2016 Today I...

Not to me it's not! Teed-i-ous!! I 'should' like it. It's word-y. And I like those. But I just don't like it. I like cryptic crosswords though. So go figure!
I play words with friends on fb which I know you don't do. Unfortunately it's very American in the words used and some very valid words in Australian and English usage aren't valid. Anyway, I enjoy that and straight crosswords, but cryptics do my head in most of the time. Mum does the Age ones every day. I can occasionally get a clue but it almost has to jump off the page at me. The Herald Sun ones are much easier for me. As for Sudoku or whatever it is, yikes!! Numbers are horrid, lol.

Yeah.... I found them a bit threatening until one of the girls at my then work got me totally hooked. She explained a bunch of the code clues and they became fun... How to spot an anagram, a word hidden in the clue, something spelled backwards, etc. then it became really fun working out everything plus kind of educational even! And once you know some of the clues are very funny and very clever. Having said that I haven't actually done one in weeks for some reason. Must go check the Age online after this post. How is Victoria gardens doing? Still gotta book my flight. Hopefully tomorrow....

Sometimes the answers are just there and at other times I cannot get them. With the combined Herald Sun, I do the straight answer then try to see how it fits the cryptic clue. Mum has tried to explain the codes to me, but quite obviously I am not too good with stuff like that.
I haven't been to VG for a while, as in a few days. I must go there today though for provisions for nights this week. Being only a ten minute walk from home it's great. A better walk is to the excellent new Coles on Swan St, where Dimmey's was.

Oh yes. Dimmeys will be gone. I think Swan Street will probably be a bit different to when I left.

The good thing about the Age online is that you can reveal the clues and therefore train yourself in the different types of clues. Just opened the app. 25D for today's: Sent to sleep when suitably robed. (5). Bored.

And while I'm not exactly bored I probably should try to send myself to sleep anyway. It's 3:00 am here. So... Goodnight!!

Oh NO![DOUBLEPOST=1468035721][/DOUBLEPOST]Why on earth Phnom Penh? By the way...
It's all good, torrent has shown up.

And Phnom Penh - or at least Cambodia - because it's tropical and cheap. I'll stay in PP and explore other places until my lease expires in December and decide if I want to stay in PP, move elsewhere in Cambodia, or move somewhere else like Saigon or Bangkok etc.

In the meantime I quite like paying just US$260/month for rent.

Tonight I have a party to attend that is very family and likely to be fun, 21st, lots of extended people I don't know well, nice interesting people.
But, i feel like a weird zombie, with just enough energy to get there.

I LOVE Sudoko - it is only 1 to 9 and nothing to be scared of it is all about placement

I hope you went and had fun :)

I still don't know what this is!! I feel like I've already missed the boat. My little brother and my niece were both talking about it but it's not strictly for a younger demographic is it?
Seems to be the rage. No idea what it is either.

Might as well :) If you like the climate! Be happy, that is what matters
