Aww now I really like her.

You should totally pin the tweet and show the other's how it should be done.

Tully's been outed and mocked as part of a hilarious Tinder photos recreation!

I swear I've seen this a while ago but I never mad the connection the Tully photo. Unless it's a new one.

Tim Dormer says 2014 Big Brother housemates ‘most competitive and outspoken ever’

COMPETITIVE, outspoken, outrageous and willing to do anything to win — that’s what you should expect from this year’s crop of Big Brother housemates.
That’s the inside word from last year’s winner, Tim Dormer, who has the skinny on the men and women who’ll enter the Dream World compound on Monday.

Dormer, who has just spent the week on a crocodile hunting safari with the Irwin family, is heading to the Gold Coast to prepare for the launch of the new season of Channel Nine’s hit reality show.
He has the inside word on the types of people chosen to be locked in the house for the next three months.
“I’ve heard they’ve picked the most competitive, outrageous and outspoken people this year,” Dormer said.
“They’re housemates who are in it to win it, who will win at any cost. I think that will make very interesting viewing.”

After winning the competition last year, and walking away with $250,000 for his troubles, Dormer said makers of the show told him he’d broken the mould.

I'm guessing the fact they have an actual laundry must mean there will be tasks involved in one half of the HM's being required to clean another halves clothes, etc, as part of the power.

Otherwise seems odd that out of 11 seasons they're now giving them such luxury.

The machines also appear to be coin or token operated, Sonia K mentioned 'money is going to be very significant in the house this season'.

.......She revealed to Daily Mail Australia that a magician will be entering the house for the first time in the show's history.
'We've never had a magician in the house before,' she said on Wednesday, 'I wonder what's going to happen if he decides to make himself disappear half way through the series and reappear just at grand final time or whether he'll be sawing any housemates in half!'

The popular TV star also hinted that: 'money is going to be very significant in the house this season.'
'In the past the only kind of monetary element has been the prize money in the end,' she said.
'I don't think that that's the case this time around, if we know that power corrupts we also know that money corrupts so there could be a lot of temptation placed in the way of the housemates.'

^ Interesting

Alex is seriously doing nearly everything that has ever been mentioned on these forums. Last year we discussed wanting actual stairs in the BB house, and this year we got it. Last year there was also a topic about bringing back a monetary system similar to BB01 and BB02, and it appears we may have just gotten that as well.

But I do hate when they say things like "in the past the only monetary element has been the prize money", etc, because that's not entirely true. They don't really seem to like looking beyond the past 2 seasons though, do they?

Alex hasn't won that "BB purist" title he loves just yet.

Big Brother 2014: Be interesting or be ignored

ninemsn journalist Kieran Campbell in the Big Brother house.

The housemates of Big Brother 2014 have been given a warning: be interesting or be ignored.

Days out from the launch of the new season of the reality show juggernaut, ninemsn has been told there will be no free ride for the contestants of the show with a $250,000 prize.

"If you're not 'in the show' you will not be in the show. We make no apology for the fact that if you sleep all day we're not going to put you in the show just because we have to," executive producer Alex Mavroidakis told ninemsn.

"There is a large cash prize up for grabs and the people that give us the best entertainment, do the most things, will be in the show more, they will make the edit more.

"In old-world Big Brother, when the show very first started, the remit was to give a fair spread of all the housemates, which was very challenging sometimes.

"We’re saying it to the housemates: if you’re not in the middle of everything, you will be forgotten."

After an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Big Brother house, ninemsn can reveal:
  • There will be secret rooms both conspicuous and hidden that will play important roles in the competition
  • The housemates face being split between two bedrooms
  • There is a hot tub again this year
  • The kitchen has undergone a tropical makeover
  • A magnificent flamingo-printed wall lines the stairway to the diary room
  • There will be a 50:50 split of male and female contestants
  • The Noah’s Ark promos for the show hint at a major twist that will define the housemates’ journey.
Mavroidakis is confident housemates have been cast that will make for a successful season of the show.

"It's ethnically diverse, it's absolutely personality diverse and we have given ourselves the absolute best chance of human drama,” Mavroidakis says.

"Every housemate in that house has something to say."

Power corrupts... but so does money': Big Brother host Sonia Kruger reveals housemates will be fighting for cash prizes in new season twist

The countdown to Big Brother 2014 has well and truly begun.

And with only a number of days to go before Monday night's season premiere, host Sonia Kruger has dropped a bombshell.

The popular 49-year-old presenter revealed to Daily Mail Australia there will be a wicked twist to this year's series and that for the first time in Big Brother history, incentives in the form of cold hard cash will be introduced to the house.

'Money is going to be very significant in the house this season,' Kruger hinted.

'In the past, the only kind of monetary element has been the prize money in the end but I don't think that's the case this time around.'

Explaining that the addition has the potential to change the dynamic between the housemates, she added: 'If we know that power corrupts we also know that money corrupts so there could be a lot of temptation placed in the way of the housemates.'

Similar to the way contestants can obtain small strategic advantages that upset the balance of power, the housemates will be challenged to win prize money throughout the 12 weeks they are in the house.

The difference being that while power plays are only temporary, any money won will undoubtedly be of use on the outside.

Earlier this week, the program's executive producer Alex Mavroidakis also revealed a sportsman who has 'flirted with greatness in Aussie rules' will be among the contestants entering the house.

Remaining coy however, he told Daily Mail Australia: 'Being an "Aussie Rules" footballer does not mean you have played in the AFL - in exactly the same way as being a "soccer player" doesn't mean you have played in the World Cup.'

'We also have an ex-professional tennis player – and no, he hasn't won Wimbledon.'

I wonder if that's the guy that Tim knows? He said it would be easy to find out info about, once we saw him.

or maybe Matt's friend?

*OT. Quick question, please (I have been away recently) so not sure if this was discussed |mentioned?

"....In 2014, Big Brother will also have a fully digital and integrated platform, which allows viewers more engagement and interaction than ever before. Big Brother said: “Australia, this year it is power to the people. Your first chance to control what happens in my House starts before night one. You decide more than just who stays and who goes.”

I totally forgot about this. Yeah it has been mentioned on here before, but not how and when we will be able to control what happens. I'm guessing that over the weekend there will be a poll or something where the viewers vote.
