I have no doubt that both you and I are somewhat to considerably acquainted with the damage addiction can do and we've both lost people close to us and/or family and/or seen relationships ruined and homes wrecked because of it.
I've also got no doubt we're on the same page on a lot of stuff and are perhaps even similarly horrified at the irresponsible and typically accountability shunning hubris that seems to go hand in hand with those who have embraced totalitarian / freedom hating left-ardian philosophy.

It seems to me that those types seem to want the whole world to be forced to toe a line they happen to agree with but rarely want any kind of accountability for themselves. What is more, their idea of charity typically involves the forced taking and using of Other People's Money.
In short, stealing from others in order to finance their own attempts to attain feel-goodery and/or "being-needed".

Yet I bet that same person wouldn't want suitable authorities investigating and supervising their so called "half way house for the doomed at 12 years old".
Which brings us to the other "H" word that totalitarian minded freedom hating left-ards are so worthy of.

Anyhoo, as apparently a kid who used to frequent a so called half-way house for "doomed at 12yo kids" has died, then one would hope that suitable authorities are now looking into just how that half-way house is being run and what needs to be put in place to hopefully prevent any further deaths, yes ?
Do you think our resident "waa, we need a world wide police force" barely closeted totalitarian will be requesting some official sort of help and advice (etc) in that regard though ?
... or do you think it they will do the usual left-ardian thing and try and pass on blame while considering themselves and their way to be beyond reproach let alone any kind of accountability ?
Like, could you imagine the hue and cry that kind of person would "waa" if it were the other way around and it was LSCP and me who were running a "halfway house" or "drop in centre" or "help line", etc, etc, etc, for other people's kids ?
