Yep. When you compare it to Dance Boss which fell under 400k last night Survivor looks like a big hit. It's also doing very well in the demos which is great.

Awesome. On the other hand the Dance Boss finale failed horribly with only 250k watching to see who wins.

Oh my, Dance Boss has to be the flop of 2018 so far - heavily hyped by Channel 7, no doubt was expensive to produce too.
Ten would be happy with Survivor's figures, better than last year

Last year at this point it dropped to under 600k for the next five episodes in a row, so it'll be interesting to see how it fares over the next couple of weeks. But for now it's still tracking well on the overnights.

Wow, the audience lapped that up! That is Australian Survivor's highest overnight figure since 2016, outrating every episode last year including the finale. They'll be pretty happy about that!

I guess Monday's ep met the hype but it was merely a blip which didn't follow through to Tuesday, unfortunately... which is a pity considering Tuesday's TC was every bit as good.

If I look at the averages episodes 1-18 over Ten's three seasons:

2016: 673,056
2017: 605,167
2018: 654,556

They are averaging only 20k fewer viewers than Ten's first season, and almost 50k more than last year, up until this point.

Down... but by less than 30k viewers. I think The Block suffered a much bigger loss to Brownlow. It came in under 1,000,000. Melbourne viewers love The Block... and AFL... so it makes sense.

And its edging closer to The Block in the younger demos which is awesome. It was only 50k behind in the 18-49 demo and 8k behind in the 16-39 demo.
