Big Brother's latest evictee Sam Bramham has shared what it's like to be part of a reality TV family, with his sister Kara Bramham's recent appearance on The Bachelor.
The gold medal-winning paralympic swimmer tells TheFIX his first night of freedom was spent sharing a "bottle of red with mum, catching up on what's been going on", including his sister's time with Bachelor Blake.
"We seem like a family business now, it's getting crazy," Sam mused. "I didn't actually know that my sister was on The Bachelor 'til probably about a month before going into the house just because it was so secret, then I started watching it on TV. It was just… wow! For mum and dad it probably would have been a hairy experience, but a good experience."
Reuniting on the phone last night, the siblings caught about life as fellow reality TV cast-offs. Kara's advice for Sam? "Don't kiss big, well-built guys and no going on dates!" Hmm… something tells us she might have been talking about a different "Sam".
In other tales of love, the 26-year-old athlete left the Big Brother house last night amid a cloud of speculation surrounding his relationship with fellow housemate Sandra Nixon.
And while his real-life girlfriend Michaela wasn't at the eviction, Sam got the chance to catch up on the phone with her and explain himself.
"There was a little bit of fall out, with the back tickles and things like that," he admitted, referring to his physical closeness with Sandra. "But she trusts me and I trust her and she saw the relationship as it was, that it was just a really good friendship with Sandra." Sam had some stern words for another housemate who he thinks has taken the "showmance" factor way too far: Lawson.
Despite the fact that Lawson is in a committed relationship in the outside world, he and housemate Cat had a steamy rendezvous in the private Big Brother "sanctuary", the details of which were kept hidden from their fellow housemates.
"Knowing now what actually happened in that sanctuary… You bloody idiot!" Sam says. "He's going to have to pay the piper, he slept in the bed he has to make it. Whatever happens between him and his girlfriend is their thing. I could imagine she'd be quite upset, but time will tell."

This was spectacular. I feel like there's a lot of producer-shaming on these forums (which is fair) but it's interesting to get an insight into just how hard the exec producers work and care about the show.

From The Courier Mail today:
BIG Brother has chosen to go PG this year, leaving viewers hungry for goss on the X-rated antics of the housemates. Other than a few dirty pashes in the spa, we have been left in the dark on what happens when the lights go out. Our BB insiders shared way too much information on what the contestants get up to when they think no one is watching. We have been told the housemates have become experts at using sheets to set up secret cubby houses between the beds to get some privacy from the cameras. There have been many secret hook ups under the makeshift hide outs that have not gone to air. Our snoop said, “Add a few drinks into the mix with this lot and you get way more than you bargained for”. Tim Dormer also opened up about how outrageous the housemates this year were after he spent just one night in the compound.

I don't think this has been posted yet. Woman's day article claiming that Jake and Lisa are now dating.

What in the hell kind of scam are they pulling?! They advertise a story, tell me I have to pay to see it and if I did pay there wouldn't be an article to view? That's messed up.Just had another look and....no dice......makes me think perhaps the "insiders" don't exist!![]()
It is not a user friendly site at the best of times....but that section where they mash all the stories really is poorly managed. What in the hell kind of scam are they pulling?!
