I do also think there’s been a rise in free to air tv viewers over the last few years. Only a few years ago mafs had dipped abit and was only pulling 700-800k, mkr was pulling 400k, the voice was pulling 600-700k. Now these are all smashing it, over 800k.

That's down to a change in the way ratings are measured rather than an increase in viewership. Believe figures now also include regional rather than just the 5 metro cities plus more streaming viewing is factored in.

I think it will rate fairly well, but fingers crossed it's a decent selection of housemates. That will determine if it will flop or not.

Look the ratings may just be average for 10 to start with but I can guarantee if the show is worth watching (hopefully they’re going to run a little loose with copyright strikes) it’s people like this that are build up the series. This is exactly the type of grassroots stuff that show needs. TikTok is essentially the modern day water cooler.

They deserve to and personally I don't see MKR and Golden Bachelor to be very strong competition, the demographics that would watch those would not have much overlap with BB I don't think.

It will also be interesting to see what the reach is, anything over 1.2/1.3 million will be huge for Ten compared to everything else that aired.

Golden Bachelor hasn't done so well, but it was the semifinal of MKR tonight and that draws large numbers.
