Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it. I bet we just get one token oldie again...

Yes, doomed to be peripheral to the show because all the 18-25s have no real interest in people over 30, and tend to see them as being "parental" which is the kiss of death on this show.

Tim Dormer’s new reality as fresh crop of Big Brother hopefuls audition

....“I am currently working with Today and I am also in talks with a production company about my own sort of show,” Dormer told Confidential.
They contacted me off the back of Big Brother, the guys who did all of Chris Lilley’s stuff.
“It will involve Ben Zabel from my year of Big Brother as well.”....

They really just need to get a bunch of middle aged people who are having trashy mid life crisises.

Though, the 18-25y/os probably don't have a real interest in anyone unless there is drama, boobs, ass, scandals...

Hell, I have no real interest in watching it if there is none of the above haha.. God I really wish there was live streaming again this year. C'mon ch9, do things the right way :(

Bizarre article

FORMER under 16s Mackay Cutters coach Peter Palmer could soon be under the watchful eye of Big Brother in the next season of the hit Channel Nine reality television show.

Mr Palmer, who now lives in Sydney, has made it through to the final stages of the audition process, reaching the final 50.

But Big Brother producers advised Mr Palmer he could not carry out any media interviews, stating it could be deemed as gaining a voting advantage over the other housemates.

A total of 14 housemates will go into the Big Brother house, which is located at the Gold Coast's Dreamworld theme park.

If Mr Palmer is successful in making the final 14, it will not be the first time he has had a stint on reality television.

He was a former contestant on Australian Idol in 2005.

Mackay is a region full of reality stars,

It has produced contestants on The Biggest Loser, X-Factor and The Mole.

Father-daughter team Sam and Jess O'Malley battled it out on the 2013 series of The Biggest Loser and lost more than 35kg each on the show.

They have now dedicated their lives to fitness and own R.E.D Health and Fitness at Rural View.

Mackay North State High School student Aaliyah Warren made it through to the Sydney round of Channel Seven's X-Factor before being eliminated.

Kerry Odger made an appearance in the series return of Channel Seven's The Mole last year.

However, the show was labelled a flop.

It was later moved to a 10.30pm timeslot.

Wonder if this jeopardizes his chance.

How can he have made the final 50 if auditions haven't even finished yet!

I'd say it's just a journalistic error. Once auditions are finished they select the top 150, they aren't even close to the top 50 yet. So many journalists seemed to skip the whole research and fact checking part of their studies, but I guess this is only a little slip up.

That must be why Tiki Torch from Facebook got through to the 'top 150' she was just talking about Albury!

LMFAO! Her full name is actually "Tiki Torch That Dumb Bitch From Albury"... I'm sure she'd be offended if she knew you'd forgotten the rest...
