coke bottle segment). Trip was the Big Mouth musical guest.
  • Theres been a bit of discussion at this point around Bea being somewhat polarising on the outside, and Lisa perhaps being in sights as possibly soon to go. A few names being thrown around as potential winners too like Siavash, Dogface, Charlie, Rodrigo etc.

  • Also on BBLB included BB6’s Derek choosing between Angel (BB10) and Glyn (BB7)’s soapbox pleas, Glyn also sang Wham’s ‘I’m Your Man’ with the band as the Sunday closer. BBInternational segment was The Phillipines. Some more guests included Rav Wilding from Crime Watch back, Toploader’s Dan Hipgraves on for housemates backgrounds international destinations, and William Hanson etiquette expert. Kenneth had a VT working a day at a car wash/detailer, and Noirin and Tom appeared in a funny fragrance commercial spoof on Big Mouth as well as Hira singing How Do I Live off key and out of sync a little bit haha.

    Onto the next few episodes!

BBUK10 Week 10 Part A:
  • The week kicked off with a token task where 4 of them had to spin around to was it the 1991 Vic Reeves version of ‘Dizzy’ or the original then place a block in a slot within 30 seconds.
  • Another big argument night session blows wayyy out of proportion as Dogface discovers a cigarette stash in Marcus’ drawer. As they discuss with Marcus whatever his reasoning would be for stashing cigarettes from the Alice in wonderland party as a non smoker (he reckons he had made clear with everyone had taken what they wanted before doing it to help ration it out or something), He mistakes Bea’s shocked expression as something more than it is. whilst Bea insists to Marcus after he comes out side again to confront Halfwit and Bea about it that she dosent give a shit about the cigs or why he has them, she was just puzzled that Marcus would be the last person she’d expect to hoard cigarettes.
  • She gets increasingly agitated and upset about it as Marcus dosent seems to believe her, and its also causing another argument between Charlie and Halfwit, Charlie going on a tirade about Halfwit scheming and coming across to throw Dogface under the bus for starting this whole thing in the first place. Dogface starts expressing she might as well go up for nominations, so there’ll be more punishment on the way. Anyhow everyone calms down a bit and Charlie tells Halfwit they should just drop it and not speak around any more in circles to return to having a good night.

  • The next day, anarchy breaks out again as Halfwit, Siavash and Marcus keep ignoring the baby crying alarm. The 3 of them are called to the diary room, where they attempt to sleep, Siavash muffling the diary room speaker. They get sent to jail, however break out and refuse to go back in so are called to the diary room again where they are told there’ll be further consequences for the entire house, as Rodrigo and Dogface attempt to reason with them and telling Marcus he can still ‘be himself’ he dosent need to resort to this OTT rule breaking behaviour. Rodrigo and Charlie also start bickering again over Charlie seeming to express his understanding of why they are kicking up a fuss. BB puts the Kitchen out of bounds for a bit and the housemates discover they have removed the luxury budget from them.
  • Halfwit keeps on trying to ‘mediate’ perceived tension between Bea and Marcus by trying to explain where each party was coming from, but Bea is getting tired of it, later telling Halfwit at the bus stop that she thinks he’s bored and getting paranoid and is needlessly trying to find things to fix or resolve that arent there, She and Marcus had already settled things for the time being.

  • Further ‘punishment’ before nominations is that BB tells them that the nominations rules are now altered, Housemates can now freely discuss nominations, past, present and future! At first I thought there could’ve been more to it, similar to the ‘nominations aren’t compulsory’ week twist in BB6, like for instance Rodrigo was the only one iirc that kept things to himself regardless of the rule change, so they could’ve perhaps had only his nominations count. As it came out to Marcus and Halfwit up anyway (whom Rodrigo nominated). It would’ve come out as the same result.
  • However, did they have this in mind and then just let nominations stand as per usual. But then we are left with this being a permanent rule change about discussing for the foreseeable future and not a one off thing (we are close to the end of nominations for this series anyway but at the same time it also felt maybe a week or so premature slightly in ways IMO). Maybe they could’ve also done something similar to that week in BB7 they forced the rule breakers to put someone up out of them, with the other nominee coming from the rest of the round of noms. only this time it would be the others doing face to face noms on which two they wanted up or to save like that twist they did week 1 of CBB6. Anyways, this match up is an interesting one.

  • Later Bea is still fed up with the negativity she feels coming from Halfwit and tells him she’s moving beds to get away from him. This really gets to him and he takes it to heart, struggling to articulate himself, ending up having a near nervous breakdown episode lying in bed crying at what he feels is Bea attacking him. Siavash, Bea and Marcus each attempt to come in and console him. After some time in the Diary room, he calms down.
  • The shopping task is another Country cultural type one, this time being ‘All Things British’ with a big red dragon sculpture in the yard and other UK things around. As roles are assigned, Rodrigo is already picked for Etiquette, choosing Dogface and Charlie to help him. Bea gets a little put off by drawing the short straw & missing out on that and also the Welsh Bog Swim (Given to Marcus and Siavash); but after seeing what they have to do, is happy with being put with Lisa and David picking a winner from a horse race they watch on screen. Lisa’s Horse ‘Recession Proof’ comes second, so they won no money for the budget on that one (this task isn’t pass fail but money from each part of the task). Halfwit successfully plays the bagpipes for 30 second duration.

  • Rodrigo being chosen by producers for the Etiquette challenge (Bea ends up helping him along with some of the others prepare anyway) ends up being tied into last week’s letter to The Queen. As BB details things to Rodrigo in the diary room, the others are watching as BB tells them they must convince Rodrigo he has actually had tea with the Queen (Impersonator Jeannette Charles visiting the diary room task room, also appearing on BBLB).
  • Whilst Rodrigo is meeting the Queen, Halfwit, Bea and Charlie discuss the ethics vs humiliation of it all if BB makes them keep up the ruse for the rest of the show vs telling him straightaway once the task is done. BB Tells Rodrigo right after the task, and he actually takes it in good stead. BB also gives him Buckingham palaces standard rejection letter, but at least it comes with a cup (and hey maybe he can go and try and meet her at some event or something). Also BB says there will be special prizes for all the housemates and… Messages from Home!. They’ve passed the task and get a dinner.

BBUK10 Week 10 Part B:
  • Bea is still bitching about Halfwit every now and then in the diary room. Marcus triggers her off one night as well by telling her that 4 million people on the outside are gonna think you’re the one being negative or something along those lines, and starts getting upset and a bit hysterical about being ‘bullied’ by Marcus, heading to the bathroom at first to have a cry, then to Diary room to calm down. Halfwit chimes in from the bedroom into the corridor picking up on he hypocrisy of Bea’s cant take it when dishing it out kinda comment, which starts off Charlie again, who is also present, telling him He hasn’t done anything to her yet she’s the one being ‘awful’ to him. Marcus, who has been trying to tell Bea not to get Halfwit riled up in case that makes him look less sympathetic to viewers who might vote him out instead, tells him to go to bed.
  • In the following 2 days as the prizes start coming in things clear up a little again. Marcus gets a camera and ‘fan mail’ to respond to and get a new publicity headshot to autograph, Charlie gets a half hour Girls Aloud listening party in diary room. Halfwit and Dogface also officially get to change their names back to Freddie and Sophie the day of the Eviction. They also get a Space Hopper as a prize from the shopping list. Later when they are being a bit rowdy with it in the corridor before taking it outside, Bea tells Lisa and David that she’s been civil with Freddie listening to him, but then also there are times like tonight he’s been coming across rather cocky lately about the eviction (vs also could be just remaining positive and making the most of his week in the house).
  • Sophie also got involved in Bea and David’s plot to move Tea Freddie was hiding in his drawer to Lisa’s, before BB guilts David into switching it back to consider Freddie’s state at the moment if it were to kick off. This confuses Bea who feels like that’s giving Freddie some special treatment as if he’s really that sensitive (Ironic given some of her recent blow ups) and its not even ‘his’ tea to hoard anyway kinda thing.
  • Bea gets pulled up for not wearing her microphone on multiple occasions getting dressed and gets put in Jail for it, much to Freddie’s amusement. She flips him the bird as he’s laughing when she has to go back in after a break.

  • Rodrigo and Charlie kick off again as they are all waiting for the eviction after Charlie makes a ‘joke’ that Rodrigo dosent have any friends as Rodrigo is discussing after parties when the show finishes with Freddie. Rodrigo gets in his face telling him to shut up.
  • Freddie is evicted (with a purple ‘Fox’ painted on his face) in a bit of a close vote, about 53%. Marcus is annoyed but was having a chat to Lisa beforehand that he might as well stay for as long as the public wants him, but ain’t gonna walk. He’s the self appointed ‘Irrepressible Dark Horse’ ya know. LOL. Eviction Panellists are Judy James and John McCririck. Big Mouth ep is missing from my sources atm, but I did catch a bit of it shown on VT on BBLB.
  • I thought Freddie could’ve gone a bit further, it’ll leave a bit of a dynamic shift now he’s gone, but as discussed at the same time with him coming across confident and also having a hard time with Bea, it could’ve also come across getting a bit stale at the same time. Marcus now could also be seen as becoming the new Rex kind of figure, depending on who he’s up against from here on out as well whether the public tire of him perhaps, we’ll see.
  • After the eviction Tensions are still high between Rodrigo and Charlie, with Charlie getting upset after Rodrigo called him out for mentioning to Sophie that Rodrigo follows him around ‘like a sheep’ (oh here we go again, Rabbit 2.0 lol). Later it blows up in a big way as Charlie and Bea loudly carry a tipsy Sophie into bed, which wakes up Rodrigo, who cracks the shits and gets right up in Charlie’s face again telling him to shut up. BB tries to intervene by calling Rodrigo to the diary room, not to tell him off, but to prevent the situation escalating any further. Rodrigo has a bit of a meltdown in the diary room, pacing and basically shrieking at BB that he wants to go and why did BB call him and not Charlie. After He calms down he returns to the bedroom and has a few more words with the others, before throwing some water on Charlie as Charlie is headed to the diary room called by BB to help calm the situation a bit more so they can all get to sleep.

  • BBLB: Some more guests included Lee Kern did more VT’s including an update on Kenneth & Karly, a picnic with Noirin, Halfwit’s friend Ravi was back doing a shopping cart run outside to bag some of the confiscated shopping, BB2’s Helen was on with Kate Quiton on the webwatch segment; Myke Hawke survival guy was back, Politician Lembit Opik, David Schneider, Hira.
  • Paul Danan took on the debating team, Brian Belo and Grace Dent also campaigned for Halfwit vs Bea. Shabnam (BB8) sang the band outro with ‘Umbrella’ on Sunday’s show. They’ve also begun the heats for the ‘Be BB’ comp, Some of the Sunday eps guest such as Michelle Heaton helped guide the contestants doing the ‘hanging chilli’s of Babylon’ task outside.
  • On Friday’s show they had Jim Jefferies on. Angel and Brian Belo did the horse jumping task race for the F&F pleas segment, and Calvin Harris was on doing a bit of a soundbite remix.

    Onto the next few episodes!

BBUK10 Week 11 Done:
  • Theres a few more missing eps from here on out that I can follow up later, (mainly Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday daily shows this week). But I’ve been able to connect the main points using BBLB News 25 segments.
  • There was a mini task as an ‘Alphabet game’ where they randomly chose a letter and had to say as many words as they could think of that started with it. Siavash won a hamper filled with ‘S’ things. George, Lisa Maffia Zaraah Abrahams and Freddie all played this in ‘21 Seconds’ on BBLB (reference to a So Solid Crew song).
  • Charlie plays a prank on Bea in the bedroom where he had a mouth full of water and spat it on her. They have a talk about it the next morning that she really didn’t appreciate it.

  • Messages from home were done with a bit of a twist - hologram style in the task room with everyone else watching in the sitting room. Sophie gets two - an additional one from Kris. Bea though gets triggered and massively underwhelmed by hers being from her friend Tea when she was hyping herself up to get one from her Mum. Although later in the diary room She discusses with BB that she knew that her Mum didn’t want to appear on TV so declined it in favour of one of her friends, and she doesn’t believe that it’s because her Mum is ashamed of her or anything like that.
  • Still, she keeps trying to over-justify and explain it to the others that she doesn’t want it to come off as ungrateful (Lisa is telling David it still kinda comes off that way), who find the whole thing getting a bit ridiculous, especially Rodrigo, who has gotten the giggles, which pisses Bea off, coming to the Diary room to have a whinge about how next time Rodrigo is having a drama about ‘nothing’, she might laugh at him with zero sympathy and see how he likes it. Later as Bea is telling Marcus and Charlie she’ll probably get nominated over it, She and Rodrigo tentatively truce.
  • Nominations: Siavash refuses to nominate again, and Sophie follows suit. BB tells them there will be consequences and they will end up nominating. That comes in the form of BB taking Siavash’s noms as the first two people he comes into contact with after leaving the Diary room, and Sophie’s as the first two people she mentions by name.

  • Shopping task is ‘House Of Horrors’ themed. When the sound starts everyone has to move around for a time like zombies. Bea enthusiastically puts her hand up to be Frankenstein’s Monster, until its revealed her and Charlie’s (as the Mad scientist) task is another shock pads one where Charlie has to retrieve 8 organs from a corpse operation style without touching the sides to shock Bea. On BBLB this was the F&F plea game featuring Glyn (BB7) getting shocked. Rodrigo and Sophie are vampires (I wasn’t able to glean so far what they had to do), Lisa and Siavash had to stand on a podium and change into Werewolves and howl, Marcus was the headless horseman, and David as a Skeleton had to pick out Marcus’ ‘Mummy’ from a lineup. He chose wrong. She later appeared on BBLB. Also BB9’s Lisa was a guest done up as Mummy on BBLB for Davina to guess.
  • Nominations are announced (Bea, Marcus and David), which causes a scene between Bea and David as he accuses her of nominating him when she panicked and told him she hadn’t the day before. Bea tries to keep explaining it again and Lisa has a bit of a go at her also as David has a bit of a falling out with her over her reasoning feeling flimsy to him (an offhand conversation about women with Large boobs getting further inn the fashion industry or something).
  • The next day they passed the task, David and Bea appear to be on speaking terms again, but something is overheard shouting over the wall to ‘get someone out’ and Bea thinks it’s David and wont stop going on about it despite David wanting to forget it. Soon she’s back in the Diary room having a bitch about him.

  • Shopping List, Rodrigo is back having a tanty over Marcus telling him to shut up after he has an argument with him and Charlie over it.
  • There’s a mini task to make their own BB magazine. with a twist, BB allows them to get inspiration from a heap of actual magazines brought in from while they’ve been in the house which also contain gossip columns about them. Sophie in particular isn’t impressed by the one speculating how she might be pregnant with Kris’ baby after some questionable action in the house and what she told Noirin (She said it was only a joke to get goss from her). Morseo she seems to have gone right off Kris now after reading his response to the claims as not dismissive enough and baiting the media that ‘a gentleman dosent kiss and tell’. There is also an article from Siavash’s girlfriend read out to him by Sophie from before he mucked around with Noirin. (She also appeared on Big Mouth to confirm she wont be taking him back).
  • Charlie is annoyed at Luke & Bex from last season saying he’s trying to act too nice, while Bea is referred to as ‘Bonkers Bea’. Charlie however finds a silver lining in the news about at that time Duncan James from Blue had come out as Bisexual (years later coming out fully as gay IIRC) lol.
  • Anyways they do the task, Marcus is editor, (BBLB have also been using his ‘new’ mugshot for their eviction numbers), Charlie and Bea are stylists making over Siavash and Sophie, Lisa is a gossip columnist, David a photographer, and Rodrigo a journalist, having sit down interviews with the nominees. This wins them a Magazine Launch party in the task room.

  • Day of the eviction BB gives them another mini task with Charlie as a conductor leading them in a whistling orchestra to the tune of ‘Summer Nights’ from Grease which satisfies BB through a ‘Booze o meter’ to win them lots of Booze. Bea jokingly annoys Marcus about him packing chocolate to take with him out of the house. Bea is evicted (88% of the vote). Ulrika Jonsson (CBB6) and psychologist Emma Kenny are this weeks panellists. She gets a bit of booing but takes it well, a bit surprised at how she came across (at times being just as melodramatic as she was making Freddie out to be - but bit more on that in the wrap up notes). ‘Killa Kela’ was the musical guest trading a bit of beatboxing with Davina on Big Mouth, also had Jarred Christmas on again and Raef from The Apprentice along with Bea.
  • Siavash starts annoying the others a little by being quick to try and strategise a way to put them all up next week, lest they stop being able to discuss nominations. Charlie tells him they’ll just discuss it anyway and to leave it for the next day. Sophie starts getting a little paranoid about coming across a fool and wanting to be put up, while Rodrigo reflects on the public keeping Marcus in and propping him up with a chat about how he’s been participating in the tasks and stuff. (he has had somewhat of a turnaround in popularity on the outside of late).

  • BBLB: Some more guests this week included Freddie reuniting with Ravi (even Ravi getting his own little BBLB best bits he’d been on quite a few times), Hira doing the ‘work experience’ VT as scare actress at ‘London Dungeon’. The three of them also joined Keith Lemon for a singing game judged by Tinchy Stryder, and Michelle Bass (BB5) played out the Sunday ep with the band on ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’.
  • BB International was BB Poland, which sounds like it used the same theme music as BBAU? The secondBe BB ‘task’ was a similar sorting Maggots task like in BB6’s Room 101. Iain Lee kindof heaped a whole lot on his contestants table, These are very haphazardly judged to determine a winner to the final lol.
  • Kris joined BB3’s Alison Hammond on the couch (set done up to appear like This Morning/Afternoon’, CBB1’s Anthea Turner was on making diary room diorama’s with George, BB4’s Jon Tickle was this weeks guest Web editor with Jo Coffey, talking about Robbie Williams tweeting about the show.
  • Angel has also recorded an album apparently and is making a petition to be in the running for Eurovision 2010 in Norway. Band the Holloways are her support act for an outro performance on BBLB during the week. Nancy Lam was on about Sophie and Rodrigo’s tangent conversations about Brine and Dolphins.

    Onto the next few episodes!

Ok I've pretty much finished BB10 (just doing some clean up) and I started the Launch shows of CBB7 Yesterday. Updates coming soon. ;)

BBUK10 Week 12
  • BB plays music again whilst giving them another little clean the house task. This time it’s ‘Rock ballads’ with Marcus and Lisa jamming out to songs like Guns N Roses ‘November Rain’ and Bon Jovi’s Living On A Prayer.
  • Mini task is an oil wrestling tournament ( later recreated on BBLB with stand-ins for Lucy Pinder and Michelle Marsh, and Big Mouth with Brian Belo and a masked dude). David is automatically through to the semi final, with the others drawn out of a hat. At first Siavash dosent know where to place his hands on Sophie, and Lisa Vs Charlie takes a good 15 minutes. It comes down to Charlie Vs Siavash, with Siavash winning. Charlie later gets paranoid about the connotations of referring to David as looking like a big Whale, but they have a laugh about it.
  • Marcus appears to have had a change of opinion about being nominated now its near the end, telling the others to nominate him if they want but make sure its for a good reason other than him wanting to go home - as now he’s close he might as well stay as his motivation earlier was also partly due to being abe to watch at least the last month at home.
  • Sophie nicks Marcus’ cans of cider from his drawer with help from Charlie and Rodrigo, which Marcus gets shitty about but eventually gets over. Charlie & Rodrigo appear to have more donna action, which they get questioned about the following day and it appears Rodrigo starting to get a bit paranoid about how he is being portrayed in regards to his friendship with Charlie or indeed his bisexuality in general, asking David if they show the housemates sexual orientations on the BB website as plain as their age or hometown.

  • Another mini token task has the housemates coming to the diary room one by one to brush their teeth with different rank food items for a minute. Sophie is the only one not to complete her challenge, so the Housemates miss out on the bonus prize of getting a personal fave song for each of them played into the house. Later Beinazir comes back on for a BBLB appearance and vs Emma Willis in this challenge.
  • Marcus Siavash and Sophie play a countries naming game in the bedroom after Siavash is dumbfounded at Sophie’s lack of geography knowledge off a conversation about Sweden. Siavash also tells Sophie about an idea he had for a shower powered by actual rain clouds (which was used as part of a ‘Dragon’s Den’ (Lizard’s lounge) skit by Lee Kern on BBLB judged by Nadia (BB5, as Webwatch guest editor) and Zoe Salmon). They also later muck around again with the wax strips, taking Siavash’s eyebrow off as well as waxing off one of Sophie’s and doing zig zag pattern up Siavash’s arm.
  • Sure enough as I guessed, producers then gave Sophie a mini task the following day to win herself and the others some of the songs played by correctly pinpointing where a set of countries are on the world map. She only gets Brazil and USA right for Rodrigo and Charlie. BB tells her she put something where ‘Chad’ is ‘The only Chad I know is Chad Michael Murray!’ lol.

  • Nominations twist to try and prevent them from not nominating as Siavash is trying to campaign for again. Two housemates were called to the diary room, Charlie and Sophie volunteer, whilst the rest of the house is shown. BB announces that if they refuse to nominate this week, their points automatically go against Charlie and Sophie. Unbeknownst to Siavash, before he and Sophie Nominate, the tally stands at Marcus and Siavash definitely being up. Nonetheless, he thinks he’s calculated it so that by not nominating, he’ll have more of a chance at being up against either Marcus or David or both, also having discussed with Sophie that he’s happy to go up as she wants to be to experience being up and not taking the free ride to the final kinda thing.
  • This however dosent go down well with Charlie, Rodrigo and David in particular for in their eyes having no respect for the rules of the game and/or really showing Siavash’s hand at trying to be a master manipulator of the public’s emotions by being the only one who refused to nominate to make himself look good. This causes a huge argument where Charlie brings up Siavash cheating on his girlfriend how can he possibly look good after that, whereas Siavash struggles to find the issue with putting himself up essentially if he was playing a game and thinks they’re getting so defensive about it is because its THEM who feel threatened about their chances of winning the show. Meanwhile Marcus is mostly silent throughout this whole exchange.

  • As the shopping task begins the following day, They seem to settle things somewhat again by the next morning. Waking up to the yard being transformed into a space themed land (Task is mini tasks relating to Space/Futuristic).
  • David and Lisa are dressed in Alien suits, and get an extra special part of the task - It involves leaving the house with disposable cameras, boarding the double decker open top bus all the way from Elstree to London, and getting tourists to photograph them at various landmarks without making communication verbally with them or revealing who they are. ‘Nanoo Nanoo’ David says.
  • While they are gone for the afternoon, the remaining 5 are sitting around when BB announces that they should be entertaining for a prize. At first they muck around with the space hopper, which knocks Marcus into the pool. Then, crazy scenes as Siavash leads the way in breaking the side door lock to the camera runs, where all 5 of them run amok for a bit before being rounded up and returned to the house. When Lisa and David return, what a story they both have to tell each other! lol.
  • Later on BB announces that the Prize fund has been reduced to 0 (They were probably always going to pull this but the housemates gave them something to pin it to as a result of the breakout) BUT they will be given mini tasks over the final week to win it back.

  • The group part of the challenge is to have 2 housemates on a spin bike continually cycling to power a light bulb for 7 hours, taking turns/shifts. Rodrigo gets a bit snippy at David suggesting he keep his Diary room chats when called by BB to a brief while this bike task is on. Rodrigo and Sophie complete their rehearsal and performance in suits with words on the arms/legs to Daft Punk’s ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’.
  • Marcus and Siavash as androids make an Effigy of BB out of recycled trash and perform a song they wrote (Marcus on guitar), and Charlie is loaded into a rotating Gyroscope as the Astronaut, which is operated by the Spaceman who assisted Lisa and David in their task, entrance was to the Babylon Zoo song remix. Charlie had to recite all the constellation names he had studied whilst being pelted with paintballs thrown by Lisa and David in their alien suits.
  • They passed the task, and nominations are announced. Siavash is given a personal task to add 10K back on the prize fund by suitcasing the rest of clothes except what he has on, and wearing an outfit given to him (a pink leotard thing that looks like its from he bunnies in the bucks party from last season and heels) until he leaves the house. David finds this hilarious whilst Charlie and Rodrigo don’t think it’s THAT funny. They are at first thinking Siavash wants to walk until he explains it and tries to play it up that he wants to put it towards charity (if he wins) or towards the winner. Marcus thinks this might also be another ploy to look good last minute to stay. Rodrigo adds on about 6000 pounds by guessing between animal noises in the Diary room.

  • The eviction is Marcus with 64% of the vote (I thought it could’ve gone either way, If maybe Siavash had really done himself in this week and the public had enough of his antics, but no). The Panel was Grace Dent and Andi Peters. Sway was the Big Mouth Musical guest, with George Lamb and Rik Edwards on with Marcus. After refusing to cut his whole ponytail off in the house to add back up to 15K to the prize fund, he allows one of the audience to trim a small piece of it.
  • Some more BBLB guests included Vanessa Feltz, Sam and Mark playing a Bea Positive/Negative game with Bea (who got 88% of the vote last week), The last Be BB comp heat was cleaning off cottage cheese/fish oil from ex hms Maxwell, Sara, Carole and Kathreya in a foot spa. Kathreya (BB9) rounded out the Sunday ep with the band doing Beyonce ‘Crazy In Love’.
  • Kris was on about Sophie ‘dumping’ him; Pete (BB7) was on VT during the webwatch segment doing the whistling challenge. Fridays BBLB was missing atm from my lists, and they had an Escape artist Roslyn Walker on as well as others.

    Next: Finale week notes
