how silly of me to forget successful femme fatales Vecepia Towery, Sandra Diaz-Twine, Sophie Clarke, Denise Stapley, and Natalie Anderson among others.
It just seems like kind of a silly sentiment to me. I don't think that girls flirting makes a season bad, but that's neither here nor there. This season doesn't have any girls trying to flirt their way to the end, but Worlds Apart didn't either. And San Juan del Sur didn't. And Cagayan didn't. And Blood vs. Water didn't. I just don't see how that statement applies specifically to this season. It'd be like saying "one thing I like about this season is that there was a tribe swap."
I'm not a fan of the hair either, but it was a bit classless to make the comment.Pfft. She's right, he has ridiculous hair. Sideshow Bob!
One easy memory I have, though I can't recall names of seasons - Jon's blonde girlfriend tried to flirt with one of the twins, Drew or whichever it was, after Jon was blindsided. It was overtly sexual flirting, designed to manipulate and she said as much. It was very uncomfortable to watch.
I would go mad if I dragged my brain back through every season I watched to bring up pair couples who slept together to keep each other warm, or women or men who used flirtation to sway allegiances, or just the endless shots of eg Julie Berrie's bare bum cheeks as she lay sunbaking, etc etc.
One of the joys of this season for me is it isn't designed largely for 'eye candy', with swathes of young women who look good in bikinis and hordes of virile young men, and one or two token oldies. It is a season of players, of varying ages and shapes, and most of the cast has no desire to hook up, or find someone to snuggle next to, as they have better strategies up their sleeves and partners they care about back home.
Regardless, flirting is a legitimate strategy and it can be successful if used correctly, just like other people have said already. If you really have a problem with girls trying to flirt their way to the end or with the endless shots of Julie's ass cheeks, it kinda sounds like a broader problem you have with women tbh.
Yep. Here understand what I'm reading, and same reason I like this season so much. Don't really want Wentworth to win, but would respect it if it happened.Oh, flirting is now a legitimate strategy? Really. On page 10 it did not exist in the game. Then it somehow involved "omg her tits hypnotized all the dudes!"
I don't have a problem with women.
