Katie using the word "poof"

Well actually what is happening is my sexuality is being used to degrade something (in this instance, a scooter and by extension the man riding it), therefore it implies that my sexuality makes me less of a human being. Which is not cool.
So you don't like being compared to a scooter?

By complaining about throwaway comments like this, it simply throws fuel to the fire. It's a little comment that shouldn't be taken so seriously. I wish some of y'all gay fellas wouldn't complain so much about these little comments which really don't mean much. Good example of a kid who dealt with it well was the one gay bloke in my year at school. When he came out he copped it hard for about 2 weeks, but he didn't give a shit. After that he was accepted for the person he was, rather than his seual preference, just like erryone else. I'm not saying gay people should be instantly be insulted for their preference but by not reacting to meaningless comments youse would go a long way to bringing equality in sexuality in society.

I'll be back in a hour to see how these lovely fine ladies react after leaving the Miley concert.

"Oh no my whole life is ruined because people are outraged after hearing the words 'poofy scooter', I'll just go kill myself now." I wish I didn't have to believe this is what some people are actually thinking and hoping.

They did!!

You go on a reality tv show for two weeks and get driven to a miley concert free, on the way call out a "pap", laugh at him, call him poofy and a loser and then tweet about it.

Well done fuckheads

Hahaha! I also noticed Katie had a pic on her instagram about getting her hair done and giving the salon a plug, bet she got that free too...I bet they're lapping up all the freebies. I wanna be there when it all dries up.

I have never regarded HMs as celebrities. Yes, they were on TV for a few weeks, but to me it doesn't make them celebrities.

Those 3 are not just pretentious but also ignorant.
No, I don't regard them as celebs either. They're contestants, not celebrities which is why I said if they want to pretend they live in that world. I agree that they are both ignorant and pretentious.

We have paparazzi in Australia? What....one dude with an iphone 5 riding a scooter?
Minus the iPhone.

omfg you've gotta be kidding me?

That's all well and good for "the one gay bloke" at your school, but for me, I came out and still copped years of both verbal and physical abuse. Words like "poofter" are very serious to me as they dredge up a lot of very hurtful memories, no matter the context they're used in, and no matter who says it.

Don't tell me not to add fuel to the fire. Ya'll shouldn't have started the fire in the fucking first place.

Hey, shithead, not gay, not male. Sucks to be you right now with your righteous post.

Maybe he had an EYEphone...

I understand that some of you might have had bad childhoods/teen years because you're gay and people look down on yas but you gotta understand that they are just words. You gotta own who you are. You can't let people get you down because they don't like your sexual preference. To me, anyone who publicly tries to put down a gay bloke is insecure because he/she seems em as an easy target. So you shouldn't let that shit get to you. Be proud of who you are.

Please please don't think I that actually think this is the same.

But my son and I have red hair.
The term ranga offends the fuck out of me.

Some guy on the bus the other day looked at my son as he was getting off the bus and says 'wow that's full on ranga isn't it'
And it upset me.

This is my son. Love him to bits and it upsets me that I know he will be teased and he's too young to even realise it yet

So the point I'm making that while someone might not see it as offensive, it still is and can still hurt, especially if people have gone through their lives with it as a form of bullying and taunts .

Christ some of y'all need to calm down. When i was in 7th-10th grade getting shitted on by older kids for being lanky and tall and skinny i didn't care. That's just who i was and i can't change that shit. Oh, please, fuck off. You're full of shit.

Why do you assume we are gay ? I am a girl and not gay, I still don't appreciate that kind of behavior.
