David Appreciation Thread

I actually feel pretty sorry for Priya. She's copping the negativity that I feel a lot of people are holding towards her fans for some of their behaviour. Whether you're a fan of them or not there's something really quite sad about an ex HM making a thread to answer questions only for it to turn into a slagging match with everyone calling each other c*%ts.

yea im the same, its her fans who have caused more trouble then any others and she shouldn't have to pay the cost

Actually it was Tuttle, kaz and antigretel that started it with pathetic fucking remarks .... Ones that they have done all season, have done in the Priya thread and just couldn't help themselves and had to start in priyas own thread.

Her fans have just had enough of it!

I agree, but when you pick up what trolls put down, it's when the problems occur. Trolls get bored very quickly, respond and they love it, they thrive on that. I honestly don't even know how the Ask Priya thread degenerated so quickly because unless I missed something, I saw no attacks on Priya directly, just slanging matches between forum members. No one is going to want to stick around for that, especially not Priya. Some people should learn to type their post, count to twenty, re-read their post, decide it's cool, and only then click Post Reply. You know, sometimes even silence speaks volumes.

I really respect Priya for not wanting to inflame what was already inflamed on these boards. Her post shows she created the thread for all fan bases, irrelevant of who was a fan of hers or not. She expected the doubters. She is unapologetic, but she was not against differing opinions. It was the reactions that she saw from posters to one another that made her leave. She did not want that. She never pointed fingers at who was to blame, but more seeing that the overall outcome was nasty and not wanting to ignite more of it. She started her own thread to address everyone, not just her fans, sadly the point will be missed by many

Agree completely. There's a reason why the trolls went for Priya's fans early on and continued. Arguing back with someone that's clearly trolling just gives them what they want, and when they know their trolling can get you to react like that they'll just keep going. Also, I noticed the exact same thing about that thread...hence why I wanted to make sure Priya knew the negativity had very little to do with her.
