Episode Day 52 (29/10/14) Daily show

So I glanced through the threads and sorry but not going to get involved in that big bullying argument in the pool with David. All boring as hell and overkill, mountain out of molehill. Something for people to talk about I guess. Hope you're all happy with your new found passion lol.

I just hope it's not going to escalate to the levels of the whole "Bring Candice into the house BB" argument.

Didn't feel worse or better off about David or Priya. My opinion hasn't wavered, you know, I didn't learn anything new from it, but yes, I think getting facts wrong is probably something to stand up for, it sure wasn't coffee she was drinking when she fell asleep lol, and if she did feel upset about it, stand up for it, clear the air, give them a kick in the balls.

I don't mind David he was kind of entertaining despite what I read some haters saying before I watched the episode... (try it sometime, read the comments and then watch the show and see how far off the picture was to your mind lol it's a hoot!)

The new distribution of housemates has turned out to be okay, interesting to see how they all handle it and we are no longer subjected to watching them couples cuddle up all the time..

As for the intruders, I couldn't wait for them to get involved in the sleepless task, they where way too chirpy in contrast and I couldn't wait to see them hit the zone of the other housemates, but yeh, not long to go now...O_O

Richard - speaks the truth but he's probably gonna get kicked out for being boring and too thoughtful. Isn't a good story teller, he was done with his story in 20 seconds and then sat down smugly to watch his fellows do the honours, relieved that he didn't have to suffer so much SCRUTINY.

Penny - great to look at, she's kind of interesting but I don't think she'll last to the last week. Skye seems SANE next to her.

Tom - too loud and overbearing, perhaps will get quite annoying.

Lina - I think a good contender for the finalists, most interesting out of the bunch. Be interesting to see where her morals are at. She's a little cocky seeming but.

You know I was originally confused as to why Priya only chose David to have it out with...even though there were 3 other people involved and it seemed her issue was with the newbies rather than David or Travis. I thought she was choosing him to cop it once again unfairly but the more I think about it the more I think she knew that was the best way to handle it. Resolving it with David first would have probably been a better move than trying to have it out at the same time with two people she doesn't really know and Travis who tends to not listen and just yell over the top in arguments.

In the gym David shut up when she was talking and let her speak whike Travis etc just talked over the top. Then he spoke again when it was his turn. As much as Dave can put his foot in it sometimes he's a VERY good listener and always lets the other person have their say. I totally disagree with some people saying he looked like a complete arsehole because he didn't at all.

Yep he showed great restraint for something that he was not in the wrong. Didn't overreact and keep it going like Priya.

Agreed :) Prisus and David have forgotten about it... They all hugged at the end and peace was made, I think some people need to rewatch that bit.
 
Well just caught up with the show. lots going on, but what came out of it for me was - i really like Lina so far. almost to the point of wouldnt it be cool if she first intruder/neighbour to win ! ;)

She is exactly what we where expecting out of Marina after that first dinner table conversation she had. I agree she's a keeper

Sorry to butt in, but I must take issue with your usage of the word 'inappropriate'. If something is inappropriate, it must be inappropriate to a particular place, situation etc. For example, clothing that is appropriate to a pool party would be inappropriate at a wedding. Conversation that is appropriate at a cocktail party might be inappropriate to the workplace.

If his views on racism are not appropriate to something in particular, then maybe 'inappropriate' is not the word you need. Maybe you find his views on racism offensive, or nonsensical, or some other thing. In any case, in this sentence, you have not used the word 'inappropriate', appropriately.

I didn´t like that she told the girls a total different version of what David said. She is very manipulative and money driven and i don´t like it.
