Last movie you saw

Well I suppose my bias for terminator is most likely showing and therefore through my eyes it can do no wrong.

I am going to possibly offend, but have not seen mad max fury road. But I am curious now and quite interested to see it with your raving of the movie, though I am afraid I may not experience it as well since it may not be on the big screen anymore. I hardly watch movies on the big screen because, well, kids.

If you're not opposed to pirating things off the net then you can see it by downloading a torrent or usenet copy of the film. The other alternative is watching a copy someone's uploaded on youtube and somehow hasn't been taking down in over 2 weeks.

The owner of that channel has cut up the film in 40 different clips which automatically loads to the next one in order. Enjoy. :)

I j

I just borrow the data projector and speakers from work, run it through the laptop and project the lot on my wall.... :)

Yeah, that sounds like it'd do the film more justice than watching it in a 40 - 60 inch screen.

Well I'll now be watching this in the next 15 minutes. The hubby has streamed it (or whatever the terminology it is for downloading and it appearing on my tv screen). Just waiting outside the boys bedroom to be sure they don't get up for the 10th time.

I was supposed to be watching insurgent so this movie better not disappoint, because you will hear about it ;)

I'd be flabbergasted if anyone thinks Insurgent is a better movie than MMFR. I've watched both Divergent and Insurgent and no offense but they're pretty forgettable disposable movies. :pompus:

Oh this is the actual page link to the clips that automatically play in order in case you haven't found it:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLk0Hd0vmvFM8qZPgV03TQqVLyXFKQV1va

Click on the first clip (Opening Scene) and it should load the subsequent scenes in order from then on.

Also saw 'The Birds'. Very scary movie, could happen at any moment. I mean we never know what those birds have planned for us, watching us with their eyes of doom. I bet they are right now in their war room planning a series of attacks against us humans.

Mad max was seriously good!

I wasn't sure what to expect because I never watched the older max movies, but this was entertaining on so many levels.

From the get go it's all action, and it kept the hype up to the end. There wasn't much dialogue though, but I can't expect that from an action film. Hands down, Charlize Theron was by far my favourite one in the film.

We streamed it from a movie site we often use to download other movies and it was in HD. I do wish we watched this on the big screen.

Pheew, that's a relief that you enjoyed it. My reputation when it comes to movie recommendations remains intact.

I can relate to that. I'll admit that when I first went to see it I didn’t know what to expect either, it was mainly the claim that it was feminist propaganda that piqued my interest. Well I did have some preconceived ideas of what it would be like but none of them were any good. lol It was probably only until 30 minutes (after the sandstorm scene had finished) that I realise this wasn't your average blockbuster flick.

No pressure or anything but here in Melbourne Mad Max is still playing in some art house cinemas, it might be the same in Sydney I dunno.

Just watched a bit of a preview for The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
Not released here until next month I think. Definitely on my 'to see' list.
Which brought me to think - does Hugh Grant have the most easily recognisable voice in film? He always sound the same, even in this film.
