The NZ Bachelor I think is my favourite from any series.
The people on the other forum adore that one too. Where can I watch this?

did you want Celebrity Apprentice?
I didn't say that, don't put words in my mouth please. So basically you're allowed to critique girls for simply going onto the show but apparently the actual bachelor himself is immune to criticism?
No more bachelor! Onwards to survivor?

lol I suspect you read all of the thread because there were certainly a number of girls and their actions critiqued.I didn't say that, don't put words in my mouth please.
I don't really care whether you or any other poster criticizes the bachie tbh. All I'm doing is pointing out the way 1 traffic in terms of 'critiquing' and that I find the double standard funny.
Everything the bachie does is dissected and he's instantly blasted for being this and that. Whereas the female themselves who are unashamedly throwing themselves at him can apparently do no wrong.
I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle. The bachie isn't a 100% villainous insensitive douche and the girls aren't perfect wholesome little damsels either.![]()

The Bachelorette really doesn't excite me, however I only watched this series rough a quarter of the way through so who knows. Although it's more realistic to have guys fighting for one girl, the concept and everything seems so inorganic to me and I can't get excited over a bunch of guys competing. But I guess it comes down to the casting, there might be some entertaining characters.
My cousin apparently has a massive girl-crush on Snez but it's funny because she and Snez could honestly pass for sisters.
I liked him early on. I thought it was great how he seemed to be honest and upfront when sending Jacinda home, even with Emily.
Even when he sent Heather home, even though he denied EVER feeling anything other than friendship even though he said things that led her on, I thought well he has the right to choose who he wants.
But, I agree with @reepbot that article he put out where he basically said he always knew he'd never feel more than friendship and that he selfishly kept her around because she was 'fun' even though she begged him not to take her on home visits if he wasn't sure - well that made me angry at him.
Add him to last night where he was giving Sarah NOTHING on their date and yet chose to make her feel bad about herself for not opening up more whilst he talks about his feelings for the others just had me screaming DICKHEAD at the tv.
So yeah I think during the course of it he's got a massive big head and thinks they should all be grovelling at his feet and I don't particularly like this version of Sam.
I've viewed it as him staying fairly true to who he liked the most in RCs and it's just the shyte format of the show having him say platitudes, fillers and reasons why he hasn't connected as much with some. I'm not sure if keeping it simple & maybe real would work tho... like "I'm just not into you as much as the others".
With HTD, maybe Heather should have gone instead of Nina with how it turned out after Heather's expressed heartbreak, and SM reaction, but that wouldn't have been true to who he liked the most imo. Heather went on the show knowing about HTD. I understand what you're saying about that article tho, but I also haven't taken it too literally and seen it as maybe his poor reaction and defence at being hated for Heather's heartbreak.
Sarah did seem to have a barrier up and looked nervous in front of cameras compared to the others. She's said post show that she didn't fall for him so maybe that's why she didn't go all goey. I think she's classy, beautiful and smart and I'm glad she put up a small barrier. She gave it all with her family with HTD (same as Snez) too, so I hope she feels good about it all and moves on ok.

But now Bachie is a douche, none of the 4 girls left can be blamed for him not choosing them.
What kind of logic is that?!none of the 4 girls left can be blamed for him not choosing them.

Has polygamy suddenly became legal in Australia and I wasn't aware of it?
You better come to terms with it because he has to. I think it's unreasonable that he'll be crucified for something that can't be helped. It's not like he's in control of how the producers choose the show to be structured.
I suspect that he may have fallen for 1 girl a while back but the show demands he keeps up the charade of being interested in the others so the producers have enough material for the remainder of the episodes. In other words he's just fulfilling the contract he signed up to along with the girls.
