"Today I ..." amused myself (and lscp) by truly appreciating a very gifted song-writer/muso mate of ours by putting one of his more recent compositions (wot we're all hoping to make a Really Good film clip for) to some family friendly visual stuff that don't really do the tune justice.
In case you are wondering, the awesome song writer (let's call him "Will" for the sake of this posting ...) is the voice and composer to the music of a number of youtubes already posted here, such as the "Haus Spatzen", "The Smile ", and "Marina Shores Penthouse, Airlie Beach" to name a few.
Anyhoo, ButOfCourse I now have to share my naughtiness here for potentially your amusement too.
So, here's the story thus far ...

Hi Will
LSCP and I were chatting about film-clip ideas for your awesome "disco love" song the other day and we had the awesome thought that nothing could be more awesome than to tie-fighter in your awesome tune with one of the most awesome stories ever to be told on film.
So, less chat, more filmclip.
Are we on the right track with the following do you think ?
In unrelated news, is anyone interested in a slightly used collection of Star-Wars action figures ? They've only danced once.

PS: Fear not Will, the youtube is unlisted ...I.E. only available via link, and no way would Nigel or Dean ever forward it to anyone else.

Part 2, later on the same day ...
Okay, let it never be said that I’m not open to honest, positive, constructive feedback, especially when it comes from anonymous sources.
So, yes “#Real not Plastic”, I tend to agree that it is neither environmentally nor human friendly to use plastic dolls in film clips. I also agree that using stop-motion is hardly going to give the fluidity of movement that only a real and gifted human body can bring.
I also agree with the comment from “#Needs more Storm-troopers” ... that being that the clip, uh, “needs more storm-troopers” (are you sure you didn’t mean to say “cow-bell” ?)
“#Where’s Willy” also pointed out that Will’s voice didn’t actually appear let alone feature in the dolly clip. Doh !
Also, our choreographer says she simply can’t work with dolls any more now that she is all grown up and married to a grown-up like me.
Soooooo, what to do ?
Well, fortunately for Will (and the rest of us), he who lives in the online fantasy gaming world (and who is great at delivering wedding speeches, that being "numba1son") was able to put us in contact with a bunch of seriously disturbed computer-nerdy-geek types who just luuuurv to do star-wars dress ups. Our fun loving choreographer (who loves to join in with the rest of us in having some fun with Will’s truly awesome compositions) was quickly able to ... well, see for yourselves !
W00T, the project is saved !

Sigh, nothing back but stunned silence so far.
I guess it needed more cowbell.
