Are we seriously getting no live updates at all this year?

I just tweeted him. I know it's falling on deaf ears though. He has disappointed time and time again. If I wake in the AM and they're up, I'll wet myself.

And he wants to go out with some ratings glory to say he did it - he got the figures. You can tell he loves the self-publicity. First BBAU producer to ever turn himself into one of the personalities alongside the HMs.

Would "selling your soul" be too harsh a phrase or is that a compliment to TV producers?

I doubt we will get live updates, as we all seemed to guess what was going to happen, even though they tried to hide it last year. (Alex would hate that, as seems to think, he is better than us mere viewers)

We all knew in advance that Nathan was out of the house & that wasn't even the updates. (as someone saw him outside the house)

I think Alex is so precious about BB & thinks he is the star of the show.

It's a shame the viewers are being treated like pieces of shit by him & co.
 
I want to interact here and stuff, but I don't really have any idea about any of the people.... BB, you are limiting my ability to completely pointlessly waste my day off sharing my opinions about the hm's, because I have had about 30 bloody minutes of footage of them, and a lot of that was the doofus Jason. Oh, hey! I have an impression. Don't like Jason.

Still, last year we bitched about 'live feeds' being un-live and such, and missing uplate, or not having true live live feeds, like on BBUS etc, but, here we paddle in a pool as deep as production fav Skye, itching for a bit a bloody footage of the housemates getting to know each other and sorting out their pecking order etc.

It would be fascinating just to watch each of the pairs bond within themselves... man. This is why I watch bloody Big Brother, to see people interact, not to see vt's.

Anyway, hot girls this year.
 
Petition to make this the official Big Brother website. We don't have live streaming but we've got a lot more information than the Jump-In site.
 
I think I'm done.

Not just because of this, but this is the straw that broke the camel's back.

Big Brother was about US, the audience, being akin to the entity "Big Brother", able to look in and see what is going on 24x7.

Now, it is no longer this at all, and by removing the last vestige of live coverage (such as it was), has all but killed the format for me.

I would religiously record NINE's broadcast, and at a later time, scrub through the day's programs for anything BB related that WASN'T getting uploaded by NINE. I really can't be bothered investing myself in that time anymore (sorry to my YT subscribers).

I had high hopes with the pre-season announcements of a more interactive website on jump-in this year, but that has been horribly dashed. I don't know if anybody is truly excited about the new "features" of the jump-in site, maybe there is a whole new viewership that believes it is an advancement, but I certainly don't.

I'm really in a quandary as to what to do. I haven't looked at nearly two days of footage - easily deleted at the push of a button - but I'm torn.

If this situation stays the way it is for the whole season (which I'm not interested in watching now), AND the ratings actually are on par with the last season, then even IF TEN picks it up I'm fearful that they'll take the format the way NINE have presented it this year and run it that way.

the updates made me want to watch the daily show to know w.t.f. happens . no updates? hour of edited footage. nah. back to other TV. was a fan since the first ep in season 1. jade-ed just about killed me last year cause i'm not a teenager. this coverage? ah no. I actually have some grass growing and some drying paint that's more interesting

They made me excited for the evening viewing... I was excited to read all the happenings during the day. It was a build up to the actual show. Freaking ridiculous

I think they would, I think they ditched it too fast cos it went downhill after the turkey slapping incident, and that's why they don't have true live feeds of course & who cam blame them. I think Channel 9, give it up and let another station bring it back — even with Sonia as the host (though Gretel would be better), or just let the producer who did it before and Alex take a step back as he did a much better job.
 
Wait...so none of those cute posts that went up from time to time during the day last year?
 
So each year we get less and less feed from the house... next they cut out the TV shows as well.
Wait, that means its cancelled or BBAU is just a private resort spa. I wonder what that does for ratings?
