"Big Brother" UK: Timebomb

so are only 2 people up for eviction this week in total?

...yes crimmy... Jack was up for eviction too but he used his last immunity card to save himself thereby leaving just Joel and Eileen left to choose from... cheers.

So then he wasted all three Immunity Passes.

1. Saving Cristian from Eviction #1 was stupid.
2. He saved himself last when when he thought there was only a 1/7 chance of leaving - and all of the top three from the winner poll just a few weeks earlier were all in that group.
3. Saving himself when up against Eileen and Joel - and unknowingly falling into Sam and Simon's trap of flushing that last pass out. He obviously has much support (otherwise he wouldn't have been the "winner"), and they haven't had to pay anything to save him yet - so why would he think he's in any danger of actually going?

...Marc talking to Sam.... "here's a quick question... do you take it in the arse?"... what a dirty filthy pig of a man... get him out of that house Big Brother otherwise you are condoning his actions... how low does the show have sink for ratings?... cheers.

...saving Cristian was a ridiculous waste of an immunity... the boy should've hung on to them for grim life... he will come to regret that decision for sure... cheers.

i thought he was only up against Eileen and then when he took himself out of it Joel then went up

as I'm at work I cant watch any of the videos so I just read updates / twitter feed ... I just thought there might be more going up ... just 2 is pretty rough

I'm glad Jack has now used them all up - that means everyone is on an even playing field once this week is up and everyone can be nominated again

after last years debacle with Helen having free pass to final I don't agree with free immunity or passes of more than one week duration

...Marc basically told Eileen that it wasn't him that voted for her yet Big Brother doesn't even seem fazed about it at all... Jack wasn't allowed to say anything when he knew who was going to be evicted on punishment of eviction if he did... ha!... double standards or what?... this really is a sad situation... it really is...

...I had made my mind up to stop watching this show after 2 or 3 days if it doesn't improve a few days back but now I'm hooked... it's like watching a really shit movie... knowing that it is a shit movie yet thinking that it may improve and watching it until the very end just to say to yourself... "I knew that it was going to be a shit movie all the way through it I just KNEW it!"... just to confirm that you were right in the first place...

...this is the very same situation that I'm finding myself in now... I've given up having hope that there will be a fair winner at the end of this... I know that my favourite housemates will be picked off one by one by Big Brother so I'm now having no bond with any of them at the moment... I don't care who goes anymore... I'm now watching purely to see just how bad this show sinks just to say at the end of it... "I KNEW that it would be shit all the way to the end!"...

...as a viewer that is a very sad place to be in my humble opinion... cheers.

They had a good set of housemates and the fucked it up.They could have just brought a couple of intrudors in instead.Hubby is watching now too BTW....he has Jack picked to win

...Marc talking to Sam.... "here's a quick question... do you take it in the arse?"... what a dirty filthy pig of a man... get him out of that house Big Brother otherwise you are condoning his actions... how low does the show have sink for ratings?... cheers.
Totally agree... though am somewhat surprised at Sam's meek rejection. Did she fancy the idea?

...Eileen was saying how much she loved having Simple Simon in the house while he was saying such nasty stuff about her in the Diary Room such as...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Big Brother:... Simon could you now reveal your first joint nomination?...

(Simple Simon):... our first joint nomination is... Eileen... we've both decided to nominate Eileen because we feel that Eileen is halfway through her life and she may have more security and more things back at home than the likes of someone like Cristian... um... and we both feel that she's had this opportunity... and it's now time to... you know... let other people have the opportunity to stay in the process longer... um... that are beginning I guess... are beginning their adult lives...

...you know... she's 52 years old!... she has lived... why has she not contributed from day one in this process as a grown adult... as a grown woman?... we both don't think that Eileen has pulled together um... as... as kind of the mother figure that I would've expected her to do!...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

...what a turd!... he has the hide to have a go at her age of 52 when he is only a few years behind her!... the dickweed is 46!!!!... just 6 years difference!!!!... what the fuck??????... it just goes to show what a dirty snake he is... all the way through that he said 'we'... but right at the end he said... "as kind of the mother figure that 'I' would've expected her to do!"... I so hope that Eileen gets to stay... they say that the quiet ones are the most dangerous... I want to see this fuckwit squirm... what a turd!...

...Sam is just as bad because all she did was to agree with everything that he suggested because she didn't want to be seen in a bad light... especially as she was telling Eileen from day one of how good a friend she is... and Sam was oh so flippant about crucifying Eileen when her and Simon were discussing it... she's not a very nice person at all in my books...

...I really can't understand as to just why Eileen has to be the 'mother figure' in the house?... she went in as an equal housemate alongside the rest of them... none of the original housemates have ever gone to her to act as their 'mummy' to care for them... they treated her as an equal at all times from what I've seen... and so she should be!... with Simple Simon (Mr Showfizz) putting her up he has ensured her staying in the house so much longer in my opinion... the public will now keep her in just to see that dipshit get his come-uppence from the rest of the housemates for what he did... what an arsehole!... cheers.

...in 'A Bit on the Side' the youngest housemate Jack was seen to be giving Simple Simon a massive mouthful about nominating Eileen the oldest housemate to be up... he is really pissed off about it... good onya Jack for speaking up young fella!... cheers.

Totally agree... though am somewhat surprised at Sam's meek rejection. Did she fancy the idea?

...now that you have said that it makes me wonder?... he still shouldn't have said it though... he's still disgusting... cheers.

A fanny and two Nicks.

Nick is a true enigma, I suspect he is an alien. In the bathroom he almost fainted and had to shield his eyes when Harry took a bath IN THE NUDE!!! If he knew that many other earthlings (myself included) bathe in the nude, his galaxy would probably collapse.

Sometime later we see Nick kicking a cushion through the bedroom, along the filthy floor as a child would kick a ball. This is where the transformation must have happened.

Forward again and Nick is making unmistakable advances toward Harry. Granted, Harry is wearing clothes now. Had his hormones awakened? Was it the kicking of the cushion that caused it?

PS: Almost forgot about the fanny. This is for those whose field of interest reaches beyond the bookmakers' odds and what the astrologer said on BOTS.
Nick, being an alien, which suggests that he gets around a bit, may have been a bit confused when Harry proclaimed that she'd just shaved her fanny. I was too for a moment until I regained my bearings and remembered that a fanny in Britain is not what it is in parts of the U.S.

On YouTube you can find a song by "The Band" called "The Weight". The chorus starts with the words: "Take a load of fanny, take a load for free..."
There is a dispute on YouTube whether it's fanny - fairy or Annie, because "fanny" surely can't be right - or can it? Yes it can!! At least in some of the Southern states in the U.S. Except in those parts of the world, fanny is your butt, not your pussy. :woot::woot:
There. True story. :p

...now that you have said that it makes me wonder?... he still shouldn't have said it though... he's still disgusting... cheers.
No, he shouldn't have said it. But he says disgusting insults all the time and most HMs now seem to put up with it instead of standing up against him. There is the odd complaint in the DR to BB.. but none of them has the courage to openly oppose him.
Nick and Cristian have become his lackeys already.

nothing p's me off more than people justifying a nomination by the person's age or financial status - and what a bloody hypocrite Simon is!!!!!
Whilst I'd agree Eileen doesn't seem to contribute all that much - and she was sitting around in the bedroom etc her age and the fact she's already lived half her life and the others have just started ...

as for Marc and his foul questions to Sam - seriously? SERIOUSLY???!!! is this how low the program has sunk?

I think they are scared to take him on in an argument though - they'd rather try to laugh it off that confront him over it. Unless there's a lot more we're not seeing to make them all turn around and say he's ok and funny ... BLAH!! he's just foul!

oh well since i'm not even half way through the episode I'll go and watch it - I saw that the nominations became public so they'll all witness Simon's reasoning - and hopefully turn around and use the same reasoning next week to get him nominated! See how he whines in the DR then!!

My my crimmy... your arrival at home seems to have reinvigorated you. Perhaps we can continue with the count now. I am up to 2475 :p

Lol at any time someone nominates Eileen it's because of her age.

and coming from Simon it was a pathetic excuse for a nomination

I really really HATE any mention of whether a HG has money, doesn't have money, has a gambling problem (WTF!?) etc as justification for a nomination - if any of that mattered they should stipulate in the rule book and weed them all out before the show starts ... we'd then have a truly diverse (sarcasm!!) cast wouldn't we?

If that is a reason to nominate WHY isn't Nick being targetted ... he obviously doesn't need the prize money ... someone else said they'd give the prize money away too ...

Sam mentioned Jack not getting the money because he has an issue with gambling - so what? I don't see a rule anywhere that if you win it you have to spend it wisely!? MAYBE just MAYBE he might spend it on getting himself some help with his issue - did she even for one minute consider THAT possibility!?

I don't like the way people have a go at the last winner of BBAU Ryan because they think he has a privileged background - thats NOT our business - our business is what happens inside the BB house and how they get themselves through however many days/weeks they have to negotiate the minefield - or in this case - timebomb that is Big Brother

they came in as the newbies with their agendas to shake up the house - their nominations were piss weak excuses and pathetic!!!

I couldn't agree more. But I have a question. When Eileen got nominated it was Simon's choice ultimately, he persuaded Sam to go along with his decision. What I didn't see is whether nominating Jack was actually Sam's decision. Sure, she did the deed i.e. appearing for the show in the DR... but was it really her decision? Does anyone know?? :bookworm:
