Big Brother 2013 winner Tim Dormer has taken a swipe at former housemate Tully Smyth, calling her a "trainwreck" and criticising her for using her celebrity status to blag freebies on Instagram.

TheFIX spoke to Tim at Nine's post-Logies brunch about what he calls his "love-hate relationship with Tully".
"We come from the same suburb in Sydney and she represents everything that I don't like about Sydney and that socialite scene," Tim told us. "She's seen at every red carpet there is, except for the Logies... did you get that Tully?"
Tim, 30, isn't a fan of the way Tully has turned her Instagram account into "a commodity", spruiking fashion and being paid for posts to her 192,000 followers....

ROYAL hoax DJ Mel Greig has been offered a job by KiisFM to work alongside a new co-host — Big Brother winner Tim Dormer — radio industry insiders say.

The soon-to-be on air duo had a meeting together in Sydney yesterday, appearing to cement the reports.
Greig, who gave an emotional interview to Seven’s Sunday Night earlier this month, flew into Sydney from her home city of Adelaide yesterday. Apart from her “get to know you” session with Dormer, she was due to meet ARN executives to sign a deal to return to air.

Turkey slap trio hide from reality TV infamy
- June 24, 2014 -

They were responsible for thrusting the phrase "turkey slap" into the consciousness of every Australian – but eight years after their infamous television antics, no one involved in the Big Brother controversy wants to talk about it.

Michael "Ashley" Cox and Michael "John" Bric were booted from the show after they held down fellow housemate Camilla Severi and one of the men slapped her in the face with his penis.

9 Stories reached out to the trio to ask how they had managed in the years following their taboo prank.
But none of the three agreed to speak on the record.

Can you help us close the loop on the turkey slap trio? You can reach us by emailing 9 Stories.

Cox, who courted some media attention in the year following his stint on reality TV, has gone underground and his whereabouts remain a mystery.

Severi is believed to have recently settled in Bali with her husband following a career in commercial radio.

Bric remains the only accessible face of the scandal. Now 29, he works as a freelance newsreader for Nova in Melbourne, after completing his media communication degree at Swinburne University.

However, the turkey slapping incident remains off-limits – even to his closest colleagues and friends.

When contacted by 9 Stories, he declined to comment.

"Sorry, I'm not really interested," he said.

"He does not indulge the subject at all," one co-worker told 9 Stories.

"I think it does follow him wherever he goes in media, but he's not going to talk," said another.

Bric and Cox received death threats and were called rapists on the street in the months following the scandal that saw the pair dishonourably booted from the 2006 reality TV series.

The incident was streamed live on the show's website but the full video was never broadcast by Network Ten.
Police investigated but no charges were laid.

"The slap" made headlines across the country. Then-Prime Minister John Howard called for the show to be taken off the air.

In one of their rare interviews on the subject, Bric and Cox complained that Big Brother producers had deliberately heightened the controversy for ratings with little regard for their lives.

"It ruined my life," Cox told Zoo Weekly magazine at the time.

"I was branded a rapist on national TV. The hardest part was having no support from anyone."

...um, so my question is WHY is this on the front page of ninemsn today?!

What is their purpose?

Are they testing the waters for some sort of response to see if they can bring back some level of "mature content" for the upcoming season? O_O I am so confused.

Considering they've always been so keen to forget about this incident, it just seems like the most random and pointless thing to be posting a full-on news article about - especially when there's no actual resolution in the article either.

What's your game, Nine?

It's apparently a new section of ninmsn called 9stories. Seems the premise is "what-ever happened to the people in such-n-such a news story"

Too often we let these stories languish and never follow up. We move on to the next new story in the cycle.

That’s not good enough.

That’s why we’ve created the 9 Stories unit – to close the loop. To revisit stories lost in the never-ending flow of digital news.

Slow news day??? :conf:

It is truly bizarre that Nine would even mention this incident when they promote Big Brother as a family friendly show. Surely this would go in the opposite direction of what they want?

Chrissie swan is gunna be on ACA tonight, Reggie was on a few weeks ago, nine are looking for the turkey slappers, are they just trying to put BB in peoples minds orrrr?

Found this in ok magazine.
Wonder if this means we get a say in who actually goes into the house? I know it sounds ridiculous...
I'm also thinking the people's puppet maybe..
